    Thanks Rob. You have given us so much value in this video. I’m glad you mentioned that The Buffet contains oil whereas The Buffet with Copper is oil free. I did not know that, and I am prone to blackheads and enlarged pores, so I try to avoid oil based products and heavy creams. Sending you love and blessings.

    Another excellent video. Many of us are choosing TO products due to both affordability and effectiveness. So first I tried the buffet and thought it was hydrating and smoothing and liked it ok for evenings, not under makeup. Then I learned about the copper peptides and got that instead, even though I have a tight budget. You're right Rob, it is a miracle worker! I only use it 4 nights a week, it's very strong and only need a couple drops, but its lasting a couple of months that way. I alternate it with my retinoids, and using them both this way is so affordable. My 44 yo skin is tightening up and smoothing out, wrinkles are disappearing. Amazing!!!

My interest in the Argireline Solution piqued when you called it “Botox in a bottle.” At first I thought it was just a figure of speech to show how great you found it to be, but after watching Dr Dray clarify that this is a supposed topical version of Botox, with a similar chemical composition, I am truly interested in trying it out!

    Hi 😘 I have a little bit left of the Buffet and have my eyes on the Hylamide SubQ but also on the Argireline ( just for around my eyes ). I am just weary if I can use a peptide serum with Tretinoin and Azelaic lotion (from Dermatica ). 🤔 I used to use the Buffet with Granactive Retinoid emulation but before Tretinoin . I should be fine, shouldn’t I?

    Great information I've been using the Matrixl but next purchase will be the buffet + copper need to upgrade my peptides and I didn't realise to buffer after glycolic toner so good advice. In fact I need to soak in a peptide bath for my old skin 🤣 anti aging is definately my concern I'm lucky to have clear skin with and odd cheeky blemish hopefully the buffet may iron out those lines a bit. Have a great week 😊

    HI Rob, this is really great. Thanks so much for clarifying what Peptides are. I agree with you that the Copper peptides are great for producing collagen. They also activate stem cell production (have been studying this for a year). Question: Wouldn't exfoliation with an AHA or BHA conflict with the use of Buffet + Cu peptide??

    • @MadAboutSkin
      @MadAboutSkin  3 роки тому +2

      Hi hun I hope all is good with you and thank you so much for sharing that information the stem cells, I had no idea but thats another amazing benefit... You shouldnt use then next to an AHA or BHA as the PH will impact them so I would say wait a little for the PH to adjust back down or buffer with a more neutral product like a HA.. Sending lots of love xx

    Hello ladies and gents, I am a newbie in the skincare routine. I bought myself the glycolic acid 7% from ordinary and matrixyl 10% + HA. So my question is: can I combine those two products? For example at the evening after cleaning my skin, then applying glycolic acid and then the matrixyl? Should I add something else? And could I apply sunscreen in the morning after I already used matrixyl? I know there are a lot of questions. Maybe someone could answer me at least one of them. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.

      Haha he has his own unique beauty routine which seems to involve sleeping for 18 hours a day and ensuring that he has zero stress and maximum cuddles in his life.. For those of us who dont have that much sleep in our lives I would really recommend the NIOD copper, its the same formulation as the ordinary copper peptides but the delivery mechanism is so much better which means more of the copper gets to where it needs to in order to do the work so the results are amazing if you dont mind paying a little more for it.. xx

    What are your thoughts on standalone Matrixyl Synthe '6(e.g. Timeless)? I am thinking about using copper peptides at night, and a cheaper peptide in the morning, like Synthe '6. According to some online information, it does more for wrinkles than Matrixyl 3000, which is more for sun damage. Or would you suggest Argireline over either?

    • @MadAboutSkin
      @MadAboutSkin  3 роки тому +1

      HI hun thank you so much for your comment and thats a great question.. I agree with you about using a cheaper peptide in the morning then a copper in the evening. This will mean you get the anti ageing benefits of the copper but keep the overall cost down.. Argireline is amazing and can be used alongside all peptides so if you can afford it I would add it to the routine too... I hope this helps xx

    • @MadAboutSkin
      @MadAboutSkin  3 роки тому +7

      Hi hun thank you so so much for your kind comment and I am so glad your loving the channel.. Thats a great question and you can use it alongside both if you make sure you buffer them with a product in between.. An example would be cleanse, lactic acid, hyaluronic acid serum, copper peptides, moisturiser.. Then in the evening swap the lactic for the retinol and it will work perfectly.. Hope this helps hun xx

    Another great video Rob. I have been loving the argireline solution ever since you recommended it to me. You are right that it will help reduce the lines by about 25%. It is a product I will never be without.
    Can I ask, what is the difference between the copper lysinate/prolinate in SubQ skin and the copper in buffet with copper peptides? Is one more effective than the other? Right now I’m using SubQ skin in my morning routine and buffer with copper in my nighttime routine.
    Overall, peptides are great! Over the course of this year I am finding that I don’t have the sagging skin around the jawlines anymore.. I attribute that to steady use of peptides and facial massage. Anyway, my soon to be 52 year old skin has never looked better! XX

    • @MadAboutSkin
      @MadAboutSkin  3 роки тому +1

      Oooh thats a great question and there is very little difference other than the copper lysinate is more stable so is a little more forgiving about PH and the percentage in the subq is lower than in the ordinary equivalent though not by a significant amount.. I would see the SubQ skin as half way between the buffet and the buffet with copper peptides and so over a longer period of use there will be little difference in the results you will get from either copper peptide products.. Stick with the subq if its working and you love it..
      I am totally with you on the argireline solution and the key is setting the expectations, 25% is an amazing result for the price you get and so if people know that they know what they are getting.. Some people think every product will deliver a 100% solution and this is just not the case..
      Happy Monday xx

It’s helping to simplify my routine as well as I’m not using a stand alone hyaluronic acid anymore (for the most part). Hi, Rob, this is so on time! Just started using TO copper peptides 😊 you mentioned that acids and copper peptides are no-no together, so my question is: can i use acid toner, then wait for a long period of time, like an hour, for ph to normalize? And maybe then use hydrating toner, and after copper peptides. What do you think?) I NEED MY GLYCOLIC ACID 🤪

    • @MadAboutSkin
      @MadAboutSkin  3 роки тому +3

      Haha we all need our glycolic acids so I dont blame you and thats a great question.. The skin takes around 20 mins to normalise after a PH disruption so waiting 20 mins would be more than enough. Serums go on better on damp skin so spritz some water on the skin before you apply as it will be dry if you wait 20 mins and then the copper peptides will work like a dream xx

      Hi hun thank you so so much thats so kind of you to say and you can use them together though the ascorbic acid will impair the function of the matrixyl a little so I would apply it, wait a few mins and then apply the matrixyl..
