The title of this video is self-explanatory. The commercials in this countdown may scare or shock you into either giving up smoking completely or steer you well away from ever touching a cigarette.
Perhaps you could share this video with somebody you think could benefit from watching - perhaps a smoker who needs to quit, or a non-smoker to reinforce them to never start. You never know, it could save somebody's life.
Smoking affects all of us. If you or someone you know would like help quitting smoking, please talk to your GP or healthcare professional for further advice. Terri Hall was a lovely person. I have the utmost respect for her spending the remainder of her life educating younger generations about the dangerous of smoking. Even though she was suffering from her illnesses and in pain, she got up every morning to try and prevent others from suffering similarly, speaking at schools and other events and telling her story. She was a real class act and died much too young at the age of 53, leaving behind her daughter and grandkids. May she rest in peace. 1960-2014 ❤️

Cupckake Love I wanted to try it out a while back (no joke it was also because I thought it looks cool) and I did, and I ended up liking it.
I smoked when I was extremely stressed or aggressive, because it seemed to soothe my nerves.
I didn't smoke for a few months now though, I still have troubles controlling my anger but I'm on a way to solve that in a more healthy way (such as boxing).

And these people there probably thought the same way and ended up like that (even though I think these people probably were smoking ten packs a day to end up like this). My grandfather lost both of his legs and ended up dying thanks to his bad smoking habit when I was just a little kid.
Even if the numbers are small, it's still unhealthy and kind of pointless to me when I think about it.

Last year my Grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer. He smoked from age 16 to age 72.
His thoughts were always 'Stop trying to make me quit, smoking makes me happy.'
He has severe burns on his back from radiotherapy, and his thick beard is down to a few hairs now.
My family doesn't deserve this. He doesn't deserve this. And none of you reading this deserve it.
If you have ever thought about quitting, please do it. You never know what will happen in a few years.

My dad smoked up until I was fourteen; he started having trouble breathing, got heart palpitations and had a few fainting episodes. One day he was driving my younger brother and I home, and when we were one street away from home he blacked out and sent the car to the side of the road; he luckily woke up a couple of seconds later to take control of the wheel again when the branch of a roadside tree hit the windscreen, but that incident was the final straw for him. He’s been a non-smoker for years now, and I’m glad he’s had no more health problems. However, it goes to show that people who don’t care about the consequences are best changed by a massive shock.

I used to have a great bus driver when I was a little kid, i always sat in the front seat and talked to her we were very close, but 5 years ago in 6th grade when i was 12 she passed away bc of smoking I'm 17 now and a senior and i really miss her and think what could have happened if she quit bc she just kept doing it. She was about 50 to 55 years old.

I was 12 when i started smoking, i smoked 3 years and stoped... my friends are more in shock and think im "cooler" that i had the power inmyself that i stoped smoking and never went back to it. Everytime i think of smoking i watch one of these.
The Korean PSA is downright scary. 3 of my cousins and I are the only ones in the family who never smoked, we're the only family members still alive.

When I was in second grade, a woman with a stoma in her throat came to speak to our class about her history of smoking. She allowed us to ask questions, explained every single one of them, and left me with the solid decision to never take up smoking.
I really do believe the best PSAs are the ones with real people just telling their story. "hey, I started smoking when I was a teenager. this is what happened to me."
