    I made this today and after reading all the comments:
    Toast the Quinoa for a few minutes.
    If you rinse the Quinoa, use less than a cup of water. If not, the mixture will be runny.
    I made mine thin and crispy so cooked for about 20 minutes each side. Ate it with hummus and garlic cheese. Delicious!

After trying a few gluten-free vegan bread recipes from UA-cam I almost gave up but this one ☝🏼I’m going to stick with. Perfect for my taste buds and there is plenty of options to be creative with. Thank you so much. 🙏🏼

    I made this today with 1 cup quinoa and 1 cup water but it was watery so I added more quinoa. It was still a bit watery but it baked good and taste great. I did rinse quinoa first which was probably why it was watery. Next time doing it again with no rinse and going to start with half cup water and add the rest gradually. But I'm so thankful for recipes like this! I am fruit based but I do like some cooked food too. Just got to keep it clean gluten free. God bless! I subscribed :)

I also added Trader Joe's Everything Bagel Seasoning, yum. I also like it thin and crispy so I spread it as thin as possible and cook it a little less time.

      I would play it by eye...add some flour and then water a little at a time till you get that same pasty mixture. I would think 1/2 the amount since its a flour and maybe more water....But like I said water always a little at a time till you get the mixture how you like it

    I’ve just read somewhere else on another UA-cam vid that it’s best to soak the quinoa overnight to help digestion . Apparently the Phytons stop you from absorbing nutrients if you don’t soak . Thanks for the great recipe though 👍
    Maybe poppy seeds on top ?
    I don’t know what those other ones were. Going to try to find mushroom powder as well Ps in metric countries like mine ( Australia) it’s around 225 deg Celsius

    • @conniesrawsomekitchen
      @conniesrawsomekitchen  6 років тому +5

      Funny you say that... today believe it or not we are all gluten intolerant. We eat it because we love the taste of what we eat. But our bodies react better on whole foods. Wheat is not what it used to be it has changed structure leaving it hard on our bodies. If you try eating ancient grains you will see you will react differently....easier to digest. The problem is that they are also getting cross contaminated and soon those will not be as good as they were.

Gluten-free assume so many people and you provided a nice recipe. One suggestion though, you might consider editing your videos a little bit more so that there’s not so much dead space And the video moves along a little faster. I fast forwarded to at least 50% of your video. It was a little tedious to watch the information is great.
