I just picked one up today, that was the first thing I did was change the hooks!! Place I fish has a lot of bluegill, little bit of minnows, & no shad. Never threw bluegill colors, so this is new 😁😁

More proud to see it work witch it did and correcting to my next measures of my big fish because the bottom increased depth and like some say sea weed and mossy bottoms can foul the lure action as well as to deep. Bill my self is vary happy with not being to deep to not explore the fine bottom and letting my next kit get big fish and one bigger. 4 cm slower might be a good ideal with bill dance ex-caliber on my next big cast.
I am fishing that exact same crankbait in y 42 acre lake and the bass are real slow about hitting it. The lake is full of small baitfish. Have you ever seen this situation where the fish are slow about hitting them?
michael shoffner you're doing something wrong. Switch up the retrieve speed, the colour, or the lure itself. There are 100s of crankbaits on the market, it's literally a sickness when you start stocking crankbaits, it never ends 😂

i noticed you use a spinning reel with alot of crank baits. Is there a distinct advantage for using these over a baitcaster?
my 5 year old grand daughter was "fishing" in the creek using her barbie pole, she actually caught a fish!!!! i think she was as amazed as we were!!!
