I'm infinitely perplexed by how Daniel Day-Lewis created this voice for Plainview as he's so soft spoken. I'm soft spoken as well but try as I might I can't create a voice remotely similar. He does it and it's done with a genius effortless ability, like it's his own natural voice. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if one day we found out that he's from another planet. His talent is other worldly! Christy Brown, William Cutting, Daniel Plainview, Lincoln, you don't ever see him, only the characters he's playing. The man is a monumental talent! Sits atop a platinum throne as the greatest actor ever!

So pleased they didn't forget what 'Propaganda' did for them. I think they are better now that in 1974 and they were great then!
