I swapped a MaxxECU sport into my 1996 bike, it now has cruise and traction control, electronic throttle, shift cut and blip. Ecu is really powerful, ultra flexible, I use it as a PDM too, it’s controlling the LED headlight power, it varies depending on speed and if if it’s dark. I would go for the sport because it has drive by wire and Bluetooth so it can work with the dash app
Great addition to the "Mongrel" Matty. Great to have you back on YT mate. Really missed your weekly posts. Cheers, Billy J. Queensland, Australia.
Cheers Billy
Looking much better already.
I love wiring, switches, lighting, relais, al the good stuff
Nice job, Matt!
Better you than me. I don't have the patience for wiring. I usually do just enough to get it working, and call it good. And I've even got an electronics degree.
Nice tidy work Matt and the time lapse cad and plasma cutting is oddly mesmerising
I dislike wiring but i do appreciate a nicely done job like that
That's so neat an install....Like you say it takes it to another level!...Great stuff Matt.
The PDM is a massive job mine was. But it’s good to go out side your comfort zone. Great vid Matt Aims support is fantastic
Superb to see Matt, happy days on the progress/upgrades on Mongrel \o/
Keep it up, Matt, you're putting out much better content, and hopefully, viewers and subs will keep increasing.
Cheers from another Queensland viewer!
Really nice tidy up. Looks great.
Great upgrade, I never liked that tiny tiny screen you had for a dash (no offence) this it way bigger and better 👍 nice to see you back brother 👌
Great job Matt ! Great to have you back on u tube ! Loved this vid ! The wiring stuff is all beyond me but it now looks super tidy 🖤💚🚘
Cheers
Good to see you are back! Really missed your videos. Excellent job on the wiring and planning, love it!
Bought a maxxecu race from Steve and Libby at PVE, they’ve been great to deal with.
I’m planning on doing some fancy stuff with pwm control of fans and pumps using those Ford pwm modules that are cheap.
There's no substitute for old school go faster stripes.
AIM make some great stuff. In my time I’ve used a MyTach, MyChron4, Solo & Solo2DL 🙂👍
Love this! Great work
Well done great work
I was seriously looking at Max's ECUs and did my homework but at the end of the day I decided to go down the Fueltech route instead it does so much more I get the budget build aspect and i respect your choices, I've had my Fueltech FT600 for 3 seasons now and i can honestly say with hand on heart id never use anything else, Good look and i hope it doese you well in your next season of racing loving the new shop have you still got your camper by the way?
Great job....
How much of your car is actually 1959 mate! I also have a MaxxECU running 16 ignition coils & 600 lb/hr injectors on my 638 cu-in Keith Black twin turbo engine I like the hell out of it!
Sloppy wiring to neat and tighty wiring! Shocking!😅 Wires make me go crazy.
hi mat ,can i buy the alloy mounts you've made for the screen and pdm ?
Very clean.. what software do you use for your 2d drawing? Cheers
Cheers, I use emachineshop
When is the turbo going in? lol A HONDA turbo would really wake that engine up!
Its already in.
@@Urchfab Oh damn I must have missed that. Bet it screams!!!!
I need ur help . Loving ur work where u based ?
Dorset
Is the ECU OK sat on top of battery?
