Hi Coily Diaries 🙋🏽‍♀️Glycerin is so amazing for moisture (as you already know). I prefer to mix A LITTLE into product (or buy products with small amounts of glycerine) just because I tend to sweat on my hands, so the glycerine will hold the moisture on my hands. It’s actually such a weird feeling 😆 And tbh, I’m lazy about washing product off my hands, so I can’t say I’m always on friendly terms with glycerine. But yeah, great in the moisture department. I have a detangler, that i wash off, and it contains glycerine. Excellent product.
My favorite sealant is olive oil.

I DID NOT HAVE GO OUTCOME USING THE GLYCERIN AND WATER( WATER WAS FILTERED SPRING WATER) AND SEALING WITH JOJOBA, ARGAN, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL OR AVACADO AND A LITTLE CASTOR OIL(BECAUSE IT'S SO THICK) MIX BUT, MY HAIR WAS STILL FEELING DRY, IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME. I JUST USE THE SPRING FILTERED WATER AND MY OIL MIX AND IT WORK BETTER FOR ME MY HAIR CURLY AND LOSER COIL HAIR. TWISTING IMMEDIATELY WHE FINISHED IS KEY FOR ME UNLESS I AM DOING A AFRO WHICH IS LOOSER IN COILS NOW AND CURLS SINCE USING BROWN RICE AND CORN STARCH TREAMENT, MY THIRD TIME USING THAT TREATMENT I OPTED FOR NOT USING CURLY HAIR CONDITIONER THAT SHIRNK HAIR BACK TO TIGHT CURL. ONE OF THE BEST HAIR CLENASER CONDITIONER I USED WAS CAMILLE ROSE CASHEW MILK AND ORANGE BLOSSON A TOTAL SULFATE AND OTHER DAMAGING CHEMICAL FREE HAIR CLEANSERS AND ELONGATES THE HAIR STRAND--- SO NICELY( BUT, IT'S BEEN HARD TO FIND NOW) BUT, GOOD MOISTURE IS VERY KEY FOR CURLY HAIR, EVEN WHEN I USED JUST JOJOBA OIL ALONE MY HAIR LOVES IT AND FEEL SO TOTALLY MANAABLE AND CAN PUT A COMB STRAIGHT THROUGH IT, NO SNAGS, CRACKLING (WHICH OUR HAIR SHOULD NOT BE DOING IF MOSITURES AND DETANGLES WELL.
THE SEASONS FOR HAIR CAN BE A CHALLEGE, I DO NOT USE CASTOR OIL IN THE SUMMER BECAUSE OF THE HEAVINESS BUT, OILS THAT PENETRATE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HAIR SHAFT.😊
