I have owned this wheel. For the price a perfect wheel. Zero flex. And higjbquakitu finish. Love this wheel.
Just ordered a bundle from them with this wheel. This will be my first time playing with any kind of wheel since like 2005. Can’t wait to give it a go.

This wheel is FULLY compatible with a PS4/PS5, when you connect it to a PS compatible wheel base. It has worked on every game (acc, ac, pc2, f122, f123, gt sports, gt7) I have played and it’s an amazing value for money. All the necessary features you need and great build quality with no flex. Only downer it does NOT work on xbox.
Had this guy for testing in the workplace and I must say, its a big improvement internally from the V1 though not much changed on the outside :)

I have the wheel and I love it. The only Fanatec wheel I got. So I'll have to use it in unsuitable situations such as driving rally cars, its awkward but not bad at all. I got the Esport wheel as part of a CSL Elite bundle from 2020's Black Friday sale. Still using it now. Happy days! The alcantara is dirty now as I never use gloves hahaha! Soap and water shall clean it. How does it compare to the McLaren wheel I will never know. I wouldn't want the McLaren anyway.

@@zsombornagy1103I would take this one, if you play F1 games you will not need the additional buttons. I have a f1 v2.5x i would know, now if you play acc the couple more buttons are nice, but i really dont like the build quality and the shifters
@@Reazy- mostly I play acc I’ll use the wheel mainly for that
@@zsombornagy1103 to have the up and down flippers for that is amazing and to have the switches for tc and engine map is great, its a difficult choice for 20€ you get good quality, amazing shifter, qr1 metall, nice alcantara grips and a stronger ffb with some haptic feedback. Its difficult and i couldn’t decide for you. Thats exactly why i have the formula v2.5x, maybe look into second hand

I placed an order for the F1 esports bundle last week.....but then Fanatec cut the price of the Elite V2 pedals which brought the Mclaren Elite bundle right down in price....so I switched my order. Still very tempted by this wheel in the future.
Very good choice making the switch, the deal they have on the McLaren bundle is crazy good at the moment.
Good choice the McLaren rim is better... I have had both rims and use McLaren most of all. (Great all around er too).
The note to be aware of is the F1 is a little smaller than the McLaren... always felt like I was too fast on steering with the f1... hence the McLaren.... lol
If you are doing some F1 racing this wheel feels really great quality vice. My P1 v2 wheel which share the same plastic as the Mclaren feels super cheap after racing with the esports. The Mclaren is much more well constructed than the P1 wheel though so im not suggesting that the P1 v2 and the Mclaren GT3 2 are in the same ballpark. But the build quality in the esports are one league over any other cheap fanatec wheel that i know of.
@@Jonny._. That's kinda what my head was at when choosing originally. But at the current price and with the two clutch paddles on the McLaren, it's the most sensible choice for me at the moment.
Ideally I'd have an F1 wheel with rotary and clutch paddles, plus a 300mm round wheel.
@Jonny._. agreed the F1 is better for any open wheel cars.... any other type of car I'd rather the McLaren (imo).... I don't race enough open wheel cars to switch back and forth.... and I can see anyone doing mainly open wheel loving the F1 rim... 👍 especially at the price...

Ik no one will see this but how do you keep the rev led static? Mine keep flickering when I play f124. All my LEDs match the color and rpm in fanalabs but they don’t stay static. can someone help me please. Thanks!
Im maybe buying a csl dd soon and thinking of buying the mclaren pro bundle and wanted to know if for playing AC And ACC its better i dont really want to play any f1 games? i saw you where gonna make a video about it put the sale ends soon.
This is still one of my favorite f1 wheels to use on the market. Im sry but fanatec just knows how to make a comfortable wheel. Ive still yet to get cramps using them. Grips are perfect size on almost every wheel they make. Also im sry but that clean look is sexy af even better then the 2.5x.
Some of the best feeling buttons and funky switches made also. With my favorite paddles. I love fanatecs magnet paddles. Always have.
People say the vibration motors you cant feel which is just false. Its light but the perfect smount dont esnt it to feel like an unaturally gimmick but as of now it works fantastically for sure.

I have the Fanatec formula V2,5 wheel with also the rumble motors in the grip, but never really notice it on Ps5 with ACC, GT7 or F1 games...maybe other with same kind of wheels can give a light on it?
I think it’s a feature most prominently used on PC. Fanatec themselves claim to not guarantee full functionality on PlayStation consoles so that’s probably why :/
Not really rumble motors that you notice much. Even on 100% they're not really noticeable
The rumble motors are definitely noticable on PC. I play ACC and I can 100% feel when they are active

I have the McLaren and the V2, the V2 is a much better wheel. The McLaren has more futers but you can hear the buttons rattling, the V2 is much more solid. I ordered the V2 and transferred the GR2 from my McLaren with the idea of buying it later. gr2 for mclaren.Don't do that again v2 is a much better steering wheel.

This wheel with a dd is not compatible with Xbox? Like the bundle they have in the site
Xbox compatibility is built into the steering wheel unlike PS which is built into the base. For Xbox, you need to buy specific wheels for compatibility. So confusing, right?

As far as rumbles in the wheel fanatec have been doing them for a long time my Porsche 918 wheel has them but later ones like bmw v2 seem to remove them from newer wheels for some reason.
