To fix intelligent scan try this: erase your face and irises data, then register it again in good lighting mostly with light a bit at the side of your face that let to the system capture a better 3d version of your face, also do not raise your tablet to your face, just capture that photo in normal usage position showing a bit more of you chin than your front face, also in the iris section do not open your eyes widely, just look at the camera with relaxed eyes... and then your intelligent unlock will be working really great even in complete darkness. This is how I do it in my note 9 that haves the same sensors and works really good even at the same level of my iPad pro's face ID

I don't use a password for my Tab S4. It's only used around the home so I just double tap the screen. For my S9 I link it to my gear S3 so when it goes out of range it looked the phone
I still love my Tab S2. I wish I had an excuse to upgrade to the S4, but the S2 is still so great. The only complaints I've ever had about the S2 are the relatively slow charging, and no S-Pen. My main problems: 1 - Glass rear. It is stupid, no benefit but makes this vulnerable to damage. 2 - SD835 when in a couple of months the 7nm SD is incoming. Will age badly. 3 - 4gb RAM is an insult on a Samsung device. No future proofing either. 4 - price. It is too high compared to other Android devices and is poor value, really just for Samsung lovers. 5 - battery life is so-so, should be better. 6 - lack of updates, Samsung tablets are bad in that regard and with Google throwing in the towel and passing their crown to ChromeOS I am not hopeful. 7 - No 3D Face ID, why are Samsung so far behind with this tech? It is a half-hearted effort from Samsung but I suppose they are at least trying for the last die hard Android tablet fans. If you are in the Samsung eco-system then this may be for you, if not the iPad Pro is a much better choice or simply buy an Android alternative that are much cheaper and offer better or similar specs!
Samsung Tab S4 is a 10.5 inch Android Tablet using AMOLED aka OLED display which right now is the premiere display technology even Apple used it on the Iphone X ..theres no way LCD is similar ..the rest I agree ..side note the entry level iPad Pro uses A10 chip which is equally outdated manufactures do this to keep cost down ..the iPad Pro biggest models come with a A12 and cost alot more than the Tab S4 and they still have LCD displays ..at the end of the day the display is why anyone buys a Tablet..and Tab s4 has the best display on the market right now with AMOLED and Spen at $600 to $700.
@@bmh4013 You realize the Huawei m5 Pro uses a Kyrin 960 chip that's slower than the 835 right as many benchmarks show, and Apple IPad and entry level iPad pro use A10 which is also Old..you need to spend more that the $700 fo the Tab S4 to get A12 bionic chip in the iPad Pro...and it doesnt have the superior Amoled screen and doesnt include a Pen.

Every comment I have seen from people who ACTUALLY OWN a Galaxy S4, is positive in the extreme. This applies to other websites as well. That's because they are talking from experience in daily usage, and know their stuff. Most negative comments come from peons of the Apple brand, or other self-appointed gurus of all thing technical, who are expressing opinions which either emanate from their fundamental orifice, or are parroting stuff they have read or heard from sources just as biased as themselves. Lame comments like "glass rear is stupid" (95+% of all smart phones - even Apple - have glass rears), "835 will age badly", "really just for Samsung lovers" and a dozen more just as trite, hopefully will be seen for what they are - unfounded and misleading garbage. I know it's a wasted exercise advocating to these "of-the-cuff-shooters" to ACTUALLY get your hands on a Galaxy Tab S4 and throw away the blinkers. Unless you are totally stupid, or irretrievably biased, you will get to enjoy, one of the best tablets money can buy. Inane general criticisms blurted out do not constitute a cogent argument.
Should I get this tab or the Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus 4 gb version? I'm gonna use it for watching 1080p videos, reading comics, magazines, and books, surfing the web, and editing the photos taken with my camera. How's the upscaling in this tablet? That's what I'm worried about. Do 1080p videos and comics upscale well to the 1600p resolution of this display? Is there any pixelation?
I wouldn't worry about upscaling. Is the Lenovo tab 4 10 an old product? The web site says it runs Android 7. Come January the Samsung will be running Android 9. I think Samsung is generally a better name to trust in Android devices, but you'll have to do your research.

Thing is apps... android is just not the place to be for tablet apps.
I don't use a password for my Tab S4. It's only used around the home so I just double tap the screen. For my S9 I link it to my gear S3 so when it goes out of range it looked the phone
If you mean over saturated yes, I much prefer natural
Plus you do not get burn out on iPads like you do on galaxies
Thanks for the video.
Great review. Are there any tab s2 reviews? Awesome review thanks!!
I still love my Tab S2. I wish I had an excuse to upgrade to the S4, but the S2 is still so great. The only complaints I've ever had about the S2 are the relatively slow charging, and no S-Pen. But it's thin, light, durable, long lasting battery, and even after 3 years the screen display is fantastic. Not to mention, Samsung's S2 keyboard case actually has a track pad.
@@GarthHamiltonAdventures yes I agree. I just recently bought the tab s2 I'm I'm extremely pleased with it. Very smooth and has a great screen. Runs all apps with no problem at all.
@@willproduction2138 sounds great
@@GarthHamiltonAdventures wonder why they would take away the track pad. Mabey to boost their mouse sales? Hope they are not doing an apple.
According to my memory, they started axing that useful track pad back when the S3 keyboard cover came out. The new S4 keyboard case is quite a bit snazzier than the S2's, but that's still a bit of a downgrade in functionality.
My main problems:
1 - Glass rear.
Thumbs down for sd 835 and 4gb ram for this price.
Stupid little isheep
Isheep dumb ass
Bought a samsung chromebook pro 2 in 1, 64gb instead of the tab s4. Got a laptop plus a tablet that runs android apps at a lower price and bigger display.
When was the last time Samsung had a software update, 2 years ago
Lol! #truth
I have watches plenty of 1080p movies and Tv shows without issue at all.
kindly check xiaomi mi pad 4 plus and share with us the result.
If your phone is Samsung get the s4
@@xpusostomos no, my phone is not Samsung.
I wouldn't worry about upscaling. Is the Lenovo tab 4 10 an old product? The web site says it runs Android 7. Come January the Samsung will be running Android 9. I think Samsung is generally a better name to trust in Android devices, but you'll have to do your research.
Returned 2 s4 tablets.. amazing tablet but very bad screen banding on oled display.. vertical shadow line shadows in grey or white back ground. I thought i could get use to it but for 700$ it shouldnt do that..
To all Tab S4 buyers:
Aren't you concerned that the processor is AT LEAST more than 1.5 years old and that it'll be completely obsolete in a year or two, max? Don't you think it's overpriced for what it offers?
Technically it is overpriced. But it is still amazingly awesome. Unless you are a gamer or something the processor doesn't matter. I don't know what you think would compete with it, but I don't like the alternatives.
@@xpusostomos EVERY iPAD released since 2015 would compete with it just fine. iPAD-s are MUCH, MUCH more powerful than this, just compare the benchmarks. But...that's not all, otherwise Android tabs won't sell at all. It's the openness that matters, and hassle-free data transfer. Had it not been for the forever-secretive, irritatingly restrictive and greedy Apple system, noone would deign to touch TAB S4 with this price tag with a 10-foot long pole.
Thanks for the video ! The review is helpful. I love your desktop how do you customize it ?? :)
I use transparent clock and weather widget
Jabber Tech thank you!
I'm passing on this.. why?

Try the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus. Great Video. I have the Galaxy Tab S3 and all I can say is Android sucks in Tablet. I only use it for watching movies and some email. Not a gamer also. I take it to meeting for simple notes using One Note. I use the pen.
Oh wow, i literally just watched a video where you told everyone not to buy this, yet here you are with it Ha-ha.
Because no money?
you could turn on smart unlock at your home adress.
Yep I do but that doesn't always work for some reason
What s gong to happen to tab s4 when google is not gonna update the android os for tab s4? Is samsung gonna do anything about this?
You'll get two years of updates. After that, no more.
i just recently upgraded to this from the original tab s. it was working ok so you could probably expect a good 5 years of life.. average for tech
Android is Android, it makes no difference what screen you run it on. In fact a lot of people like to run NOX Android on their PC, because they like running Android apps. Android on tablets is not going away despite what Google thinks.
there are still android users on kit kat
@@roostersideburns3440 yeah, Samsung is still selling some Lollipop 5.0 devices. Seems crazy and wrong, but I guess it works still.
btw been using face unlock its not been a hassle for me.
One con is that its sd 835 processor in underclocked
Apple does not spy, they are very big on security
Very informative video. Thanks. Will you try to bend it like jerryrigeverything did with the new iPad? 😉
Hahahhaha
Negative. I use this tablet daily..heck,using it now to reply
What is the screen like is sunlight, I fly a drone, needs to have a high nit value.
im running the 1st gen iPad Pro 12.9 and I was looking to upgrade to this but I need something with just a bit more power.. I do alot of multitasking with many browser portals and messaging programs. While those are open i would love to be able to run games in a smaller window but the games I play are graphic intensive... Fortnite and Modern Combat versus mainly. The snapdragon 835 and 4 gb ram wont cut it. My ipad pro cant do this level of multitasking which is why I want to switch.

The new iPad Pro 2018, is a beast. Try it.
It’s no iPad Pro tho is it 👎

I wish to know if this tab works with a drone. Can’t find any vids on it! Specially on the Mavic pro 2
Should have had 6GB of RAM and be $500. At $650 it is not worth it at all.
They screwed us with the ram but it runs smoothly...for now
The bad thing that Samsung did was that I remove the fingerprint to put facial recognition .. 🤔 And I do not use facial recognition or even 👐 in my Note 9 ✍️ because I do not like it, The fingerprint is much better to block the app is much faster and is more secure, 😳 They could put the fingerprint ☝️ on the sides of the, 👌 tablet, and leave the aspect ratio in 3.2.. 😳 It has no logic they changed the aspect to the 16 10 because in 10.5 "in the 👉 3.2 format it is better to Read and view content and it's still good to watch videos and movies ..
👌Sure that tablet is very good for graphic arts ✍️✍️✍️. I personally use more than 👉 7 app for graphic arts, because I am a costructor and teacher of electric and classical guitars, harps, pianos ext ext, and every time I do my graphics in my Tap s3 and in my tablet windows to!!! .. But in the Galaxy Tap 3 I create my own harps, pianos ext, ext, and I draw the musical notes without any problem, and it is supposed that in the Galaxy Tap s4 it is much better that✍️✍️✍️...
can you name the constructor app? i might need it

What do you think of the keyboard for s4 or would buy the regalur case.
I actually bought a case and a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard. But I don't use a keyboard often, if you do then might want to splurge on the keyboard case
@@TheJabberTech i just went buy best buy and bought both and will try both of them out. Thanks for the help, will let you know what i think of them. I will say the keyboard is great except for it is not backlit.
I tried both of the them and didn't like either one. I love my book case for my s3 but this one just doesn't stay in place. The book keyboard stays in place but keys don't work well and I don't like that when using it doesn't help me with my spelling. Hope this helps some else when they are looking for a case or keyboard. It is better than 18:9, but still in landscape mode it is bad if you are no watching video. OnScreen keyboard is weird! Not an easy to use
Will the S4 fit in your pocket
Do u have big pockets
Lexus Car Yes, if it is named Note 8.
On Aug 1st you published a video titled : Do not buy the tab s4.🤭
Yep. It's way too overpriced. I found a great deal on Swappa and had to pull the trigger. For the price I paid, it's an awesome tab... For what Samsung is asking MSRP, it's not worth the upgrade from the S3 and for all us nerds, of course we are gonna buy it! 🤓
