    My class started two weeks ago. I already covered 7 chapters. Going to Ultrasound school I had to quit my job because my job was a 9 to 5 job. I am currently working as caregiver. I think that's the best job for someone, who is going to school just work during the weekend overnight shifts wont hurt. you can bring your book at work try to study while your patient is asleep.

I already know that I do not want to be in a position where I need to work while in such a demanding program. I want to set myself up to do my best and focus on my studies and not having to worry about finances eliminates a huge part of the stress. Planning is key. I will say that accreditation and learning is very important to your experience at your school, but you still can get a good education at a school closer to home. You may have to put in a little extra work if the school isn’t the greatest, but I personally chose to go to a school closer to home because of the convenience. If you don’t mind driving further of having to move then going to a school that’s a little further away, but gives you a better education may be your best bet!

    • @cierrabreanna
      @cierrabreanna  Рік тому +8

      Lol that’s not a stupid question, that’s a great question! While you’re in the program, you must pass the SPI before you graduate. If you don’t go to a accredited school then you will have to take the ARRT before taking your boards to become ARDMS certified. If your school is accredited than you can just take the ARDMS board exam not the ARRT. This is confusing to explain so I’ll definitely make in depth video on it to explain these tests, but yes there is a board exam you must pass before becoming ARDMS certified which is what most ultrasound jobs require in order to apply.

If I find specific ones I’ll let you know! I would not recommend clogs, simply because the ones I’ve bought haven’t been comfortable. They’re more for aesthetics and facilities where you don’t walk around a lot

    Do you know any good schools that are best with this type of study ?

      Hi! There are many, but it honestly is contingent on your learning preference and how much money you choose to spend on education. Some programs are more expensive than others, but the only ones I know much about are the ones in my city. I hope this helps!

    If you get your ARDMS do you need to get the AART?

    • @cierrabreanna

      No, only if your school requires you to take it or you want to have both. Most employers in the US prefer for you to have ARDMS.
