Hey beautiful people, in this video I show you my start to finish hair growth routine for optimal growth! If you:

🌟Have hair that constantly breaks off no matter what you do?
🌟You don’t have a set hair routine and make it up as you go along?
…this simple routine is for you.
(SAVE THIS FOR WASH DAY!)
Steps below 👇🏾
0️⃣If high porosity do a hot oil treatment before shampoo if low porosity skip to next step.
1️⃣Shampoo with Hair Growth Shampoo (ominiranaturals.com/collectio...) and Massaging brush (sections of 4) (packed with so many potent herbs that nourish, strengthen and stimulate hair regrowth)
2️⃣Finger detangle in those sections gently with Tangle Slayer(ominiranaturals.com/collectio..., rewetting to activate the conditioner.
3️⃣Squeeze out excess water, apply Deep Conditioner (ominiranaturals.com/collectio...) into smaller sections minimum 20 minutes. For Low Porosity use a steam cap to optimise moisture penetration 💦
4️⃣Rinse, Apply Leave in Conditioner (ominiranaturals.com/collectio...) in sections of 6
5️⃣Proceed to stretched hair style. Blow out with my trusty rev air on speed 7 heat 1 until my hair is 95% dry. Link for RevAir 👉🏾 MyRevAir.com/janetdavies use my code JANETDAVIES for 💰 off
6️⃣ Finger detangle, brush through
7️⃣Blow out on speed 7 heat II for 10 secs max to get my hair stretched
8️⃣Apply Hair Strengthening Oil ominiranaturals.com/collectio... to seal.
9️⃣ Apply Extra Strength Hair Growth Potion (ominiranaturals.com/products/...) to my hairline/areas of concern.
🔟Wear braids as a protective style, release after a minimum of 4 days.
Try this every 2 weeks and just see how much length you will retain. 💫

Absolutley no lies told, you're a 100% right -- keeping my hair in a stretched state has caused it to grow tremendously like it never has before!
Honestly 💕💕
I thought I was crazy. I couldn’t understand why my hair felt better stretched. I was starting to doubt myself. Thank you for sharing your routine 🥰

You're so right, shampooing our hair is actually underrated. Literally the shampoo step is the most important step to hair growth. Our hair grows from the scalp and a clean scalp leads to healthy hair growth from our scalp. So we all must take shampooing very important if we really want to grow a healthy hair. Thank you so much for this video.
Shapoo is very important but I would say the most important is moisturizing cause if the hair grows without moisture it will break off.
Very much so. It is important. However, your internal health (hormones) are the foundation to hair growth and health. If your body is experiencing imbalances, your hair will show it.
That was.... my biggest fear 😦
It means no matter what I'll do, I'll always have fragile hair 💔
Fr its like cleansing your skin. People with acne who wonder why it won't go away try increasing the amount of time for cleansing your skin. You can use so many acne products but if your skin isn't clean then it defeats the purpose. Sis is spot on 👏
I’ve heard the opposite washing hair too much causes damage because you’re stripping it of natural oils etc
Washing the scalp is literally the greatest tip to grow healthy hair fast
So true when I was washing my hair every week. Applying deep conditioners and protein treatments. Grew my hair 17 inches in 6-months I didn't know about wide tooth combs or anything at that time so you're right Queen!!!
I watch your videos 😄

@@shanequaaustin8908 17 inches in 6 months honestly sounds like a lie. That should not be possible.
@@Ayla.a7a definitely a lie lol. I read that & was like what??
@@Saditty Exactly! 😂 I was trying to be gentle with the ‘like a lie’. I know damn well that’s impossible, unless there’s some kind of enchanted hair growth elixir she’s made. That’s the length of a ruler plus an extra 5 inches, in 6 months, lmao.
Just a little tip for shampooing your hair I learned in hair school. You could save a lot of money by shampooing the first time really good then Try using about a dime or nickel size amount of shampoo the next shampoo process You should get a good lather because your hair is clean from the first shampoo process.
Thanks for sharing!!
the nail part was the realest thing Ive heard in any videos I've watched. I cannot tell you how many times I've damaged my nails AND hair just because of jagged nail bits.

Great video!🤩 my hair is 3a, but my little sisters’ hair is 4c and i’ve been obsessed with caring for their hair for years now. One thing she showed but didn’t mention that makes a HUGEEEE DIFFERENCE : HOLD YOUR COMB VERTICALLY WHEN BRUSHING. This will make brushing out your hair 1000000 times easier, regardless of your hair texture!

First hair care routine where I see they actually clip their nails. Such an overlooked step that I stand by. Also removing all jewelry before getting in the shower to avoid hear snagging.

I realized I was making this mistake of yes doing stretched styles, but not putting it back in braids or twists. This caused tangles! I swear I was gonna give up yesterday but this video came on my feed and I’m gonna try again! 🫶🏽✨ your hair is beautiful btw! 😍
Thank you my lovely 🥰, glad it came on time
I love watching these videos. They’ve helped my hair grow so much. I never knew my hair could get so thick and long.

Thanks for the hair treatment info; will use it next time I try the transition, again! 😁
I ❤️ how you are SUPER GENEROUS with the conditioner!!!
The caption of this video had me interested. The opening Scripture had me subscribing 🙌🏽❤️.
Yeah, people make their decisions giving importance to the wrong aspect a lot, you are not the only one.
I can appreciate you opening you video with a scripture. Your hair is outstanding.
I'm upper mid back length, pray that "I" can get it growing.
Thanks
Yessss for the scripture! Your tips are awesome as well. I particularly love the tips to clip your nails and stretch your hair. My hair is down my back (thanks to stretched styles) but my nails tend to catch on my hair. I normally just break my nail off when it does, but it makes so much more sense just to cut it beforehand. 😅🤦🏾♀️ Thanks, Janet!
THANK YOU! Never even thought about filing my nails down before washing. Great tip for folks with the same problem and don't have any gloves handy
Yes! Cos my nails be playing with me
Use the finger pads not nails the nails will scrape the scalp
@@stoneyhighhigh3677 I definitely have to use my nails, lightly, to get the buildup of dirt and products and flakes off my scalp. When I or anyone else uses only the pads of their fingers and no comb or anything else to get the buildup off my scalp, it stays on there. I don’t do it hard though, just enough to lift everything up.
I use gloves!
I grew my hair out from barely shoulder length (when straight) hair to below bra length (stretched) years ago and it has STAYED at that same length every since. Back then I mostly learned about moisture, deep conditioning and hot oil treatments and protective styles, but I never put two and two together that the protect styles not only help your ends but they keep your hair fairly tangle free which is so important for avoiding breakage. I will definitely be incorporating stretching into my hair regimen to help my hair and supporting you by buying your products!
Well done
So smart to fle your nails FIRST! BRILLIANT!!!
Oh look. Next hair care line I’m trying out 🥰 I’m excited
Hi Janet, thanks for listing all the steps in the video and products, Im going to try it. Your hair is amazing

I agree with everything you say and your hair is GORGEOUS!! I normally use Aussie Moist conditioner for detangling because I love the slip, and deep conditioning is definitely my fav part of my hair routine!!🥰

U mean stretch like braids?
@@taylorsara1237stretch it with heat.
Here for the inspirational scripture at the intro!! AMEN SIS!!!
First, let me say that I love your channel and I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding haircare. Watching this particular video keeps me grounded and reminds me why I do not want very long hair. I want to be free. To have hair that long and have to wear protective styles just to keep it, is not worth it to me. I texlax my hair to loosen my natural curls and my hair looks great. I also flat iron it (following your advice on keeping hair stretched) on low heat. The results have been amazing. I initially had some breakage but that is because I didn't use the heat protectors and I didn't know how to flat iron. I do now and my hair is flourishing. Again, a lot of it is thanks to you.
Subscribed right away when I saw the verse. Bless you❤
This video was very educational, Ms. Janet. I learned a lot from watching.

Hi Janet, thanks for the hair washing and straightening prep video.
I'm a natural girl...so I'm always looking for ways to care for my hair...I'm also on a hair growth journey...it's great to know when there are others going through the same process..keep the videos coming please.
Your hair is heavenly! I have tailbone length hair also but very thin stands as well as low density....how I woukd love thick hair like yours!
I love how she puts her hair on the shower wall!! I do the same thing😅
Very creative hair growth technique!
Wow, love everything about this video, including the music - what's the music if you don't mind? It's really great to see that we are having British black young women sharing the knowledge about growing long hair and maintaining it. I too have long 4C hair and love everything about it. It's not as long as yours but I'm working on the length and now find it easy to maintain. I also put my hair in twists but a really gorgeous style - a pony tail at the very top and then two plaits on each side and looks hip. I just use Blue Dax, a concoction of oils that I like to use and the hair mayonnaise mainly. I do sometimes use other things now and again but those are my main routine. I would never have thought my hair and texture would be soft feeling on my neck and envious to the eye. My hair use to be short, hard, course on my neck and just awful due to lack of knowledge so I use to have it texturised, back in the days beads, perm and sometimes wigs (which I only did for a bit because putting something on your head to replace your own natural hair is like you might as well go bald - like how some people are OK with caked makeup frankly - although don't want to judge) It's great that there's a growing community of black women appreciating their own hair and no need to ever go back to weaves, perms and certainly never a wig. Your video was long but interesting all the way, good illustrations and tips. All these Miche products etc that are new and claim to be some sort of break though are rubbish from US. Tried it and cost £26 for a normal size jar - thank heavens I saw an African video about Blue Dax and tried it and worked a treat. None of this extortionately overpriced taking advantage of black women just cos we've never had the investment in research or backing for over 100 years from these big companies which is a privilege to have. Sometimes simplicity is best and look to those that are not expecting your income to go all towards it! Thank you for your sharing.
Oh man i really hope this does me some justice. I recently did a big chop cause my hair was a broken.Thank you sister for your advice 👏🏾🖤🔥✌🏾
I'm doing a big chop too for the first time in more than 11 yrs
@@pamelanonya377 you know it's not that bad once you get use to it growing back. My hair has grown out and I'm loving it ✌🏾🖤🥰. Just don't let other people's shallow options get to you.
I totally agree, I finger detangle first before using a comb. I make my own detangling conditioner with 4 ingredients from my kitchen, my coconut cream conditioner (equal parts of extra virgin coconut oil, coconut milk, plain nonfat yogurt and avocado oil.. depending on scalp and hair needs I may add some aloe juice, organic honey and or extra virgin olive oil) leave it on the hair for atleast 30 min with cap, then rinse out well before washing the hair. I do everything before the wash the detangling, clip ends while moisturizing, once washed the hair is super shiny & moisturized from the oils. I also keep aloe juice, peppermint & rosemary oils in a water bottl. I do the same for my son hair which make it easy for him to wash his own hair in the shower without the tangles
Wow!!!💞😳 it is very good to learn how to shampoo our hair for the life of our hair ,I will do it for best results I see from you, thank alot sister ✨🙏

Do you know the name of the products?
@@mimoesh9467 They're in the description.
If you have products that work for you/have slip I would just stick with those though. It's really all about the actual technique. Most of length retention is lost due to breakage from delangling I've notices. More so if you have fine 4c hair like me.
I am Super inspired !! 🤩 Definitely purchasing these products and adding this routine to my hair growth journey. Thank you 💛

My concern is I believe stretching too much caused me to lose some of my natural curl pattern, so now I've got butt length hair, but it's not textured enough to do the styles I like & used to do when my hair had more volume and coil to do it. My daughters have mid-back length hair in its shrunken state, & I only use heat on it sparingly to do styles that require their curls to be stretched, but I'm cautious not to overstretch their curls that are so pretty and bouncy. Afro-descendant coily hair is rare with a unique beauty whereas every other group has predominately straight hair (curls come from afro/Black genetics & the anamoly of euro descendant/ white individualswho have curly hair and multiracial groups who have curly or wavy hair obtain it from a historical admixture through afro/ Black people in their ancestry). I value the uniqueness of our curls that is so gorgeous when properly hydrated and cared for.
Have you considered stretching your hair using heatless methods? I like to stretch my hair with braids.
@@estheroluwalowo5792 It's not the method that's the point; it's that the stretching too often in itself can change or cause some of us to lose our natural curl pattern, especially those of us who already have a looser curl than 4b-4c hair types. Some people may not like their coils, so they want to lose their natural texture, but for those who do like their natural texture, they may not want to stretch too often.
Most blks in US. 80+ percent are NOT afro descendants at all they are the descendants of the blk aboriginal Indians who were always here. ( And most were blk) The 🏫 books have lied to us for yrs....

Great routine. Only thing about this video is the amount of shampoo and conditioner left on the scalp, double cleansing becomes redundant if we don’t rinse thoroughly. Definitely rushed through the rinsing process on this one, still lovely content and lovely outcome.
Probably take breaks between stretching the hair try braids or twists from time to time instead of constant banding or threading and definitely opt out of blow drying the roots too often (ie tension method) maybe three times a year if your curl pattern is something important to you. I hope this helps!
Ngl, this is definitely true. Years ago when I used to perm my hair, I would notice my hair would be growing vs now ( I’ve been over 5+ years natural ). That’s because my hair was always stretched aka straight.
