Here is the best way to break it down. Each space station had a dedicated exotic ship set on a low % spawn rate. Just wait for it to show after first reset. When it does show eventually, some cases 45 minutes, buying it removed the exotic from spawning so you have to restart to give it a spawn rate again.
A first wave exotic is probably the ONLY thing I have never found on my own in all my 5k+ hours, and believe me, I´ve tried. One day maybe if The Atlas allows it. Cool rides Q
Rng really is crazy. I found a blue and gold guppy first wave the other day just farting around looking for Melody eggs for my living ship.

I have almost that exact same ship, the first one you showed, and my hyperdrive range is like 1701 and my maneuverability is almost 600. I did take a lot of extra time to make absolutely sure I had the strongest possible module upgrades though

Hey so I'm kinda new to the ship hunting system, I'm looking for this squid ship and I have a question. Am I supposed to enter glyphs from the video with the squid ship, then enter space station and wait for one to appear?
Yup. Since it's a first wave it should arrive as soon as you get out of your ship and reload the autosave

You got a point there happened to me as well with 2 star systems but also 3 star ones
I got a s exotic and a s solar ship on my new freighter in a 2 star system, been at this location and only seen one s in ten mins, I want my squid!! None of the locations like euclid have any!

Check that you’re in the right galaxy
I've done more than a dozen resets trying to get the Guppy, no luck. I get a Solar almost every first wave so I think the last update messed with the spawns.
Check if your in the Euclid galaxy on the galaxy map top left then look for a portal
@@qballgamingYT Yeah, I did it from my original home planet. I got a solar on almost every first wave but I gave up after 25 reloads. It's probably the Outlaw update. Thanks for responding.
@@johnxeero4160 I agree - I've tried a handful of 'guaranteed first wave spawn' videos now, and post-Outlaw, none of them are showing up. Lots of solars, though.

I went to the space station for the one at 8:53 but it isn't there anymore I guess. If anyone know the new location, can you respond with the link on how to get to it? I got the one in Q ball's video that is more recent where 2 exotic ships land, but it just bugs me when landing, the wings will sometimes clip through the ground before moving up. Sad about that because it is a very nice looking ship. I know in the more recent one you can get a red and gold one. I plan on getting it, but I like the look of the white and silver one more.

For some reason non of the first spawns come in. No matter how old or young the coordinates are. What am i doing wrong is there anything to might fix this?
Check in the galaxy map if you’re at the Euclid galaxy top left if not use the teleporter to get back there then look for a portal

I've watched multiple videos of people saying first wave and guaranteed exotics and I've never once found one from the coordinats given on these UA-cam videos... seems a bit clickbaity to me.
