Look when the Mael Brothers go of stage how their team waits for them, applauds them, and even hugs them! They are musical geniuses and even more, seem super kind. In a World Where You Can Be Anything; Be Kind.
It was a brilliant show and the first time I saw them live. Hope they officially release this one day until then this is a great video to have. Thanks for the upload.
We were at Oxford for the 1st night, & loved every minute. Great to be able to relive the experience - thank you for posting. Russell is in fine voice, & they seem so happy & relaxed.
Historic and previously unperformed Milestones eg. (24:30) - when we first heard Ron in a song, The Shopping Mall of! Love, back in the eighties. YAP..! 47:30 hope I can do that when I am 77..
Bravo Sparks. Merci pour les images, mais que penser du fait que maintenant les concerts sont filmés par tout le monde ce n'est pas cool pour les artistes, le but c'est d'aller les voir en concert, découvrir... Qu'en pensez-vous ???
Yes. I couldn't work out whether the band played on until he was able to start, or whether he missed a bit out to catch up. Either way it recovered well!
Too bad, I had hoped I could watch the whole concert, as I couldn't be there. So many great songs were edited out though. Why? And also the ads every few minutes are annoying.
1 .It's a video..no film involved. 2 Because I can and because I want to. Also for the benefit of those not attending. 3. In my box no one complained. I am sure they enjoyed the close ups. 4 From the appreciative comments and likes I suspect you are in a minority. 5 it's not the whole thing. Several tunes were not done although I do have complete stereo audio. For the whole thing watch the video recorded from very high up. 6 thank you for watching.
@@r4ndym4n 1. You know what I mean. You're just being pedantic. 2. So to hell with those sitting behind me and the ability to be in the moment. It's my followers on UA-cam who count. 3. People don't complain because they want to avoid any awkward confrontation, so they suffer in silence and just put up with it. 4. The appreciative comments are from people on UA-cam, they won't be coming from people sitting behind you. 5. It's over an hour long mate, so it's certainly most of it. Take a short clip by all means, there's was a guy in front of me doing this, and it was fine as it was just occasional short clips. Just enjoy the moment. 6. As I said, I don't mind watching a short clip, but I certainly didn't sit here and watch the whole thing. Finally, just enjoy the moment at a gig, instead of worrying about your social profile. I speak to so many people who find constant filming at gigs a blight on their experience - I'm not a rare case. Of course, ultimately it's your decision. But I would urge you to consider those behind you.
@@tonberrykinged 1.Thank you for your very serious and considered comments. I do consider those behind, which is why I chose to sit in the particular box and seat that I did. The couple immediately behind in the box containing about 12 people I think were higher up and would not have seen too much if any of the camera since my body was in the way. 2.The whole show lasted 1 hr 51, so I did not video 32 mins, about 30%. I see on youtube there is a video of ALL the show. I trust you have commented on that as well. I have no time to check! The problem with that one though is that it is very very small. 3. Please sample my other videos, especially Duane Eddy...that is proving very popular.
@@r4ndym4n Well, to be fair if you haven't got anyone behind you then that's not such an issue as it won't be in anyone's eyeline. I can't promise to have been around every video on the gig - I have a full time job! As it happens there was a young man in front of me who had zero interest in the gig. He had apparently been dragged there by his girlfriend. He kept pulling out his phone to respond to messages and scroll the BBC news feed. On the third occasion I had to tap him on the shoulder and admonish him to watch the gig or leave. Thankfully he kept it in his pocket for the rest of the gig. Anyways, it was a great gig - and while we may have different opinions on this issue, we at least share a good taste in music!
I’m gonna chime in here from the artist’s perspective. It’s quite unethical to record an artist’s performance and distribute it. Live performance costs money and distributing a recording of it without the artists expressed consent infringes their revenue stream. If your channel is monetized it is also illegal. Most every concert ticket sold in the past four decades states no flash photography and no video. You can shout obscenities at strangers on the street too, but that doesn’t make it a wise choice.
Amazing! Brilliant!

What a great music, so many parts used by others 😊
I just can't get enough of The Toughest Girl In Town!
Love it. Always did.
It's lovely, poignant and so is Bon Voyage.
Great concert, I seen them in Glasgow and they were fantastic.
Always original

Brings back memories Bristol Hippodrome late 70’s era they were very good
A love story was the stand out of the night for me, what a fantastic groove

Thank you. You have plenty of videos to choose from on UA-cam!
Big time! Incredible natural echo!!! Not quite the Avalon 2006; but darn close!

My Baby's Taking Us Home. Still the show stopper live song till this very day..
HATED this song the first time I heard it at the 2 Hands concert. Now it's my very favorite!
* me home.
Excellent recording (2 fantastic shows) 👍
Thanks for this. I'd love to hear Rosebud done live one day.
Bon Voyage. It´s long time ago. I war 14 years old. Sparks forever.

Whatever Russell does to keep up that energy I wanna do too!

It's a memory to me and available for the world to enjoy.
C'est une réponse certes insatisfaisante mais une réponse tout de même à la disparition des DVD musicaux
Sparks are big band now...and then
👍
Their dress sense is the inverse to that of the Pet Shop Boys..or is it vice versa?
I can see Russell's mic cuts out during some songs. The same thing happened in Manchester, what is wrong with their sound tech on this tour.

A longer version has been available since the start, so you can hear the whole show anyway, even if the view is distant.

Why do you have to film the whole thing? Can't you just watch with your own eyes? It can be very distracting for people sitting behind you.

Terrible sound!! Band is great!
