Have you got the bolt screw on the quick release & tight to the dd pro shaft. Make sure you do That stopped the annoying noise & feeling on mine

I’d highly suggest a firm rig with uprights. I was using something like this for awhile and just upgraded and I was instantly quicker on the new one.

Great set but it beg for sturdy mount u have no idea how much details u loose on this wobbly rig it's like day and night once u got wheelbase not moving . I've been there and switching to aluminium profile sturdy rig pretty much shocked me how much better the experience was , highly recommend .

hello, does rumble motors in that steering wheel works in GT7? If yes, are they helpfull to feel the car's behaviour?
Yes it depends on the track. Gran Turismo has very good track textures and it does help with the feel of the car.
What shifter and handbrake are you using? And does it connect to the wheel base or directly to the pc?
The shifter is a Oktane designs sequential magnetic shifter. It connects directly to the wheel base.
What version of wheelbase is that? 5NM 8NM? What strength do you use it at? I’m upgrading to Fanatec for my Ps5 from g29 and I just can’t make up my mind on either, CSL 5,8 or the new 15NM. I honestly can’t see myself wanting more then 8 or maybe even 5-6nm but I just don’t want to go too low or too high. Like my arms hurt after using my g29 so I’m thinking 15NM might be a waste. Especially as it costs €1000 or about £1000. I just wish I could try 1 out. I’m leaning to 15NM because the 8Nm is about €600 and I want QR2 and I believe that’s €100 for 1 end and a bit less for other. Do you know if the new 15NM Ps5 wheelbase comes with QR2 wheelbase side? If so, is it possibly pre installed? On website I’m unsure if it’s saying it comes with QR2 or is compatible.
I have the 8nm GT DD pro. I love it but if you buy it I do recommend buying the QR2 along with it and switching out the shaft immediately because you will have connection issues at some point and the QR2 seems to solve them. I haven’t turned my wheel up past 6nm yet. Doesn’t really feel like I need too. The new 15nm does come with the QR2. I was thinking of buying it but I bought the QR2 and changed my mind. The 8nm wheel is perfect with the QR2. And for $1k you’ll be able to get pedals a wheel base and shifter lol but if you do buy the 8nm wheel just make sure you buy the qr2 along with it and you won’t be sorry.
@@TeflonPapi oh sweet. Now I’m thinking about buying the 8Nm what you have. Did you by any chance own a g29 before Fanatec or anything similar? If so, how is the forcefeedback in compassion? Like my g29 feels clunky stiffish and muffled, does direct drive make forcefeedback more smooth if you like? Or just as clunky and stiff? Right now I’m thinking of getting the 8Nm wheelbase, CSL elite v2 pedals? And probably CSL elite Wrc wheel. Total is £1100 plus the cost of QR2 and shipping.
@grahamkelly8662 it’s smooth. And some features are better depending on the game. Gran Turismo 7 tracks are really immersive. You can feel bumps in the road depending on the track. I definitely recommend the upgrade to a direct drive wheel. You won’t be sorry.
does this work on xbox too? cuz i saw some people say its not compatible with xbox but on the offical site of fanatec it says its compatible. im unsure
You have to make sure you buy an Xbox compatible wheel. But yes they have Xbox wheels.
Can i buy It ti play on ps5, the only bundle on fanatec says that This works on pc mas the wheel itself says pc and psready please help me?!?
All of them work on PC. But if your playing on PlayStation 5 make sure it says “PS READY”. Those are those only ones that work on PlayStation 5.
Do you use the wheel base in PS5 mode or compatibility mode?

I bought the ps5 version of the wheel. It came with the PS5 button caps.

@llChatOOOOOll I have two set of buttons. Each set of buttons I have came with each wheel separately.
Not trying to be rude. But you were talking about the paddle shifters, but you didn’t use them. You kept using the stick shifter.
I was just doing it for video purposes. I use the paddle shifters in race a lot more

Yes it comes with a QR1.
