  • Making the turbo diesel Volkswagen Beetle road worthy after a massive 6" + lift, in this video we used some doorman adjustable balljoints, some Euro Logic cv axle spacers, and other various parts to greatly improve the ride quality and make this thing safe for the road.

    Get a skid plate on that thing asap! Notice that the lowest point on the drive train is the oil pan... it's cast alloy and about 1mm thick. My TDI took a hit from a chunk of highway ice that took out the oil pan- that didn't end well. Use an old stop sign or whatever, but please protect that thing.

    Epic build! Been doing a very mild version of this on an mk4 golf here in Australia. It feels like I'm discovering a new channel right before it gets big :)
