Having the entire tutorial in the first few seconds and then going more in depth is so fucking awesome, more people should do that. have a like for that, and thanks for the explanation 👍
VERY helpful and to the point. I do appreciate the additional explanation afterwards, helped me better understand this black magic buggery that doesn't seem to exist anywhere in official capacities for this purpose.
this is how all tutorials should be. i love the format of a quick explanation at the beginning and then breaking down each step. and the breakdown was the perfect speed to be understood but not dragged out. it was one of the few tutorials i could follow without having to pause and/or skip ahead. thank you so much for making videos like this!

Literally the best most in depth and simple video on UA-cam about audio. I kept getting copy wrote on twitch cuz I didn’t know how to separate my audio and this solved all my issues
OMG first time ever sb did not do 10 hours ad for himself at the beginning and then starting 40 minutes later dealing with the issue. I was so happily surprised that you have immediately started explaining, thats awesome!

thank you for the tutorial, love to see the format of instantly getting to the point. I was a bit confused at the beginning on how to seperate the stuff with the Voice Meeter, but after scrolling a bit threw the comments i found the other video where you explained everything perfect, took less than an hour to set everything up. Earned a sub
I wish this was useful, but this is the easy part. How did you separate Spotify audio from the rest of your desktop audio? This is the part I'm struggling with since using an audio mixer like Voicemeeter Banana adds latency to the audio.
It is done with Voicemeter and the added latency is not noticeable when using ASIO drivers. Worst case you could add a video buffer, to re-sync it. However, I never saw audio of voice meter running behind more than 1 frame.
make sure you are using the WDM hardware out option for whatever you are routing, it has the least latency. as for separating the spotify audio something like EarTrumpet is incredibly easy and efficient to use if you want to designate certain audio sources to specific audio cables.
I know im a bit late lol but there’s a tool to separate audio sources individually, look it up on youtube you will find an excellent video explaining it step-by-step, and there’s no latency since it’s done by an OBS plugin.
This helped fix my issue with Twitch soundtrack. Their support literally made it seem like the steps on this video were going to be done automatically.
I may be dumb, but how do you get an extra source for the Music? I only have 1 desktop audio and when its not heard on the vod , viewers cant hear ingame sounds.
I am using Voicemeter to virtually route the music to a separate input. There are a ton of software solutions out there that allow you mixing your audio more granularly then the default Windows Audio Mixer.
Nutty on his channel gave the impression that Twitch is more forgiving than UA-cam with music content, which is why he streams to Twitch and UA-cam using different audio channels I suppose it's all relative
Thank you for explaining the difference between the audio and twitch and how it works. i previously watched another video and it didn't not explaion and left me more confused. i'm glad this was so simple!
Thanks my dude, I spent two whole hours trying to do this with the wrong advice. When you have your second video it cleared everything up and made everything easier.
beautiful. just beautiful. straight to the point and then in depth. i dont know what you even do or if i will even like the rest of your content but i am subbing just for that lmao
At long last I found a video that is straight to the point!! I can play any music with out the worried of be copyright or DMCA! Thank you so much GreenBox!!
Amazing tutorial, i especially like the music and short version of tutorial in the beginning. So glad i found this video, took 5 minutes to solve my problem.
Thank you for this. This helped me figure out why my entire audio in my VODs were silent (without twitch muting it) and at the same time helped me understand how I could use this in the future for games that I know have music that could get claimed or to help when I want to edit them for youtube. Big help!
Just done a 24 hour stream, got flagged for copyright - had my track 1 and 2 the wrong way round, realised what I'd done after watching this - thank you :)
I appreciate the Videos and the Hero work you are doing here. I feel like an in depth video is missing in the community on just exactly how the tracks are designed to work like their design and purpose, there is a lot of confusing info out there and I understand that people like simple, but if there is a more in depth knowledge on audio Tracks I would find that very interesting, and i have seen some of your videos but haven't had the opportunity to go through them all, so I apologize in advance if you do have something like this available. Like I said your a hero man, keep up the good work! ❤
This was incredibly helpful! I've watched a few vids describing this method but your video was the only video where it "clicked" and everything made sense. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the tutorial man, I post most of my content to UA-cam as well and since UA-cam is a lot stricter with copyright I want the music removed from the VOD just in case, so this really helps!
Why isn't every video tutorial like this? Super helpful to have the quick steps up front and then go through each of them slowly and in-depth. Didn't have to skip through multiple minutes of mind-numbing "Hey guys, streaming sure is fun and today we're going to learn how to do audio, but first remember to like and subscribe and ring that bell!"
I can't enable the Twitch VOD track setting.. 1:23 I also have none of the "Audio Track" numbers picked and can't click on them either. I also can't change to simple mode for output, incase that helps I've just been using Desktop audio since I started streaming in january Edit: turn off OBS cam
