- Changing out an elongated toilet seat with new Kohler plastic soft close , $29 at Home Depot. It’s so easy to do and affordable. Anyone can do this, even grandma! When the bottom of the toilet seat gets stained and nothing gets it clean, change out the toilet seat. It’s so nice to have new and clean seats. If you are taking a GLP-1, had bariatric surgery, on a weight loss journey, or having morning sickness, you are probably spending more time in the bathroom, so why not make it clean & pretty in there. In my primary suite, I even added wood floating shelves, dried flowers, hidden air freshener and a basket for the TP.

Love this. I also rent homes. But I'm considering changing to rehabbing and selling. Doing this yourself...👌🏽💪🏾👍🏽
That’s awesome Deb. I always wanted to flip houses, and have a short term
Rental, mid term and long term. But stuff always gets in the way. This was my daughter primary home and I’m helping her get it ready. I enjoy this kind of work too. Since I’m teaching summer school, it’s only 1/2 day so I have time to help too. I’m so thankful to have the energy and stamina again. I used to do so many more DIY projects at my house I out in the time back splash by myself, I’ve done cement curbing, painted and stained cabinets, changed out all the hinges, prepped and finished a side sidewalk and lots of painting. This was my first time meeting with painters to get quotes. It’s such good experience
Good job Pamela, they have toilet seats that slide into a slot it make removal for deep cleaning day or replacement easy in my home we have Bemis easy clean.
I was wondering about those too because I’ve seen some IG videos of ladies piping up the back and lifting off the seat I was going to see if these did that but I’ll have to check them tomorrow. I’ll have to check into what Bemis are too thank you so much M.Rae2 👍
A woman of many talents, I'm impressed!! :)
He he Thank you so much. My paternal grandma taught everyone to be strong and do things for yourself, so that up in didn’t have to depend on others. She worked hard and pushed through so many adversities. I feel like that’s where so get it too. 😉 thank you Martin. Boy I’m having b a good weigh loss week and this is the week I injected in the back of my left arm I am seeing trends that this area helps me a lot
I’m rooting for you to see the fruits of your labor to 👍
@@MounjarojourneywithPam We had it easy compared to previous generations - love that can do mentality! I've never tried the back of arm - one of the few places where there's more muscle than fat + terrified of wasting another $90 shot! Great to hear those pounds are still coming off! :)
@@MounjarojourneywithPam So much to learn, respect & admire from recent generations, Pam! Your grandma sounds like a great role model! How's the hernia situation? Great to hear you're still losing - never tried back of arm, too scared of botching another $90 shot! :)
@@nottherealmccoy4955 I don’t blame you for not wanting to g to chance losing more money either I sure wish there was a way to get this covered for all especially any those of comorbitity Yes this grandma was a great role model. She had perseverance through all the hard times she went through. She had 12 kids and my grandpa became an alcoholic which pushed her to be self reliant. They stayed together until three youngest were out if high school . My grandpas brothers didn’t seem to struggle with drinking and they had better jobs, but they also had less children than him. Thank you for always being here. I look forward to it. I got into the pool this afternoon and asked my husband to record a little so I can add something different too :) enjoy your Sunday
