This video genuinely helped me. When I first saw this video last week, I was ~2 days away from uploading a video I had spent probably 100+ hours on, more than any other video on my channel. After watching this, I realized my intro was not good at all. The line where you talked about how people know how much work their own videos are, but their audience doesn't, so the intro has to sell them on it, really resonated. At the last moment I brainstormed a new thumbnail/title/intro combo following a lot of what you described in this video, and it turned out to be a 1/10 and have the highest audience retention at the 30 second mark I've ever had. So thank you!
Oh my gosh this is amazing, thank you so much for sharing! I'm so glad this video was able to have such an impact - intros are so hard to get right, and it's incredible that this video was able to help :) and congrats on your 1/10!! 🎉🎉
One thing you didn't mention, which I think makes it a bit easier to create the intro... I have a background in TV production with hundreds of 10-15min TV features under my belt. And what we always did was to create and edit the intro LAST. We spent days editing a killer 15min video and only then sat down to create the intro. Because by then we knew our footage, the story arc, the best and worst parts and everything else inside out - and only if you know it inside out can you create the perfect intro. Wouldn't it be a shame to spend a lot of time to edit a killer intro only to then spend days trying to match the expectation in the rest of the video while realizing that the story you promised in the intro was never there? So in short: edit your video first, then edit your intro. Saves you time and nerves.
A great thing unfortunately missed in video 🙂🙂 i already spent a day on making intro and now wasting time on thinking how to match the expectations of audience in the whole video... I should rather make the video first and then accordingly have made the intro🫡🫡
I re-watch this video every time I'm writing a new video script.. here's my hook intro checklist based on this video: 1. Intriguing title and thumbnail to get the click 2. Mirror the thumbnail and repeat the title in the first 5 seconds to tell viewers they're in the right place 3. Create open loops in the viewers mind - (eg: create a 3 step formula or blur something out) 4. Provide context (what is it, why are you doing it, what's at stake) 5. Exceed expectations by using input bias (show the viewers that you've spent a lot of time, money, effort on the video) 6. Make the intro visually appealing for UA-cam auto-play without sound (front load the stimulus) 7. Love the process
I disagree with #2. Instead of repeating the title and thumbnail, make the first 5 seconds pick up where the T&T left off, delivering something NEW and of value.

Yo, how are us smaller channels even supposed to compete when the big ones are using things like sem rush and social plus to boost their reach? Kinda sucks putting in all this effort and barely getting noticed. Wishing everyone good luck out there! Also, I'd love a sub if you can!
This video about UA-cam intros is by far the most informative one I've come across. Unlike others, it provides clear, actionable steps without leaving things open-ended and confusing. Great job!
This is one of the best (and unexpected) 'How to succeed on UA-cam' videos that I've watched and rewatched in a LONG time! This video is pure gold. Full of value, actionable tips and so well put together! I can't wait to see the videos you have coming for the new year
Aprilynne, this is insane! I am positively shocked at how much you improved over the last 2 months since I started watching your content. Not only do I enjoy watching the videos more every video you drop, but you also found a way to improve impurities like sound design from a couple of videos ago. Not only that, you achieved 1000 subs! Congratulations!. Keep going. You are such an inspiration! 💘
Thank you so, so much Alandra!! You've been such a consistent supporter throughout the last 2 months, and I can't express enough how much that means to me :) I'm so glad you liked the video! Really trying make the best video I can, every time
Thank you UA-cam for recommending this video to me - finally the algorithm is doing it's job properly! Aprilynne, thank you for this informative and insightful video - I can see the hours of work, editing and research that went into this! Also, I already watched your full story - extremely inspiring! A few months ago I quit my job in big tech to get into UA-cam full time so I truly resonated with me! Very grateful for your content and looking forward to more :)
You are exceptionally skilled at creating content. The improvement from your last video to this one is substantial, and I found it impossible to stop watching. Typically, when I watch videos, I tend to scroll through recommended videos in search of another one, but this particular video held my attention and left me eager to keep watching. It's only a matter of time before the algorithm catapults your channel to greater recognition, and I genuinely cannot wait for that to happen. I'm fully invested in your journey towards achieving your goals. ❤
I made a new playlist just to add your video in it. That’s how good it is! You set the bar really high. A primer on how to deliver on what you promise in the T&T, and then some! I’m fully expecting this channel to blow up!
This video is literally PERFECT in every sense of the word: from the T&T, intro, editing, all the way to the lead magnet (her pdf), conclusion, and everything in between: I’ve never seen a UA-cam video this PERFECTLY crafted (and I’ve been watching UA-cam for years). Girl knows what she’s doing 🎉
This is too wonderful ❤️ I was actually feeling like I was in a class listening to my teacher explain this clearly with perfect examples. Thank you so much for this piece
Oh all the countless videos I have watched talking about this, this has absolutely been the most informative and structured video on this I’ve seen. From the visuals, to the east to understand points, and how you laid everything out. This is a great video and I’ve learned honestly SO much from these 11 minutes. Thank you.
Aprilynne, your video is SO GOOD. I need to hop off now (6-min in) to spend time with my wife, but I put it on my todo tomorrow to finish it. You know you've done something amazing when someone does that. Keep going!
This video will blow up. At least 500k views, I'm already predicting. Your video answers a highly demanded question, and also keeps delivering informatiom from start to finish without a break. I guess that's the overall approach of most of the youtubers
This is an incredible video! Well done. Your lighting, your editing, the quality of information. I’m inspired!!! I will re-watch this as you have assimilated a lot of information and packaged it very well! I was Surprised to see that your only Currently on 1000 subs, I am very confident you will smash through 500,000+ in the near future. This is the quality you are projecting!
This is fantastic advice. For real, I will be going back to this video when I need a reminder. Like, I never really considered the importance of input bias, but it makes SO much sense. And I realize a lot of my best performing videos accidentally conveyed the input bias. Also the way you frame not focusing on thumbnails and titles as kind of "selfish" (to paraphrase) because you're not providing the audience with what they need is an epiphany for me.
Your absolutely insane at making content even the improvement from last video to this is huge and I couldn’t click off this video, I’m almost every video I watch I scroll through recommend videos to try to find another one but this video kept me so engaged and wanting to keep watching the algorithm is going to have to blow you up so soon I honestly can’t wait I’m so invested in your rise you can achieve your goals ❤
Have recently subscribed to your channel and find it so useful as a freelance UA-cam video editor and a person who is interested in creating educational content on UA-cam myself. The content is always such a high quality! Truly, good job, Aprilynne :) And kudos to your video editor - they are doing a great job as well! Looking forward for your channel to blow up✨
I'm so glad you're liking the content!! And the video editor is me so thank you so much for the compliment 😅 And if you there are any topics you want to learn about or any video requests you have, let me know!
What a helpful, impressive, and very informative video! You studied all this and put it into an 11-minute video to help all of us who've been wanting to start a UA-cam channel this year? You have my biggest RESPECT, Aprilynne. I love you!!! I just posted my first-ever UA-cam short video earlier, and I will definitely follow the guidelines you've provided. ❤
Best video I've seen yet on UA-cam intros! Ps. How does this channel only have 3K subs?? I legit thought I was watching a video from a channel with like 500K subs or something. Mark my words, this channel will blow up! Well deserved
It's amazing that you're so able to add such valuable insight when so many how-to-UA-cam videos out there talking about titles and thumbnails. The details you provide are so valuable and really set you apart from other how-to channels that are much bigger in subscriber count Thank you.

You put your heart and soul into this video and it DID take off! And you deserve it too! You're so right, I do sometimes (often) think ''THIS video is the one that will go high in views'' and then I get 80 views 😏 UA-cam IS hard but it wont stop me from publishing week after week and improving each time. Keep at it! We are not alone on this journey 😀😘
I actually hadn't even realized that my best video on my channel was because I followed these steps without realizing it. Now I have a template I didn't have before THANK YOU!!!
I just realized that some of the best music videos are mostly successful in views because their first 5 seconds are so good and high quality, and though the music industry is very different to the others, this was helpful, because I just realized how important those first 5 seconds are
Just started my youtube channel 2 years ago and barely posting that much anymore but ever since I watched this video, I have been feeling motivated to follow these steps and make videos the right way, thank you for the tutorial!
I felt like I spent a ton of money for this info. I’m a smaller UA-camr and I’ve been trying to understand why I’ve gone stagnant, this made so much sense. Thank you!
Today while watching this video I completely rewrote my current project's intro to match the goals outlined here. I think it made the intro significantly better, so thank you :)
Wow! This far exceeded my expectations and I'll be applying what I learned from you to my next videos. Thank you for providing so much value. Here's to making small improvements with each upload!
I used this video as an inspiration for my video (charisma) and it was a HUGE help. I watched it probably over a 100 times and always discovered something new! Thank you so much Aprilynne
Here before this video blows up 🚀 first time viewer here thanks for the useful tips going to rewatch tmrw and take some notes for my next video, ur absolutely right some videos blow up outta nowhere haha 😂 btw I have one tip for your ending that I learned from Nate Blacks channel last week...when you give too many calls to action like comment subscribe etc psychologically the viewer will check out and is less likely to do any of them. Great vid btw and i couldnt agree more enjoying the process is half the battle. Instant sub 👍
Thank you so much for the feedback and for the kind words! In future videos, the main CTA is usually going to be to watch a different video, but I appreciate you calling it out 👏
@AprilynneAlter Yess, I've been trying to incorporate that as well... creating your own watch loops, so simple but effective and I'm sure UA-cam loves it too ultimately they want to keep viewers on for longer! It would be fascinating to know what sort of retention and drop-off you got on the intro of this vid 😉
I ignore all commands of that kind. It comes across as rude. I acknowledge all comments because I’m thankful for their time shared with me. If someone among those commenters invites me to their channel, I check it out. That’s what builds a little community. Just one opinion. Obviously youtube works differently. It can’t work if you have a zillion subs.
This was one of the most useful video on the topic. This was also the first one during that I made actual notes, which means a lot! 😁 So all I want to say is: thank you! ☺I will follow this guideline as much as I can in my next videos.
I can't believe how much i learned from this! I can totally see all the effort you put into this video. Incredible! I'm ramping up my youtube videos after a few years of being on and off with my channel. This video has given me some clear steps to the best process of making my videos! Here are my notes: 1. Get a great idea 2. Come up with title people cant pass up on 3. Create / sketch thumbnail idea before video creation 4. Plan out the first 5 / 10 / 30 seconds of the intro of the video - Restate the title - Show visual matching thumbnail - Provide context (why am i building local bike trails?) - exceed expectations by surprising viewers with even more reason to watch - (Tell them the amount of effort you put into this video)
I loved the thumbnail so much that I had to click on the video! And the whole video was so well edited and the information was presented so nicely! Keep it up, you're gonna blow up soon!
Ahhh thank you so much! I've had a lot of positive feedback about the thumbnail, which is so awesome. And I'm so glad you liked the video!! Thanks for watching :)
Oh my goodness this was great!!! I think I got wrapped up in people saying “just start now, get better later” thing. I’ve decided to pick up social media again just a few weeks ago and even though I’ve now chosen the lifestyle niche, I will do my best to apply all these tips! This is the best and clearest video I’ve watched regarding the matter. Thanks for being concise and I wish you all the growth ❤️
This video is amazing overall, no take away from all the hard work you put in here. Just one thing, I wish you didn't take most of your intro from Jon Doman. Edited. Also portion of the description, and some structural elements of the video. You really didn't have to do any of that, you already have the talent to make your own amazing video. Now that I discovered all of this, it just puts into question the rest of your channel's authenticity. How much of your content and knowledge is yours? How much was taken or "inspired" by other creators?
Yep, took a lot from Jon! I have that in the description, too :) one of the tips that are often given to newer/smaller UA-camrs is to emulate the style of others, to help you find your own! My goal for this video was to make a Jon Dorman-like video (love his style!) specifically focused on intros. His video about UA-cam videos as a whole was great, and I thought I could add a lot when it came to info about intros themselves! I appreciate the feedback though, and I'll definitely take that into consideration for my next video. Thank you!
@@AprilynneAlter The problem is, everyone in this comment section thinks that you're the original creator. They'd have to read the description to know it's heavily inspired. And when you reply to praises about your intro, you neglect to mention it was inspired. Anyways, just pointing out what's against my own belief as a creator myself. The rest of your video was AMAZING on its own, you really didn't need to take inspiration as much as you did. And since you did, you should give proper recognition to the original creator.
Thank you for sharing Aprilynne! I found this to be such a good reminder on making a killer intro. I feel like I’ve started to implement some of these, but having this all in one compact video was awesome for a refresh!!!
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 502 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Wow, thank you so much for this comment! It made my day :) And stop, 502 subs and over 100 watch hours is HUGE for 6 months! That's AMAZING!!!! You're absolutely killing it 🔥
@@AprilynneAlter I sincerely appreciate such kind words! Continue to grow as a person and I’m so glad that you’re part of this journey! I’m hoping to upload my next one this month, which is more than an hr long. I’ve been working hard for many months now to present it in the best way I can while keeping in mind that I can never make it perfect. I hope that you’ll enjoy it! Thanks so much for your support!

Love the break down and logic that went into this video. I've heard channels talk about title and thumbnail first 1,000 times, but never with this level of detail/importance. It brings a new perspective that can relate to *any* channel, not just the hyper trend ones. Thank you :)
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 01:09 🧠 Craft a compelling title and thumbnail (TNT) before creating your video, as viewers decide to watch based on these elements. 02:19 📸 In the first five seconds of your video, match your first sentence with your title and your first shot with your thumbnail to engage and retain viewers. 04:10 🕒 Structure your intro by creating curiosity gaps, providing context, and leveraging input bias to exceed viewer expectations. 08:05 🎥 Show, don't just tell, in your intro by using captivating visuals, and pay attention to pacing to keep viewers engaged before they click away. 10:25 🚀 Focus on key elements: title and thumbnail, first five seconds, structure, visuals, and pacing, to create a killer UA-cam intro and enhance your channel's success.
I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel. I’ve recently started my UA-cam journey and I’ve been improving with every video. But the content you have posted is gold and I can wait to sit down and take notes on the content you put out. It’s both entertaining and packed full of value.
Here is a wild idea for 2024: Start doing content for your subscribers and not for the algorithm, and anything else will fall in place. The most successful channels at the moment don't create thumbnails anymore, don't edit their videos, and upload up to one hour of RAW material of them working out, fishing, or riding a motorcycle on the track. Be 100 % authentic, be 100 % you, and whatever you do: DON'T USE AI VOICEOVERS! Forget about the algorithm and follow your passion.

This video about UA-cam intros is by far the most informative one I've come across. Unlike others, it provides clear, actionable steps without leaving things open-ended and confusing. Great job!
Thank you so, so much! I'm so glad you found the video helpful :)
Well, she succeeded in getting my click, and then proceeded to regurgitate 50 million videos that already exist, so I guess she made her point
I Agree 100%
This is one of the best (and unexpected) 'How to succeed on UA-cam' videos that I've watched and rewatched in a LONG time! This video is pure gold. Full of value, actionable tips and so well put together! I can't wait to see the videos you have coming for the new year
You KILLED IT with this video. Way to go. Stoked to see what you do next. Will be following your channel’s journey for sure. 🙌
Ahhhh thank you! Welcome to the journey :)
Really trying make the best video I can, every time
Your videos are SO GOOD omg thank you so much for all the effort you put in❤
Thank you UA-cam for recommending this video to me - finally the algorithm is doing it's job properly!
This is literally GOLD! So much value! Thank you Aprylline 💙
Ahh thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it :)
This is too wonderful ❤️
I was actually feeling like I was in a class listening to my teacher explain this clearly with perfect examples.
Keep going!
Wow, thank you so much! This is such high praise 🥹 I'm so happy you like the video
You are so authentic and kind, which makes your videos even more enjoyable to watch :). Keep it up!
This video will blow up. At least 500k views, I'm already predicting.
Your video answers a highly demanded question, and also keeps delivering informatiom from start to finish without a break. I guess that's the overall approach of most of the youtubers
Wow, thank you! Crossing my fingers haha
I totally agree! Very informative and concrete! Not just blah blah, thank you from a new subscriber!
Well looks like she’s about to hit 500k 🎉
Now over 800,000!
900k+ almost at a mill
This is an incredible video!
Well done.
Your lighting, your editing, the quality of information. I’m inspired!!!
I will re-watch this as you have assimilated a lot of information and packaged it very well!
I was Surprised to see that your only
Currently on 1000 subs, I am very confident you will smash through 500,000+ in the near future. This is the quality you are projecting!
Wow, thank you so, so much for the kind words and encouragement!! Really trying to make the best videos possible. I'm so glad you liked it!
Incredible Aprilynne, thank you! Especially for the downloadable graphic!
Such a well made video. Nicely done
Thank you so much Taylor! That means a lot, coming from you :)
Same. Adding these tips to my process to make sure I don't forget them for each video.
Hey Craig! Crazy seeing you out here in the wild. How is the handstand progress?
Subscribed to you 🥰
new channel here - just started two months ago - and this world is a beast. so grateful that channels and videos like this exist - thank you so much!
This is one of the best UA-cam compliments I have ever received, thank you!!
@@AprilynneAlter thanks for creating the great content you do
Have recently subscribed to your channel and find it so useful as a freelance UA-cam video editor and a person who is interested in creating educational content on UA-cam myself.
Ahh thank you so much!! I really, really appreciate it :)
It's amazing that you're so able to add such valuable insight when so many how-to-UA-cam videos out there talking about titles and thumbnails. The details you provide are so valuable and really set you apart from other how-to channels that are much bigger in subscriber count Thank you.
As a content creator, this is by far one of the most helpful videos I’ve seen. You just gave me the key pieces I need to help evaluate my own intro and content. I didn’t realize how important those first few seconds were, and more importantly now I know WHY they are important and HOW to improve my methods. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to try these out.
I've watched 1,000's of videos for content creators. This is one of the best I've seen. Not only talking about what to do, but actually implementing the strategy. Thank you for making this!
You put your heart and soul into this video and it DID take off! And you deserve it too!
You're so right, I do sometimes (often) think ''THIS video is the one that will go high in views'' and then I get 80 views 😏
UA-cam IS hard but it wont stop me from publishing week after week and improving each time.
Keep at it! We are not alone on this journey 😀😘
Subscribed to you🥰 I’ve just started out and struggling to get subscribers but enjoying content creating so going to keep going❤️👏🏼💫
Brilliant video! Awesome and beautiful thumbnail. You are so talented and smart Aprilynne! Thank you so much!!!
I actually hadn't even realized that my best video on my channel was because I followed these steps without realizing it. Now I have a template I didn't have before THANK YOU!!!
Ahhh this is amazing!! So glad I was able to help haha
I just realized that some of the best music videos are mostly successful in views because their first 5 seconds are so good and high quality, and though the music industry is very different to the others, this was helpful, because I just realized how important those first 5 seconds are
Getting specific into particular industries/niches is so interesting!
Just started my youtube channel 2 years ago and barely posting that much anymore but ever since I watched this video, I have been feeling motivated to follow these steps and make videos the right way, thank you for the tutorial!
I'm surprised to see such high-quality content with such low channel views! Your channel will definitely grow with this.
Aw, I really appreciate it! Thanks so much :)
Muchas gracias por tus valiosos consejos! 🙏❤️
*You are just amazing I am completely flattered hats off to your dedication(and patience) while editing this video*
Haha, thank you! I truly gave it my all, and I'm so, so happy to see that others enjoy the video
Ahhhh yay!!! That makes me SO happy to hear, thank you for sharing 💙
Wow! This far exceeded my expectations and I'll be applying what I learned from you to my next videos. Thank you for providing so much value. Here's to making small improvements with each upload!
You got this!! So glad you enjoyed the video :)
I used this video as an inspiration for my video (charisma) and it was a HUGE help. I watched it probably over a 100 times and always discovered something new! Thank you so much Aprilynne
Wow, I'm so glad you found this video helpful!! 💙
@LilyGazou Yea good point. I try not to ask for subs either. I find that providing value in the comments and responding to questions is helpful.
You rock girl! I have watched all your videos! You will blow in a short time because your content is so amazing!🤩
Ahh, thank you so much! I really, really appreciate it :)
I LOVE this video so much! I rewatch it every time I'm ready to make another intro and I feel as though it's improved my videos by a lot!
This was one of the most useful video on the topic. This was also the first one during that I made actual notes, which means a lot! 😁 So all I want to say is: thank you! ☺I will follow this guideline as much as I can in my next videos.
You perfectly demonstrate how a small channel with a banger video can succeed, keep up with the great work! I learned a lot from this awesome example
I'm so glad you liked the vid! Thanks so much :)
I can't believe how much i learned from this! I can totally see all the effort you put into this video. Incredible! I'm ramping up my youtube videos after a few years of being on and off with my channel. This video has given me some clear steps to the best process of making my videos! Here are my notes:
1. Get a great idea
2. Come up with title people cant pass up on
3. Create / sketch thumbnail idea before video creation
4. Plan out the first 5 / 10 / 30 seconds of the intro of the video
- Restate the title
- Show visual matching thumbnail
- Provide context (why am i building local bike trails?)
- exceed expectations by surprising viewers with even more reason to watch - (Tell them the amount of effort you put into this video)
This is great. Hope you get to 1k soon. Love the effort you put into these videos, Well done.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much Giovanni! I really appreciate it - I've been prioritizing quality recently, and I'm glad that comes across!
Impressive you have so many subscribers with only one video, Tim👍
Learning about youtube is a rabit hole it's keep getting deeper and deeper.
Omg yes
Fr😅
100%, that's why we just have to stop watching and DO our own video 💪🏻
Thank you for sharing Aprilynne! I found this to be such a good reminder on making a killer intro. I feel like I’ve started to implement some of these, but having this all in one compact video was awesome for a refresh!!!
wow the editing on this video.... stunning! I would love a tutorial on the whiteboard type animations that you did! They were awesome!
Haha, a few people have requested that! I'll add that to my list :)
I’d sub just for that lol great work!
Please add it to your list! 🤎@@AprilynneAlter
When I was a kid, all I wanted was to have a career that pays well so I can buy whatever I want but now that I’m grown up and went through tons of setbacks from losing tons of people in my life, getting lost in the world with full of life traps, being ridiculed for pursuing my dreams, and so on, I can say that long-lasting happiness can’t be bought or earned because it comes from within us.
This was so helpful. Thank you. Really gives perspective
Aprilynne, SO GOOD! I'm touched by the description shoutout haha, you're amazing
OH MY GOSH JON thank you so, so much!! Your videos are truly incredible - I've learned so much from you!! So happy to see you back UA-cam again ❤️ can't wait to see what you're cooking up next
Funny thing, she just proved her tricks by making her killer video
💙💙
Your videos are above and beyond. The script, the editing, the resources, the research, you deserve every ounce of success you get.
Love the break down and logic that went into this video. I've heard channels talk about title and thumbnail first 1,000 times, but never with this level of detail/importance. It brings a new perspective that can relate to *any* channel, not just the hyper trend ones. Thank you :)
Ahh I'm so glad I was able to put the information in a way you understand! Thanks for watching, and thank you for the kind words :)
I especially liked the part when you said "if you enjoy the process, you've already won" 😌 minute 11:10
It's so true! Nothing else matters if you don't enjoy the process :)
I get so tired of endless UA-cam tutorials. This is the very first time I’ve watched, enjoyed, kept, and given a 👍 Thank you!!
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
01:09 🧠 Craft a compelling title and thumbnail (TNT) before creating your video, as viewers decide to watch based on these elements.
🎯 Tips:
🚨 If you're reading this, don't stop. Be patient - you're just one step away from huge success! 💪🔥🚀
Thank you!💜
Thanks!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much Holly! ❤
@@AprilynneAlter no thank you! I'm just starting out on my third channel attempt and this was great information
I'm researching info on how to start a youtube channel rn, and i gotta tell you, your advice is one in a million, dozens of channels (even bigger ones!) i went through don't bother with so much details as you. thank you so much for great value
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it :)
New subscriber here. Thank you Aprilynne for explaining it at a pace and kindness of tone that allows beginners like us to understand these concepts without feeling so overwhelmed.
I cannot tell you how HELPFUL this video has been for me. It has made YT content creation so much more fun and exciting for me. Thank you for taking the time to do the research and put together this FIRE framework! I appreciate you! 🙏🏽
your’re awesome, this is the best video on how to make yt videos i saw so far. amazing! thank you.
This is incredibly well made!!!
This video is beautifully crafted and so are you ✨
this helped soooo much! ive never thought of thumbnail and title first. it's game changing
I can't remember the last time I watched a video so jam-packed with useful info. I'm about to dive into youtube to help with my business and I can't wait to watch more of your videos. Thank you!!
One of the most helpful vids I've ever seen on UA-cam. Simply WOW! I spent an hour taking notes, unpacking your lessons and examples, looking at how they applied to other popular videos. Liked, subscribed, and even texted link to this video to a good friend. Keep up the amazing work! I'm excited to see what else you've put out there, and what you'll be posting in the future. Thanks!!!!!
Wow, this video really breaks down the art of creating a killer UA-cam intro in such a detailed and comprehensive way! The emphasis on the importance of nailing the title and thumbnail right from the start is eye-opening. I never realized how crucial those first few seconds are in capturing the audience's attention and setting the tone for the entire video. And the insights into creating curiosity gaps, providing context, and leveraging input bias are incredibly valuable. I'll definitely be applying these tips to my own channel. Thanks for sharing this insightful breakdown...
I just did all this on accident wow!!! Now I see why my video is performing I needed to see this thank you 🙏🏾
First, I LOVE the information you share in this video.
Second, I took a screenshot of your current subscriber count as I subscribed, because I’m convinced it won’t be long when you have a couple million subs, and I can say “I’ve followed ApriLynn since she had 32k subs”!
Thank you for this! I can already say you’ve shared info I needed YEARS ago!
Absolutely gorgeous video! The ending made me tear up! Oiii I loved everything about this video. Thank you!
Wow Aprilynne, this sounds like absolute YT gold! I'll be using this for my first video, this all sounds so logical and useful. Thanks a lot!
Enormously helpful, thank you! I took tons of notes and a few screenshots. You are so good at this!!!
This is the second video I have seen of yours and it’s AMAZING!! So helpful and straight to the point. I am going to try to apply these tips to my vlogs as much as I can in a way that makes sense. 🤞🏼
