    Waitttt a minute!!!! The sonographers are not obliged to read the images ??? I mean, I thought that was the complex and difficult part for the students.😂 omggg

      Yes, we write up reports on our findings, but the radiologist is who puts the final impression/report for the patient. Sonographer’s reports are just for the doctor to read.

    I've been following you for the sonography content, but I'm so glad you dropped this video. I've changed more than three times programs because of life problems/health problems/lack of interest and now for the forth time, I'm entering this new program of sonography, . Because of the fact I've changed programs so many times, people around me don't think I'll make it since it's a difficult program, and this keeps giving me doubts as well. I want to believe I can succeed if I put my mind into it.

    I have a question do you recommend me doing radiology school and then ultrasound for better job opportunity like how MRI is most hospital where the big pay need you to have a radiology tech degree even if you have MRI degree?

    • @kaylee7518
      @kaylee7518 28 днів тому

      Rad tech and sonography are two completely different roles. If you’re looking to go into MRI, normally a “pre-req” is having completed a rad tech program.

    To answer the whole "something I didn't know": & I hope this dosn't sound stupid, but I know all jobs have good and bad days, but I didn't know what a bad day in this field looked like. I have been researching thise field for a bit and have been wondering about that and how common experiences like that were in this field. I find it realy helpful that you emphasized what could go wrong on the job and what a person needs to 100% be emotionally ready for in this line of work. I have been considering going into this field, but I have found over the years that I am slow to heal from something like an unforseen passing. I am guessing this isn’t the field for me, but I really appreciate your highlighting of the pros & cons. I have seen a few other videos, and your's the first to really go over what a bad day is like. So I know this sounds like a bit of a bummer takeaway, but thank you so much for how thorough your video has been. It has been super helpful. Thank you!
