Yeah, you're one of the most excellent car youtubers around. Mostly because of your hands on mechanic stuff, but also you're lighthearted sense of humor.
You did a great job explaining this car and the comparison to GR86. It seems that it's going to be a personal preference for many for which to buy. You've also shown how cars can be a lot of fun to drive without having massive power or a high price tag. Love the new scoreboard effects. You keep things fresh and filled with anticipation.
I have a 2016 BRZ and a couple of months after I bought it new I installed an Eldelbrock eForce supercharger that doubled the stock HP (it's now 300 HP w/ 93 oct, tuned by DDPR of Texas) and totally changed the car from a 'nice' car to one that was an awesome daily driver and now a fun track car. NOTE that the supercharger replaces the intake manifold so no shoehorned turbocharger problems. I have no intention of ever getting rid of this fun car, so although I'm interested in how the car has matured, I'll stick with my supercharged roller skate. Racecar spelled backwards is racecar because racecar
@@On2thakneppz1 raised it of course but I actually don't remember what it peaked at at the moment. It did basically eliminate / reduce the dip that engine is notorious for into insignificance. It's still not going to do burnouts well on launch control, because when you try the RPM drops badly and you get a bit of bogging so it's never going to be a dragster BUT if you get even 1 MPH rolling on a fast launch then floor it it accelerates MUCH more strongly than a stock car. Very pleasing. Note that I've got wider tires so it would spin tires with stock width but with the wider wheels / tires installed for better track handling it does not. Actually if I'm running alcohol it does have more HP n torque but I've basically stopped running Flex fuel or alcohol and just run 93.

Hey Sarah! Thanks for a great review. I bought this car (in ignition red) earlier this year and I drive it often without the music or radio on just to clear my head. It is my daily driver that keeps me sane :) Keep on doing what you are doing - great work!
This is remarkably like the Audi TT: large frameless doors with no B pillars which give large field of view over left shoulder; rear seats for kids or short journeys, provide enough space for normal driving detritus, foldable to create large trunk space. Questions: Does the head unit offer wireless, bluetooth connections for Android Auto? Does the turn signal stalk return to neutral automatically after the turn is completed? Does it come with a spare tire or space to fit one?
this is probably the most entertaining car review i’ve ever seen on youtube. i love how sarah can crack those jokes unexpectedly and i love it… keep it up sarah, we love you ♥︎
Still impressive production values. Sarah hasn't let the quality slip thank goodness. Watching other channels TFL with staff upon staff TFL with less effort editing and camera shots TFL put into many their videos, really makes me appreciate Sarah's efforts.

I’m actually glad I didn’t see this review until now a couple of years after. It shows how you have maintained your great sense of humour but slightly upgraded your presentation. Love it.
BTW, someone squeezed a 2JZ-GTE (inline 6, tuned to 737hp) into 2014 BRZ (and then sold it on Cars&Bids). That surely raised that car's center of gravity and made it quite playful at the rear end.
I don’t know about y’all, but I would rather have a tight grippy rear end over one that is loose and will step out quicker. I want a car that can hold tight curves not one I have to hold back because it’s all over the place. It looks like a great car and one I would love to be inside of. Keep up the great work Sarah.

I can see myself having a ton of fun with this car. My dad used to have a '90 MX-5 which I felt a little too cramped for my height. I had a '89 240 SX and the two of us used to have a ton of fun chasing each other around. @13:04 my Camaro has more room than that & it has no room . You can put stuff back there & lay down the seats & put big stuff in the trunk into the flat back seat area . I like the BRZ Very Cool !!
Thanks for the review and I enjoyed the format and of course the reviewee! Over my life I have driven numerous makes, models and types of vehicles including several race cars of varying types and bang for buck the BRZ is an excellent car.Almost all Suba's use tzhe flat four motor for the last 20 or so years and the all wheel drive is very durable. For handling it is very well ballanced due to suspension geometry and the flat four being mounted low and as far back as possible from the front so driving it and felling the road is a pleasure. I have owned several Subaru's over the decades and always was impressed how well they last and perrform. More horsepower isn't always the answer unless you are on a racetrack

Sarah, thank you for saying “the lack of fun colors”. Fun cars like this need to be offered in fun colors to match their personality. Awesome review for a great car, well done Sarah. But I'd pass on this & buy a Miata ND2 RF. There is nothing like a convertible sports car/roadster. I know, I owned one. Besides, I don't think that boxer motor will hold up to abuse as well as a Mazda. The Boxer has a spotty reliability record.

It is an interesting car, but I would wait for this generation's version of the performance package, with better dampers and brakes (Brembo calipers) with wider rims. Also waiting to see if they work out the engine assembly bugs.
What do you think of Toyota rejecting their warranty on the Toyota GR86 engine because the owner was shown on social media drifting the car? Car had less than 20,000 miles, apparently these engines get oil starved.

hello ; I'm 67 and always dream to be a Lotus type 74 Europa boomer
@@fugawiaus Ok Tom! I'm 61, since it's time to show off our cars. Porsche 911 2010 (997.2), BRZ tS 2020 (because of Sarah), and a Subaru Forester XT 2017 (again, because of Sarah)... No catchup to do ;)

So happy to see you, Artificial Scientist! It's been a lousy day but it just got better. Thank you so much
Hi Sarah,
What No Meatballs! Awesome review. Appears you really love the BRZ. Looking forward to next review. Thanks for your service. You and Charlie stay safe.
I love your sense of humor Sarah!!
Sarah's editing skills are becoming, what the kids say nowadays, "fire".
Personally, I think they're the bomb.
Beautiful girl and nice looking car. I think the rear seats are like a Porsche. It's so they can call it a 4 seater for insurance premiums. Thank you for your time.
It is an interesting car, but I would wait for this generation's version of the performance package, with better dampers and brakes (Brembo calipers) with wider rims.
Also waiting to see if they work out the engine assembly bugs.
Great review, Sarah! I like your new final cut review effects! I like the your sound effect even more. Keep up your great work!
What do you think of Toyota rejecting their warranty on the Toyota GR86 engine because the owner was shown on social media drifting the car? Car had less than 20,000 miles, apparently these engines get oil starved.
No one can compare when Sarah is there !!!!!!
You were in primo mode on this video. Chef's kiss.
You are lovely Sarah. That is all. Love the vids. Entertaining and perfectly nerdy.
I am guessing that someone had as much fun making this review video as we did watching it lol
Thanks for a great video Sarah have fun take care
Sarah ur silly lol. Anyway I finally picked my gr86 up last Monday. It rips! And yes i got the 6 speed manual! Great review on its equally fun counterpart.
Vanna White has met her equal! You make any car sexier Sarah, great review💕😎💕
Everyone else talked about feel. You showed us why the BRZ and GR86 are different. Nice job!
Welcome people of the interwebs, I love it ,keep the videos coming Sarah!!!!
Why I watch you is an immensely complicated thing, but the best part is how you continually improve your presentation, tiny little changes, so there is always a gradually better reason to watch next time.
