Thank you for the in-depth analysis and review on my list! This definitely sums it up on a bunch for a nice and quick way, so now I can point users here for an overview. :D
It's been updated now so it uses Character Kit Remake instead. Although New Vegas Redesigned 3 imo adds more flavour to the characters and aligns more with their personalities. Character Kit Remake does look really nice in New Vegas
Great review as always! I love your style man, keep up the good work. Honestly you posted this just as I heard that this pack was a thing and started debating if I should give it a try or stay on my own modlist, but after the video I think it'll be worth a shot
Noice, looking forward to trying this one out! Thanks for the showcase and review! My Courier no doubt will enjoy wandering the Mojave wastes with this list. 😁
Okay, this settles it. You're my favorite youtube creator. I haven't had much luck woth modding Fallout games, even popular modlists end up feeling janky, but the ones you cover are perfect. It's also nice that you use ultrawide. I do too and I feel like it gets forgotten. Thank you for refreshing my love for Fallout. The ONLY thing I'm unhappy about is how many mod lists have the bleed mods. A fine idea, but it just gets extremely annoying after not too long.
This list looks amazing! I have modded NV several times myself and got over 200h in it. It's by far my favorite Fallout and it's been a while since I last played it so I might actually download this one and give it a shot. How come there's no addons section this time around btw? It can't possibly be that you're scared of breaking something given how incredibly stable NV runs 😋
I fear no man, but that thing... (looks at New Vegas modding) it scares me... But yeah you hit the nail on the head; no addons because modding New Vegas is like playing jenga, one wrong move and everything comes crashing down.
Got this modlist in my reccomened like last night but I was waiting for a vid from you to see if I'll install it or not lol seems pretty good so I think I'll check it out
I was just watching your mod list showcases for Nolvus and Living Skyrim 4 and you uploaded what are the chances? Out of the 2 which do you recommend I’ve been sinking some hours into Elysium and am looking for a switch up, outstanding content as always Ice
Living Skyrim is a personal favourite of mine so I'll say that, but Nolvus has apparently added a lot since i played so that might be worth looking into
is there a link to a full list? love that you covered this btw, i love hardcore new vegas and this seems perfect for me. if i ever upgrade my pc im definitely getting this list :D
Quick question. Am pretty new to modding. About the reduced Level cap thing etc., is that also toggable? And if not is the Jsawyer mod essential? I personally rather keep the lvl 50 cap for example.
It is important to have a fast hard drive - NVMe or SSD. The main thing is that NVMe must have an active cooling system; without it, it will simply overheats and the game will crash. HDD is not suitable for this engine with mods. With an old HDD you will encounter terrible stuttering. The same assembly behaves completely differently for me just because it is on different disks. With HDD game may crash when you leaving interiors or freeze with a black screen when you entering interior, everything will jerk and objects around will appear out of thin air in front of you. In addition, you need an NVIDIA video card, ATI is not suitable for such old games, modding and most tasks that NVIDIA copes well with. I had everything, including mobile videocards. I discovered this pattern over 20 years of experience using different drivers, soft, computers and laptops.
Hey so I wanted to know how could I get only the location mods and nothing else. I want the feel of classic new vegas but kinda what I was meant to be. Plus I don't want to use the texture/NPC overhaul because I think it would be wierd with New California and the more Weapon Attachments mod
I’m having some issues with the installation, the modlist will download and finish but when I open it up it never launches the game through Mod Organizer , I’m lost lol
as much as i love new vegas, seeing the plethora of graphics mod used while the skybox still looks shit makes me sad. sucks that the sky cant look better
That's because the person that made this video installed a mediocre weather mod that uses the vanilla sky textures. Use Desert Natural Weathers if you want something that looks good and not from 2010.

The list never works for me if I use new vegas reloaded, it just crashes when i load in, but otherwise, great list, works fine without the graphics mods.
the most recent update of this modlist (3.4) has really bad flickering issues on most grass surfaces and cuts the amount of skill points you get on level up in half. I wouldn't recommend this modlist currently.
I haven’t noticed any flickering on grass? Only one texture in Boulder City flickers for me. And the skill levelling I think is fine. I would recommend the list today, albeit I understand why you would not.
I directly stopped playing this List because @2:37 you see there is a super mutant right on start which is a companion that 1 hits everything idk how that makes sense.
@@stefane6598 ye but adversing a challenging hardcore modlist , with a companion at the start that 1 shot everything and literally kills the purpose of the hardcore challenge whats that logic.
@@alibi_streamhighlights736 because not everyone that downloads it is interested in the hardcore aspect? For people watching this, just don't turn on New Vegas Reloaded. Yes, it has been enhanced a lot, but many of the effects are implemented in a god awful way that takes a game that *can* look bright, colorful, and yet atmospheric (very evocative of the actual southwest) and turn it into a bleary soup of bad effects. It also tanks performance. Just don't do it.
In hindsight I should've done a comparison with it on/ off. You're right although i did manage to adject the settings to get a good middle-ground, although the blurriness is still noticeable on vegetation
UPDATE: This list is now only on Nexus
Its back on Wabba.
@@ShinOkamiYT Can confirm. It's back on Wabbajack.

I've been playing your list and it's great. Thanks for taking time to work on it.
Why's it only on Nexus?

this list looks beyond phenomenal, i'd argue it sets a standard for new vegas as a whole
New Vegas is the gift that keeps on giving (well technically it's modders but yknow)
i love your videos. every aspect from the shots to your script are great! keep it up buddy!
I like the letterbox effect on the video giving it a filmic look, I wish I could play the game like that
New vegas reloaded, reshade, or ENB all have an optional letterbox effect
@@CocoaTube9 Don’t use Enb, they were never properly finished for NV and will cause a lot of issues, NVR and Reshade are fine tho
I would’ve installed this modlist if it weren’t for the fact it uses Fallout Character Overhaul, which is notorious for its massive amount of bugs.
Yeah New Vegas redesign 3 is waaaay better
It's been updated now so it uses Character Kit Remake instead. Although New Vegas Redesigned 3 imo adds more flavour to the characters and aligns more with their personalities. Character Kit Remake does look really nice in New Vegas
It doesnt uses FCO as far as i know, only NVR3 and that one is optional as far as i know
