Thanks Matt. I'm designing/building an electric flatbed truck that could take a variety of structures. That welder looks like it may be great for aluminum production. I found that it is listed for $3800 in the US. I'll show this vid to my welder friends.
Great work Matty, Happy to see you back doing stuff again. Great welder & being used by an expert. Thanks for sharing. Billy J... Queensland, Australia.
Great to see some of your paid work you are doing. That will be a pretty cool coffee "truck" when it's done. The aluminium tutorial was excellent too. Love watching this channel.
Awesome looking machine, and they gave it to someone who could make it sing if it had the pipes! Beat the crap out of it, Matt; for aluminum it looks a treat- does it do the rest with as little provocation? Top of the Season to You and Your Family, Matt! Merry Christmas !
If I get the setting on my BOC mig350r just right I get a pulsed like weld with no crackling sound and a perfectly smooth weld. Its done by feeding not quite enough wire in with extreme heat, but it works!
Hi Buddy. There is a Facebook profile using your videos pretending to be you doing the inlet manifold for the saab b204 engine. They are called Shift Happens.
That looks like a good bit of kit Matt! Shame it’s not available over here. I remember when I was a kid an older guy I knew used to curse on migged aluminium! How things have changed!
Buy it as a Stel product from Italy, where it is made. And American company spec the specific welder, it turned out great and the mfg- Stel- bought them out. Stel looks to have been largely industrial welders. From the looks of their online catalog, I'd be pretty sure they have wiring for most national systems where appropriate..

I want that! That looks epic, in such a little box too!

Something satisfying about those MIG tacs.....strange that an Italian made welder isn't being offered here in the UK.
HTP are owned by STEL welding of italy - they sell their own brand Revolution 2500 which is the same welder for europe markets

Have you thought about becoming the UK distributor for HTP? It is interesting that they are made in Italy.
