I'm so excited about this video! The SubQ Skin is one of the pillars of my skincare routines!! ❤️❤️❤️ I'm a little scared of the Good Molecules product, as I have read many reviews that claimed it was very drying to the skin. It is a constant struggle to keep moisture in my skin, so I'm not sure I will try this one. But, the one from Revolution sounds so promising. It is sold out right now, probably purchased by everyone trying to find a replacement for the SubQ!

Hi Rob for my super dry skin I like the dear, Klairs fundamental watery oil drop better than the sub q skin. it's more hydrating, comes in a 50ml bottle for around the same price and contains peptides (as well as antioxidants etc). I found it to be more "plumpng" on my skin and I could use a generous amount without it running out too quickly - I'm a bit heavy handed with skincare, as my dry/thirsty skin soaks it in so quickly anyway. I know the brand has had some issues (the spf debacle springs to mind), but this is a good product and also has a matching mist (like the hylamide version). My skin is hyper sensitive and this caused me no issues (which is harder and harder to find for me, as the rosacea has been really flaring). i've used 3 bottles of this in the last couple of years and like it. i'm using the Niod MG instead just now, but i'll get it again at some point. I might try the Revolution one though - £3 isn't a big investment to try it out. Best wishes.
Yes!! I am SO happy that you mentioned the Revolution Copper Peptide serum!! I have been using this since 2020 and absolutely love it!! This is not related to the video but I just wanna say: thanks to you I ditched SA to Lactic Acid 5%. My sensitive skin tolerates it really well, my complexion is bright and glowy!! I always wanted to get it but it doenst look that important to me, I did rather get new retinol or a moisturizer BUT THIS PRODUCT is FANTASTIC!!! best exfoliater ever
I have been using the Facetheory Polypep serum for about two months now. My skin is oily, but very sensitive due to rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. So far, my skin is loving it. It is definitely softer with no more dry patches and I have also noticed an improvement in my fine lines and forehead wrinkles. I mostly use it at nighttime as my very last step, as it is very hydrating and helps me skip the moisturizer, and, when I don't apply the G&G Porefectly Clear every other day, in the morning under sunscreen, as well. Two drops are enough for me, so it lasts for a long time, too. It is one of the very few Malassezia safe peptide serums, so this was the main reason why I bought it in the first place. The day before yesterday, I even ordered three more bottles to benefit from the sale season, so I think I will be probably ok for almost a year!
What I will miss the most is the SubQ mist! I will spray that on my face right after my shower and my face will be fully hydrated while I use my body products ( like to use them while my skin still has the shower moisture!) then go back to my face routine! NOTHING I have found that beats this amazing post-shower face hydrator with all its goodness in it! If you find an affordable dupe please let us know! I am stocking up now!
I don't get why Rob didn't mention the other copper peptide products from Deciem. He's raved about The Ordinary one & the NIOD one before, which is why I tried them in the first place.
I still have three bottles, I will not stock up here as I am backing away from Deciem due to the fact that the company is no longer Deciem, it's dusty, moldy Estee Lauder. I have about three products from NIOD and the ordinary I still want to try, but so far for me NIOD was not worth the price and TO has a lot of dupes. Thank you for the Indeed Labs proposal, although I do not see the copper component there, seems interesting and the price is not that much higher (not close to NIOD anyway)

I was reading about matrixyl on the ordinary’s site. And they recommend not using copper peptides with it at the same time, As you were mentioning possibly using those two together?
The 'Copper lysinate/prolinate' ( main active ingredient)is in Dermtlgy Needless serum, and eyesillix ll Indeed labs, this Ingredient is some la prairie products! & Allies of skin ect... so I hope Deciem don't up the price if they bring it back in the Ordinary!!! I'll have to make my 7 last me lol 😂 Matrixy'sl the nxt best and Face Theory look good Ingredient wise, thanks for the video 👍
Rob, can you get Drmtlgy in UK? I’ve heard their Needle-less Serum has copper peptides, so maybe that might be a sub (if not dupe) for SubQ? I’ve tried it & it didn’t seem to do much for me & it’s quite expensive, even with discounts Drmtlgy regularly offers.
I'm actually just getting ready to open the Super Peptide Serum from Good Molecules with a bottle of Matrixyl right beside it I in the cabinet and was thinking of mixing them lol. I noticed that Cos de Baha has a Peptide product that is fronted by Argiraline and Matrixyl. I'm too curious about whether it will give similar results to T.O. mixture of the two without having to purchase the two seperate products. I already know that I am going to have to try it. 😂 I'm enjoying their Azelaic Acid serum, so at the great price and easy availability on Amazon, I'm thinking "why not?" 🤔

What I liked about the sub Q skin was the watery texture. I gave it to my BF and he accepted to use a serum. I bought the polypep from FT once but it’s only. There is thus no chance that my BF will use it. I think that I will adapt the routine of my BF with the survival 0 in the morning and retinol at night. Let’s hope he’s ok to use 2 products 🤞 Why did you not talk about the buffet + copper peptides btw?

I know I was only suppose to spend on MAS this month, but with my cat still needing TLC and now I have Covid I needed something to cheer me up - so online retail therapy it is! 💰😄
I’m interested in trying the snoxin II from Indeed labs once I run out of my SubQ skin. I also have been considered the one from FaceTheory in the past since I’ve liked every other product from them I’ve tried. I’m not a fan of the Good Molecules super peptide serum. I’ve been looking at the Drmtlgy Needless serum but the price 😬. The Medipeel Bortox serum is what I used before switching to the Hylamide. I liked that one a lot but switched to the SubQ since the medipeel is almost 2x the price, I may just switch back though since I did see results.
I totally went to buy the Revolution serum, but it is still sold out for US buyers. I do have another bottle of the FT so I’ll try that after I run out of Sub Q …. It may be a bit since I’ve got 3 backups + the 1 I have in my skincare den 😬

You seem to review multiple brands of products. Did you use them all at once to know which one worked? Or do you usually stop all other products when experimenting with a specific one?

RNW ceramide plus actually contains copper peptide along with other peptides in addition to the ceramides. Brilliant all rounder

I didn't dare to go for the revolution one because it was suspiciously cheap! Instead I stocked up with the subQ 🥴
