I just heard Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-sing this song that was written by Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs and it was an excellent version of this song you know Tom Petty can do no wrong with any song he sings but this song really does belong to Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs. For me there is more grit and rock to the song when this band performs this beautifully y well written song. And what a compliment to the Dirty Knobs for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to love this song enough to perform it Im one of their own concerts. Mike’s doing it he singing for Tom Petty and doing a fantastic job at keeping all these great fantastic songs a live with Mike Campbell ‘s unique, very clear and totally rockim vocals with this song. When I heard Tom Petty wanted to do this song it made me feel good about my self by Tom singing their song confirmed that I have great taste in music and musicians . Thank you to Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs , see you soon.!♥️🌞✌️
This is such a beautiful song . Mike is so INCREDIBLE! He’s a guitar genius! No one can touch him! Hes the best of the best! I love Mike Campbell so much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Killer version of this song. Also I’m a huge fan of The Last DJ record too. Always hidden gems on Tom’s records like this one, good to see the Knobs playing a song that was originally theirs lol.
I thought Mike and the D.K. did a wonderful job with Toms' song. I know I'm revealing my age when I say I would love to see Mike, Bobby, and others do one more " Mudcrutch " album! I loved them too.💋
I think we're all getting older!!!! I'm 64, 65 in Feb I am still rockin and always will. I listen only to rock and roll... Mike is way up there on my list. He makes pickin the guitar 🎸 Seem so effortless.....✌✌✌ And I would love to meet ......

One of my favorites from last dj. You sound really good Mike. Thank you for this ....I had fun listening to it. Waiting on you to come to the southeast coast some day soon.
Mike erweckt Tom erneut zum Leben, ja durch Mike lebt er der Tom Petty, einfach tolle Musiker und dazu Mikes Stimme.

Super Band !!!!👏👏👏🥁🎶🎸🎙
Fun fact about this song. It was initially a Dirty Knobs song but then Tom Petty heard it and they recorded it for their "Last DJ" LP
And I really like the music arrangement also
Toms name is listed as a writer with Mike? On the album.
I’ll be seeing these guys in my hometown in March. I can’t wait, love their music. Mike Campbell is a legend, like Tom. Long live rock and roll

Tom petty estaría orgulloso de que siguieran los heartbreakers contigo como vocalista Friend.
Lo mismo he dicho desde que agarró el micrófono con DK
🙂
If I didn’t know better I would have thought he wrote this during the COVID/Global reset lockdown.
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers lives in Mike Campbell. Something like that…. It’s like How David Gilmour was the guitar and sound of Pink Floyd…..
has a catch of "Beatles'' in it
Tom Petty still alive!!! Sorry, Mike..
Strepitosi Knobs
