However, this curried butter beans avocado toast is 100% worth even more!

Regarding the pistachio machine: You must be lucky. What a adorable machine that even calls you dad. I also had a pistachio machine ones. He was 6 feet 4 and ran on beer. He called me "sweetheart" and he put ALL cracked pistachios into his own mouth. I ditched him and now I do the pistachio cracking by myself. More work for me but also more free space in the kitchen. 😅

Ok Andrew, you had me at ‘upscaling’ avocado toast. 🥑 Main stay in my house, but also my daughters house with my grandson. We always have a number of avocados loitering to be made into avo toast, on Sammie’s or just spruced up a touch, with sourdough discard crackers. Perfect timing for this arrival as I’m putting my market list together…only thing I don’t normally grab is the butter beans. Not sure why exactly since I’ve used them in another recipe of yours and thought they should be a regular addition to the twin pantry! Flavors all sound amazing to me, and huge plus is that I’ll have leftovers for the next day that will have melded, blended and matured to be a bigger explosion of taste! 💪🏻😋
I so look forward to these Sunday mornings! The main recipe without narration during the process, with discussion of subs after, helps with my visual learning. I no longer have a ‘nut shelling machine’ at hand, but thankfully I can purchase small amounts at bulk when needed.

Butter beans are a must to keep us twinning in the pantry but also just for ease of use. Avocado toast is such a staple in most of peoples kitchens, so it felt right to figure out a way to level it up just a little bit so it didn't become such a robotic and mundane source of fuel. I'm super excited for you to be able to try this one out! I also think some of the folks who aren't predominantly plant eaters will enjoy this one a lot. 🤗🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️

Yuuummmm!! I grew up with avocado toast in the late 80's and 90's, though not as amazing as this!, and I cannot believe how much ppl pay for basic avocado toast. This looks amazing

I'd be interested in doing the butter bean curry for dinner. We like butter beans and limas, and I always forget about them.

the recipes I make are mostly for families, but they are very easily modified for 1 to 2 people. On my website, the recipe will reference the serving size. This one can be subjective because it depends on how much you pile onThis one can be subjective because it depends on how much you pile on the ingredients to your toast. So it's about 6 to 8 servings. Simply cut the recipe in half and it goes to 3 - 4 servings. hope this helps! 😊

I substitute my own homemade oat yogurt for coconut milk. It makes everything super creamy. It's not fermented so technically oat cream would be more accurate. Butter beans are fabulous, I can only buy them canned & online where I live.

Pistachios with a free prize like Cracker Jack. Teeny whisk gets used daily in my kitchen. Pistachios are always fresher in the shell. Labor intensive but worth it. Enjoy

Question.. why was 44 chosen as the price?
I saw that an upscale restaurant was charging a ridiculous price for avocado toast that was pretty mediocre. It had avocados some seasoning, tomatoes, etc. so i figure i would figured i would invent something that would be worth it, but cost much less.
Why you specify that chickpea are a legumes ? The other " beans " are legumes also, no ? 🤔 sorry for my question as im french canadian and try to master the WFPB cooking 😅
2 X Cilantro? Think one of them is Basil and the other one is Cilantro (Koriander for the civilised world 😉)
