For anyone getting a glitch where the ship is either not spawning, or is not interactable with (you can go through it) it is because of people's bases
in the area. Simply find the base computer of any base in the vicinity of the ship, log in as guest and report the base, which will make it disappear (only in your game). once the area is clear, reload your save, and you should be able to claim the ship.

Just got the 1st ship, the gold one. Didn't find it at the crash site, it turned up at the Space Station in that system. I robbed a Gek for it!
I actually came across my second ever squid ship. Someone else's system they found but i was just randomly exploring and found it

If you get to the location and the ship is not there (double check you had multiplayer disabled) otherwise just quit to the title screen and reload the save. The ship appeared for me after that

Its a real shame that we can only have 12 ships, specially now that we can build ships. Do you know if i sale an expedition mission ship (iron vulture, golden vector...) I can get another one later? How I do it?
There's a few that caught my attention how ever it's just there round and white
I wish I could like this video ten times. Only gripe. I flew around for an hour before I realized that the last (best) ship was under water.
If you don't want to repair modules like the pulse engine, just delete it and reinstall again (only works with recipes you know. Install it, then delete it. It will give you the materials to repair that component

I have a cooler red version of the one you call Mosquito without all the attachments. Just a ball and a wing. Its my favorite ship so far.
The royal 7 series is there, but I can't interact with it and can walk straight through it. It's there, but not there. Reloading the restore point does not help, I can still walk right through it.
I have the same problem I think because of the messages around it bugged the ship

That was maybe because you were in multiplayer and someone else took it if you were on the planet but I'm not sure if you meant the space station

Hi everyone, when i went back to the euclid system to change the glyphs it happens that the portal console to insert the glyphs is not reactivating and the portal remains blocked in that address, I tried to put a base computer and interact with it to unlock the thing and actually worked, but now if i click on "activate portal" option it just continues to repeat the dialogue without proceeding further and without starting the glyph insertion sequence, did I screw up the whole thing? Is there any way to solve this?

The very first ship given is false. Its not there. You should change this so people don't waste their time.
I even reported the base and reloaded. Nothing.

I got about 900 hours played and only came across 1 squid ship in the wild
the last one is no longer catchable, they made a base on top and blocked it. sad.
You can't really block a ship spawn. It wasn't there for me when I got there, however, you can go find a save point and reload restore point and the ship will be there
