Other than the SUPER INFLATED price of apple iPad the no expandable SD card or able to use a otg cable to download or upload files to it or on it cause 64 or 128 gigs goes fast that you're having to Uninstall apps and games to make room fir more .

@@Imhim247 with USB C, the device tells the charger how much power to supply, So a 15W or 40W will both charge at about the same speed. My favourite brand is Ugreen though.
Best value tablet i have bought in years, stoked with my A9 plus 4/64.
I just bought one of these tablets. It's my first tablet and I'm not sure what to expect so this vid really helped me get an idea of what I can expect. I have a laptop with a 17" screen and a flip phone so I need something to take with me on short trips instead of hauling the laptop around. This tablet should do the trick.

Be sure to get the 128 gig/ 8 gig ram version . 4 gig, 64 gig storage is a waste of time and money.

I like the thick bezels as accidentally touching stuff is a big issue for me. The cons are quite minimal and easy to look over especially due to the price point and easy to expand to 1tb which negates the issue with 64gb base storage. I stand corrected. 128gb version definitely worth it to get 8gb ram. Great review.
Good review but it has 8 gb of ram in the 128 not 6. The bezels are a half inch not and inch the bezels are not bad at all. You are rite on slow charge speeds but certainly exceptable for 269 for the 128gb 8gb of ram version. Typing my comment on mine that I just set up. I returned my S9 plus was way over kill and not worth 1K$ this 269$ tablet does all I need. I did try the a8 last year and that I returned also this blows it away

Is it possible to use the samsung A9+ as a dex screen with a S23 ultra. The A9+ is fine for content consumption but I would like to use a more powerful processor with a bigger portable screen for some productivity task.

Headphone Jack was a must feature...so even though I would like a better high end tablet..I went with the A9+ ...I use headphones and need to charge at the same time. As battery power starts to die with age in bluetooth devices and tablets this feature is a must.

I have a A7 still, is this worth the upgrade? Im eyes the lenovo 11pro gen 2, which has 4k playback, oled screen, 120hz and a way more powerfull processor ,also only cost 50 bucks more
@@SWOTHDRA I can't speak about any Lenovo tablet because I've never used one. But answering your initial question, yes! The A9+ has a bigger screen, higher refresh rate, plus faster and smoother operation. The A8 was not a step forward from the A7; in fact, I find the A7 to have superior picture quality. But the A9+ beats them both.
I wanted to get the 9+ but my old A6 from 2016 has the same resolution screen but better pixel density so has a sharper screen ! Samsung have lowered the pixel density from A7 & A8 and now the A9+. I know it's not the end of the world but it is dissapointing that samsung have deliberately done this. I will be having a look at what the competition has to offer as an S9 FE is wasted on me even though it has a much better screen in both resolution and pixel density !
@@paulmcgeever5343 I have an A5 that I use only to read comics in bed at night, which is even older than yours, and I face the same issue. Since almost 10 years, not much has changed except maybe the processor. The tablets have the same resolution, same weight, same thin... It's really not worth "upgrading". I expected to have a big change but it feels I will buy the sam thing I already have.
I'm looking for a very thin and light tablet to be able to read more comfortably, any ideas?

@@KlaasjanM Runs like clockwork like expected from Samsung. Really happy with this €299 tablet. The update from 13 to 14 as UI 5.1.1 to 6.0 I do not notice differences as of now. Maybe using specific apps or funtionality later I may. So far flawless experience.

I want to use this for my office work. Multiple chrome & edge tabs, figma, sketching, Ms office, etc.. would it be ideal?
@@AnkurMadharia Ideal, not in my opinion, doable yes. The only thing to consider is the pen. The screen needs a "touch" instead of proximity of a pen (different technologies). My advice is to try and maybe consider the S9FE as well (~$450). The S6 lite I find to be dated with 4 Gb RAM.
Pickup up the 128, 8 gb model yesterday. Was actually pleased I play Aether Gazer and PGR and plays flawless. I did tried the Genshin on moderate resolution and 60 fps on it which works fine for me and was responsive. Also played Game Pass and played Exoprimal which works perfectly fine. Only thing I did not test which I am later is the Aether Sx2 for the PS2 emulator. Plays fine on my Ultra tabs (obviously) but I am curious if this can handle it. Watching media is perfectly fine for me at night watching a few shows.
Thank you once again for covering a device that doesn't seem to get much coverage and I feel this is a darkhorse of a tablet; not very often an "A" Series gets DEX capabilities. I am sadden that the cellular models only get 4GB of RAM.
In my country, Philippines, this is only available in 8GB/128GB for both wifi and cellular models.

In indian 8gb 128gb is there i with 5g so yup and its great 695 is similarvto old 730g just 5g instead of 4g 😊
So for storage it is possible if you have the 64g memory, you can buy a SD card and make it the internal storage for everything and make it your default storage for apps, movies, songs, games, photos etc.. rather than it being just a side storage. Little heads up for those who got the 64g version and want more memory.
Make sure that the sd card you get is fast though because if you get a slower one than the default it came with it will load stuff slower.
It definitely is and I know how to do it you have to turn on developer options scroll all the way to the bottom and hit that tab that says make any app eligible to be written to SD card regardless of manifest values and there you go you can now install any apps to your SD card

i just got the galaxy tab A9+ 128gb model with the 8gb of ram and I can't believe how good it is I got it on sale too same price as the 64gb model but obviously double the ram. very good performance for a tab at that price point.

I own the Tab A9+ (8G RAM version) since January and I love it. I previously had the Tab A6 and this one is so much faster, sounds awesome, and the Dex mode definitely does the job to provide a PC-like experience for when working with the tablet.
Can you tell me how it is for reading ebook? Is it pixelated?
@Chronos867 I haven't tried reading for long periods of time but I'd say it's ok for reading. Density (~206 ppi) is good to me

How about the battery? It seems that Samsung is recycling leftover batteries, as it uses the same old ~7000mAh battery I have on my old A7. Oh, and the old A7 has an OLED display! Why do I feel this is a step back in too many aspects, apart form the chipset and RAM?
I really like mine. You mentioned that tab was heavy, but my first impression was it's lite as a feather. Ever hold an iPad? Now that's heavy !!

Is Samsung a9+ good as a mini laptop? Is it worth it? I am planning to buy it since I cannot carry my laptop all the time. I am also going to use it to make word documents, emails, and for entertainment (of course haha).
I've been using mine as a daily driver for about two weeks.
Slow charging, the viewing angle sucks. The bezel doesn't bother me. Only thing i wish it had a dedicated spen
Really like this tablet (8/128 version). Pretty quick with 8Gb RAM & S695. The S6 lite imho only has the pen going for it, though runs UI 6. Updates for A9+ still in the pipeline (two OS as security up till januari 2029? 😮
Runs fast multitasking and you can "extend" your RAM by using Plus up to another 8Gb swap file memory internally allocated. 16 Gb RAM (sort of).
Runs A13 UI 5.1.1 update to be expected any time soon.
One point to be considered is the 15 Watt charging the tab will do as long you have...a charger...

Try to remove 1 app from the task bar and drag the VLC media player in its place.
Does it support second screen?
Would it be OK to transfer some GoPRo files (for example 30GB) to the 128GB version and then transfer it to the portable HDD? Tablets are much lighter than laptops, that is why I am condidering it as an option. Thanks for the answer.
Transferring 30 gigs is probably ok but you may save more time by putting the gopros micro sd into the tab and then connecting your hdd to the usb c port. This might not be the fastest transfer speed but it definitely will work.

@@Mosestylez Battery backup is pretty good. Based on my light usage, it usually lasts a day, also probably because it is new and would degrade with time. No major heating observed with YT, browsing, light games, multi tasking. Charging time is a little high at roughly 2 to 2.5 hours till 100%

@@DavidFB24 movies look pretty decent. Even though it is ips display, the color production is quite good (not as vibrant as ipad), but good enough to watch and enjoy movies. At a price point, I like the display quality.

Upgraded this year from the A8 to the S9 FE. Wanted to stay in the 10-11 inch size and of course upgrade to the S Pen. I mainly watch movies/videos, word process, take notes, and answer email. The S9FE does what I need it to. Getting the A9 for my son however. Great review. Thanks!

In my samsung galaxy tablet A9 plus while using microsoft teams via browser , microphone and speaker are not working but while using with downloaded teams app it works. Anyone facing same issue . Secondly in device manager ,tablet diagnostic it is showing "in call speaker issue detected", please tell is this issue faced by anyone else?

Just got the 64gb/4gb ram version. Honestly the first thing I noticed was the display lack of FOV but quickly got used to it because seriously its a tablet and only one person is going to be using it so it'll be right in front of you anyways. The ram if just doing productivity stuff is not even noticeable unless there are just tons of apps open at once. I would however get the 8gb ram version if you do game on it. The fact that there is expandable storage and a headphone jack are both very nice features. Overall for the price great product.
Which pencil does the A9+ support?
A UA-camr fron my country (Spain) recommended me a Hama pencil (the tripods brand).
Upgraded from the tab A 2019, Wlan 10.5" to A9 plus, only 64/4GB, only for basic tasks like newspaper reading, browsing, email, ... so far satisfied.
That step I want to take also, from the Tab A (2019) to the A9+ 128/8gb
I'm taking that step also but mine is the Tab A with S pen (2016) to the A9+ 128/8
Just got this tab, and indeed noticed the very slow charging😢 But apart from that, I like it. Will use it mainly for watching youtube and online TV. The sound and screen are decent for that purpose. Headphone jack is a major bonus.
I'm sorry, if the slow charging is a BIG problem I'd recommend getting another tablet however for most things the tablet is great. If you wish to keep this device Just make sure to put on the charger every night before you sleep for optimal use.

When you quote 3 hours for charging, is that via regular slow charge mode or 15w fast charge mode.
Yeah I got the same idea as U.. probebly he used some 10w cheap charger
15w probebly won't change that much.. like 2 hours & half at best..
But the good thing is, U don't need to charge it at mid-day.. U can charge it before U sleep (7000mah battery will last for 3 days)
Still.. my Lenovo Tab P11 have like 7700mah battery & last for like 1 week with low usage.. 3 days with medium usage, so i guess this A9+ will do the same overall (unless U play, it' won't last for 3 days)
From 0-100. It took mine 98 minutes on 15W Charging.
@GameTesterDev that's impossible.. 15w will take around 100 minutes to fill 5000mah battery..
A9+ have 7040mah battery.. so it will take minimum 150 minutes to fill
Even my Lenovo Tab P11 (which have 20w) takes around 2 hors & half to full charge
@@Jack_Sparrow131 I literally timed it on my phone's timer. Unless they're lying about the 15W... Because I have it plugged into a 25W charger.

You place as a con the storage, yet it can be expanded to 1T and comes as standard 64gb as all IPads do, you mention the bezel and yes it’s always nice to see little or hardly any bezel, but you state an 1” that’s bezel is max 1/2” unless your thumbs are 1”+ diameter? And the tilt you did was pretty extreme to experience what seemed little difference, depending what you have on screen, but I would call that what photographers call pixel peeping,, looking for perfection on a value product like sat nav, or heated seats in a budget and I say all this as an IPad user!
Cant decide between this or going for a slightly older iPad.
Mostly just want to use for general browsing/apps/light gaming instead of using my phone all the time to increase how long my phone might last before needing to upgrade. I currently have an iphone XR.

I have a very important question, not sure if anyone is having the same issue or if it’s just me .. we bought 1 for each of our toddlers & synced it together (same email & yada yada) my son is free willing downloading a ton of apps on his own without parent consent (like how Apple phones use face recognition or pin in order to download an app) I’m wondering if this Samsung galaxy tablet A9+ has a function to do that! Because I need to stop him from downloading a bunch of apps .. I can’t figure it out .. help please!! How do I set a pin/password in google play store so he can’t download apps free willing !!

It would be a great tablet if it could use the s pen. I purchased this when Samsung told me could use the s pen pro, it doesn’t. I took it back to BB and purchased the S9FE and I’m much happier now

On a tablet bezels aren't a problem for me
It has the headphone jack but it 's doesn't work all the time. I have my headphones plugged in the jack but it doesn't work sound comes out of the four speakers. I want the privacy of not disturbing others when l am on my tablet. I have gone to the headphones setting and set it up. The 4 side speakers still play the sound not the headphones.

Just bought this Tablet at BestBuy for $220.00 with 8GB/128GB. So far Im real happy, wish they would make the display a 16:10 or 4:3 aspect ratio because what they are doing now isnt great. Love the software on here tho, Dex is amazing for something like this
The TFT display bothers me tbh. But if you dont really care about screen or not use your tab outside then you get a premium tablet for its price

I would definitely spend the extra 50 dollars and get the 128 gb model with 8gb ram and right now on Amazon it comes with the Samsung official folio case a $50 value . That's insane

Was aiming to get 4/64 but it will lag in next year thanks to Android overusage of RAM recently.. so I got the 8/128 for the long run

But the 1 thing that am 100% is common in all countries is.. Samsung phones/tablets always get deals, so you need to wait until you find a promo or discount on the A9+
I also have Lenovo Tab P11.. but Samsung UI is just much better.. so I'll keep the A9+ for me, and maybe give the Lenovo P11 to my family or as spare Lol

@@Jack_Sparrow131 yeah what country are you from where that's a really good deal man okay that's that's freaking good I'd be like I'd buy a couple just to resell them but I never had a Lenovo tablet unfortunately in my country they they're not too popular but the they're not too popular but the Samsung and Apple phones are very popular tablets I don't know how popular they are maybe I'm just obsessed with them but in my personal opinion because I had Chromebooks before so I sold the Chromebooks tablets are kind of just like they're just a half step to Chromebooks and Chromebooks are very close to laptops It will close her but I don't know If you've ever had a Chromebook out highly recommend it just get it cheap one just to see how it feels and it runs very smooth with very minimal specs for example this was a couple years ago though but I got an Acer Chromebook 315 and it had 4 GB of RAM with 32 storage and it had an Intel and Intel 4010 I forgot honestly but it was a very mediocre chip it wasn't even an i3 so it was an Intel Celeron yet Intel Celeron 4010 I don't remember but it was a bad chip if I had an Intel i3 10th generation on a Windows laptop and it was horrible horrible it was slow the battery lasted for like maybe 3-4 hours and it was better spec than that but on the Chromebook this thing was just so smooth with a lower spect Intel Celeron chip and I was blown away so I don't know for me I think I'm probably just going to sell this tablet because I've seen all the low end tablets and they're usually 4 GB of RAM with either 6432 or 128 storage so at that price I think it's very competitive in terms of US prices but I'll definitely check out the p11

I found another con. If you're playing a video game and turn down the game's volume so you can listen to a news channel or your music collection, only one app will play. The game will freeze as the music player starts and vice versa. I've tried split windows but only one window plays at a time. Also noticed that if I want to watch a YT channel and listen to another YT channel in a different tab, only one tab at a time will play. I cannot find a fix for this. I own an old Surface Tablet and a Chromebook tablet and do not have this problem. Any suggestions?
