Good to see Father & Son having a 'bonding' moment together.
I see it as cheap labour ! Lol.
Even the plywood floor “fits like a glove” is there anything the Urch cannot do? Great video Matt - good to involve / teach the children. 👏👍✊😊
That’s what I was thinking.
And me.
Me, too.
So many missed opportunities for a 'fits like a glove' in this episode
1:21 Safety taken seriously with a fire extinguisher in place for wood work!😂
Good work..... love that you're bringing your family along and teaching your kids at the same time. Lovely
More first rate fabrication from a very talented man!
When fitting out a van for growing intrests ,open space & keep it simple always best .
Like father, like son. Junior Urch giving a little check that he’s lining up the sound deadening - like an aligned pair of gloves. 😅
Reminds me of my Dad outfitting a clapped out police van in 65 so the family could tour all of Britain, Wales and the Highlands before emigrating to Canada. Some of the hills in the highlands were so steep the whole family (Mum Dad myself and my two older brothers Bob and Stu) would have to get out and push while the youngest lightest sibling 'chuckles' would be steering. The highlight for me was peeing down my sleeping Dads neck as I could not make it to the potty in time (happened only once), woke everybody, ended up in gales of laughter. We visited Snowdon my Dads prewar training ground with the 21 Airborne or was it the 22? We did this before leaving the UK for Canada in 66, I turned 12 a week after we landed in Toronto.
Born in Bath Somerset, you can take the Englishman out of England but you can't take England out of the Englishman.
All the best Urch and family.
Making an old vans dreams come true , brings a tear to my eye 😢
Bloody genius…! Great way to mount the beds
Your metal fabrication skills come to good use here 🙂
Thats a cool new idea for a bed system snd amazing engineering skills too well done.
Bed looks a good idea. I can imagine it will get noisy in the dead of night without some padding.
Sorry Matt I've actually missed a few episodes I've been off touring Italy in my motorhome. Nice to see your boy helping out, ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍👍
Looks really cosy, nice job. The music sounds like the intro for Topper machine , a manual machine shop in the US.
Good idea Roof ventilator with solar fan to keep it dry inside
Like the ingenuity. 👍🏻
Good on you mate plain simple yet effective...maybe you convert that bed setup for a hammock as well just an idea
Coming together nicely Matt
Well done man, it's looking good. I have a T1N I am hoping to convert to a camper so these videos are a goldmine, thanks for uploading
Nice job. Precision cutting with the plywood, I see. When I did mine there were cardboard templates with lots of trimmed off pieces laying around the place but it got the job done. That van will be a good memory-maker for the family. 👍🏻
Interesting choice of music, it seemed like Lee Marvin was going to burst in and start 'singing'. The vans coming along well though !
Nice... look forward to the next video
Good job.
KEEN!
Your precision cutting of the floor and side boards is amazing. Well done.
The moment I struggle into that bed i would need the toilet. 🙂
puddins fab shop montage music was a nice touch. Van's looking good matt :)
2am “dad I need a wee, help me down” 3am “dad I need a wee, help me down” 4am “dad I need a wee, help me down” 5am “dad I need a wee, help me down” 6am “dad I need a wee, help me down”
Matt I was wondering can you lower the legs of the stretcher to give more headroom above the stretcher. How can you bend the metal and keep its springiness?
Good Boy😀
it is not usual to see you working with wood. It's interesting though :)
Сделано на скорую руку, но не плохо.
Хотя ржавчина на кузове немного смущает.
If they can fall, they will.
they are kids, made of rubber. just make sure they know that they are not allowed to fall off. that way they pretend like they didn't fall....
They will fall onto Dad's bed so it's fine😅
Slept in an elevated bed every night for 11 years as a kid, did not fall once (my brother did fall out of his every time he tried to sleep in it, so I guess it depends). It's extra hard to roll out of those campeds, you are always pulled to the middle in them.
What ever happened to this build mate?
Sorry man. Had to fast forward through the hillbilly music.
Cool concept! ❤
😃👍👍👍👍💪👻
