I don't remember Russell's exact words, but in the documentary Edgar asked them for how long they could keep on doing this. Russell answered something about if medical science can make it possible, another 300 years was possible 😂! I love those guys!💖💖💖💖💖💖
I will be sorry to see them go they are amazing like you give them the elixir of life. Anyone who hasn’t listened to sparks is not sane. Just listen to the reaction to the crowd. Whenever they come here they sell out. SPARKS ❤❤❤
I have almost all their albums and singles and I am still finding new stuff. I recently found out that they did a sound track for a movie involving a fairground ride help. I love them ❤❤😂😂😂😂
Who’s writing music like this. Nobody. Why. Because they don’t know how. Thos is why Sparks are so unique and amazing. You only have to listen to the crowd they can’t get enough ❤❤❤❤

I'm from Brazil, and there's no chance to see them live here, unfortunately, BUT... I'll travel do London in a few days and by happy coincidence, they will be playing there. Already bought tickets. It's a dream coming true.
Anyone who has never watched or listened to sparks should really indulge. You may be surprised. Literally there is nothing like them out there. They are sublime. You should have realised by now I love them ❤❤❤❤
Ooh in cars it becomes a hit... and in your homes it becomes advertisements, and in the streets it becomes children singing ooh la la la la la *goosebumps*
I saw Sparks in 1975 in Philadelphia, performing at a Masonic Hall in support of their first LP. Five decades later they are sill with us and wonderful. I am happily gobsmacked,
Just curious, which album were they touring, because their 5th one, Indiscreet, was released in 1975. (They're touring this year on their 25th album being released in May!)
The fantastic concert filmed and featured on the bonus disc of The Sparks Brothers video release actually took place in May 2018 at the Kentish Town Forum in London :-) I was at that show - all the way from Melbourne, Australia :-)
This is a super grou. Phenomenal. Been here since early 70s and still here and still turning out great music genuinely great musicians . Hope they go on for years. Apparently good chefs too.
Sarks could possibly go down as one of the best groups ever. This album is brilliant. I have it on yellow rare and immaculate the tracks are all sinthesizer. And awsome. What a band through decades. And Russell’s voice is immaculate ❤❤❤❤
Thank you to whoever posted this is one of my favourite band. Absolutely enjoyed it. Sparks are amazing in there 70s and thankfully going strong incredible ❤❤❤
If there was any justice Sparks would have been the biggest band in the world for the last 50 years. Unfortunately they'll just have to make do with being the best.
I'm not sure how or why it works but when I'm emotionally stuffed and need a cry My Baby's Taking Me Home somehow is the key, magic juice whatever, but it always works. ❤
So pleased they didn't forget what 'Propaganda' did for them. I think they are better now that in 1974 and they were great then! Many bands have been influenced in some way by Sparks including the amazing Indochine and even the great David Byrne took some influence from them. One of the most underrrated bands of all time!.
Very few electronic bands can pull it off live. Amazing. Dont let them stop doing it... at 1:06:54 He did smile (I know he's having a fucking party in his head anyway) "Suburban Homeboys, with his suburban ho'" Silly boys.
You are probably right. If it does get removed, I will try to split this up into some briefer clips, otherwise, keep an eye out for more Sparks-related media on this channel in the future.
Honestly found the documentary a little boring which I know is an unpopular opinion especially amongst sparks fans but idk. This is a fantastic extra on the blu ray though a quality recording of a great modern day sparks show. One of my favourite bands ever been into them for around 15 years now but especially so over the last 2 or 3. Their albums from lil Beethoven have been fantastic too I'd say I rate the last 20 years of stuff as highly as the 1970-79 releases. Other than exotic creatures being a bit same-y and sometimes a bit tiring to listen to for me and losing a bit of interest in the FFS album (though I do still really like it) everything else has been excellent I think. Even the Ingmar Bergman album I love. Anyway. Love Sparks and I'm glad they finally seem to have got a lot of the recognition that they deserve ❤
For me the thrill is gone. They're still dear old friends, but… something's stale… it's not the same. Appreciated nonetheless the perfect rendition of This Town… Remembrance of my teenage years. Concert at Paris Olympia circa 1974…
I was personally a bit apprehensive about the new album because I felt Hippopotamus and A Steady Drip had a very similar sound, and the first single of The Girl is Crying in Her Latte sounded much like more of the same, leading me to think they might be running out of gas. I was really worried it would fall flat. In the end though, I was refreshed and satisfied with the final album. Although I see where you’re coming from, but in terms of this performance I thought it was brilliant - especially for their age. You can see how Russell’s voice warms up throughout.

Oui tout à fait, je ne connaissais pas Sparks et j'ai 56 maintenant je les écoute en continu.
Fabulous, timeless and so entertaining. They deserve all the applause in the world - I love them.
Love the animations, especially the waitometer! 😂
I'm seeing them in Toronto in July! I love Sparks!
I can't believe how much I enjoyed this concert. I can't believe how good they were. I can't believe I'm going to see them in Oxford in May. SPARKS!
This is as close to the perfect setlist you will get for this great band

Ces deux frères sont vraiment talentueux, et sympas. bravo !
They’ve been ploughing their own furrow so to speak since the early 1970’s……….and still sound amazingly good. Terrific band!!
That's just so good. I can't get enough of these guys. Pure joy.
One of thier best and again a brilliant videos they are just brilliant they never seem to amaze me. I will be sad when they’re gone 😂❤❤❤❤
Thank you. Great group.
These guys are totally unique, entertaining, talented & AMAZING!!!
The brothers have assembled a really tight band who look like they enjoy it as much as Ron and Russel
The drummer is phenomenal! No Dinky of course but he's bloody ace;
For 2 guys in their 70s their music is amazing may they live long 😊😊😊
Youre right when most people in their seventies are not capable..you ageist fk

I was there too. Russell looking fabulous in his Sgt Pepper coat & the band looked great in pink. Great years for Sparks. Albert Hall soon.....

Thanks for sharing this special huge band. I love Sparks❤❤❤❤❤
This town is as mysterious as ever with the enigmatic keyboard player!
I saw the same show in Antwerp, in June 2018 (there was no tour in 2021 due to Covid). Wonderful concert !

if you love music. Then you only stop when the Grim Reaper knocks on the Door.
Just great performance - they developed such a 'thing', especially here in UK!
Ronald's dance moment in TNOSIH is a joy 😄 I totally love Sparks.
What a set! They're on fire!
Been a fan since Kimono in 74 theyve never let me down and never will
Brilliant concert!

Seeing them in Wolverhampton soon.... I am salivating.
The energy he has is unbelievable ho russ😮😮😮
I missed them coming to Belfast. Gutted. I had friends that went that knew NOTHING of their music, now they’re huge fans

Amazing how good they sound after 50 odd years, this track still somehow sounds futuristic weirdly?
How am I just now finding this band?
Better late than never!
You must be young!
And just by the way Russell can still hit the high notes awesome 😮😮😮
Hey Russell - you were right first time, the ‘z’ in Ibiza is lisped (Ibitha) in mainland Spanish, PLEASE reinstate it!
Unbeliavable, they are born -45 and -48;)

Ron with his trademark dance. Doing it since 1981 I believe or at least that is the oldest performance I have found.

It was brave to do Rhythm Thief with live back vocals/keys.
A nice concert, but I don't like the equalization too much.
The instrumental seems lower than it should be.
