Nice amp and crossover location. I had a similar setup and with the amp raised up from the bottom there was no breathing room for it and it over heated during a long drive. It worked much better after I cut a hole in the false floor trunk piece and dressed it with a piece of plumbing grate.
Very nice video and great job clean job! Would it be possible to provide the name of the used components in the video description? Would be great to Also, how did you do the wiring, I heard that you should not use the same way for the voltage cables from the batterie as for the audio cable, because you could hear interfering noise on the speakers. So you would split up the cable from left to right side Did you encounter any problem with that and how did you do the cable management? Kind regards from Germany!
Good morning sir epic video I really enjoyed it. I'm just wondering if installing sound deadening materials increases the sound experience or not because I really love this car
Hey I know there's a good chance that you don't reply, but I was wondering: With the wiring harness with the tweeter and the woofer. You said you snipped the loop to get the full range signal and used the other 2 wires to connect to the woofer. When you're saying you're connecting them to the woofer; you're saying that it is being connected to the amp correct? as the wiring from the first harness comes out the back through the OEM wiring down to the door. Correct?
I have a 2023 BRZ Limited that I am in the process up upgrade the audio system and what it to look stock. Could you tell me what DSP you are using in your set up. Also I am looking at the Massive Audio 3 way component and the CT Sound Mesa 3 way components. Have you used both. Look for sound quality and not loud.
Pity you are nowhere near us as I would be getting you to install our new system once we get our BRZ in a couple of months, the stock stereo is the only thing negative about this awesome car!
Like toyota supra is a bmw. Like lexus is a toyota. Like infinity is a nissan. Etc etc what’s your point? Hell, if you go far enough many components are made by same company in japan or china, sourced out, and badged/engraved in either the assembly line or by the parts manufacturer. So, nothing is fully made by a single company.
And actually on this car is both, both manufacturers have their technology shared to build this car. (Engine and everything). Can’t say the same for the supra except for the suspension system.
Finally something that isn’t just OEM + Audio. Been looking to see how someone would add that 3” speaker
Where are you located? Do you do installs for anyone?

So I guess this is the brz premium (subaru's base model) which is why there was no speaker on the dash besides the tweeter.
Great video, just subscribed!

Great DIY video!

What DSP unit did you use?
this is exactly what im doing to mine
Your amazing * great work ……👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🇺🇸✊🏽
Why you think it’s actually a Toyota? That car is a Subaru and so is the GR86. Bought are built on the same assembly line at Subaru in Japan.
The head unit should have RCA out's... I have no idea why you would use high level inputs from the speakers for a horrible signal.
It's a Subaru , buts actually a SUBARU . Both the Toyota GR86 and the BRZ are made in the Subaru Factory !
