The lady at the MccDonald drive-thru was sentenced to 60 days in jail and had to pay for the window she broke.
Yes I had to look that one up too as her behavior was so shocking and over the top. She admitted to being drunk.

I work in customer service and a lady who came in wearing a shirt that said "Calm Down Karen" and I told her I thought it was funny. She replied "My name is Karen and I'm not gonna be a Karen about it." Loved her

A few years ago one of my coworkers was scream-crying on the phone to our director about another coworker, and she said hang on a minute and proceeded to calmly order chicken nuggets from a drive thru and then snapped right back to the scream-cry. The director was like….did you just order chicken nuggets? She said yes they make me feel better lmao
that last one was frightening, I could see that it affected you Charlotte. I am so fortunate I don't have to ever be in that kind of situation; you notice that Karens mostly cause chaos at retail places, obviously because they feel so entitled, and after watching so many of these examples, I really fear for people's safety. I really appreciate how Charlotte is always compassionate and looks for a possible explanation for the frustration that Karens feel, but mostly they're just dangerously narcissistic, mentally unbalanced, and that is why I will always RUN from this kind of craziness!
I was in shock with my mouth gaping open on that last one...then looked at Charlotte with the same exact frozen in fear and unbelief expression on her face too! LOLOLOL How scary is right! Poor guys working there don't get Karen Hazard Pay, but should have with that kind of crazy! WOWSERS!!

I worked several jobs in retail and food service while I was in college and people get violent and screechy way more than I think most folks realize. When I was working at Blockbuster, some woman in her 40s jumped over the counter and started trying to pull my hair out because she overheard me tell a mother, who had asked my advice as an employee, that I did not think Twilight Breaking Dawn was appropriate for her 9 year old, and explained why in broad terms. It wasn't quite as insane as the woman in the last clip here, but I never came back for another shift after that. (Also I really, really do not miss Twilight hysteria. Good lord, the mega-fans.)
Yeah it can escalate really quickly, so nobody should hesitate to call the cops. With the last video, the second she tried opening the window I would've called. You can tell them leave or you're calling the cops, and sometimes you'll get lucky and they do.
Fun fact, the voices are dubbed over a silent security camera clip. She was probably crazy about something other than McNuggets
One day I hit another car while parking. It broke the small light on the side. I was shaking with stress (still new to driving in a city) and the man whose car it was took time to tell me it's ok, it's only a car piece. This light is pretty cheap if you buy it yourself, and he knows hot to it up. So he told me to just buy it, and we say nothing to insurance, so I can keep my bonus. It costed me 20€ plus 5 for a box of chocolate I gave him.
This is the kind of life you live when you are not a Karen.
I ALMOST had something similar happen to me. Was new to driving and backing up out of my college parking lot, clipped the back corner of a truck (much more damage to my car than theirs) stayed put and reported it to the police, and while this was all going on the owner of the truck came out. I was crying, terrified my dad was gonna kill me, and she was super nice and understanding, told me not to worry. Even told me she'd just recently backed into a pole so its not like the truck was in new condition...
then tried to say all the damage was from my car to fuck me over with my insurance, needless to say when we saw what the estimate was we contacted insurance and found this out, and told them she admitted to hitting a pole and that her back tire was over the line (it was but until the attempt to fuck me over I didn't care because I still hit her truck) along with pictures of the tire over the line and the yellow paint that was definitely not from my blue car.
Really upset me because I had found such hope in the kindness and compassion she'd shown when it happened, but she turned out just another person trying to screw someone over.
@@JininxicaI had a similar encounter - a Mercedes cut my way and there was a collision, as I hit them from the side. I thought it was my fault and was going to back off, until the Benz owner and the driver - probably his wife, started being rude. Telling me - someone driving a 10x cheaper car, that i'm just wasting his time and i should yield, made me change my mind and fight for my rights. I found out they violated a "no entry" sign. At the end, the police judged it was 50/50 fault, because, obviously he was some big shot and they wanted to get on his good side. Sometimes it's not worth it to be a good human being.

@@MSinistrari yeah she had two little kids in her car. She was arrested and charged for damages done to private property and child endangerment (if I’m not mistaken) cause she sped off and cut off a car almost getting hit.

I know a person who is a Karen and one time she was taking anything I said and tried to turn it into a fight with me in front of other company. The more I stayed calm and didn’t engage with her, the louder and louder she started talking, trying to start a fight, until Siri on my Apple Watch responded with “I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you’re trying to say”.
Everyone burst out laughing and completely disarmed her.

I was in shock too! I had to look this one up. Apparently, she was drunk. They caught her and she spent 60 days in jail and had to pay to replace the broken window.
And my friend suggested I go work back in the food industry yesterday.... that last video says everything about why I say HELL NO.
I remember several crazy incidents when I worked at McDonald's and the craziest was when a lady was furious about her coffe to the point that she threw it onto the face, neck and chest of a female 16 or 17 year old coworker. One of the patrons and a manager kept the angered lady from leaving until the police arived. The coworker had second and third degree burns and the lady was charged with assault and sued. The young lady that was burned was taken to the hospital and didn't return to work.
My sister's name is Karyn and she tends to be kindly, but has a great sense of humor. Whenever I disagree with her, now, she asks to see my manager. 😁

I am actually speechless over the Melting Pot one. That restaurant is an absolute institution in my city. They literally market themselves as “the original fondue restaurant” and she’s mad about it. Livid.

11:30- had a guy do this to me. Jumped out of the car behind me and ran up just as I was pulling in. I was halfway in and he stood in front of me. We sat there for 10 min and a cop was driving through and stopped to see what was going on. The dude told the cop that he was just walking past and I hit him with me car!!
Thankfully, this other guy that was parked in front and to the left of the spot saw everything. He told the cop what really happened. Dude tried saying the guy is a friend of mine.
Dude finally moved, limping a fake ass limp, because the cop told him to come by the cop car. Cop’s partner went inside to view the security camera. When Dude found this out he tried leaving, saying he is going to the hospital. Cop said he gonna radio for an ambulance but Dude kept saying he doesn’t want to be a burden, it’s too expensive, and other people need it more. Cop wouldn’t let him leave or he will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
Other cop came back, Dude was arrested for making a false claim or something like that. I wish I had a video of it all. It was awesome. At least I got my spot.
The thing is, if they would’ve asked me, politely, for the space, I wouldn’t have cared. There was another space, we both passed like 5 or 6 cars back.
Sounds like he didn’t want the space. He just wanted to sue you.

When I was in high school I worked at a KFC and this lady was trying to get free food and I just started my shift 15 minutes earlier so I had no idea what her order was or anything…so when I asked for her receipt to help fix the issue that I had no knowledge to, she started flipping out on me and tried swinging at me and hopping over the counter…I just took a couple steps back and asked for my manager because I was 16 and not about to fight with a grown woman…she never made it over the counter but she was screaming at my manager that she was angry because I would not engage and start a fight with her…she said “I can’t get free things if the employee won’t fight with me…nothing is wrong with my order!” And she just left…he son looked at us and apologized for his moms behavior.
Wild experience.

Parking lot Karen was absolutely in the wrong. If she had parked her car correctly, she would have had more than enough room to enter her car.
And that other woman who was filming got her fat ass between the two cars without even squeezing, so obviously there was room to open the car door. Or here's an idea -- use the doors on the driver's side of the car. LOL If these are the worst problems these people have, they are blessed indeed and don't even know it.
Also there is a open space in front of her. She could ya know...move forward a bit...problem solved.

The woman who went bezerk over the chicken mcnuggets was drunk at the time of the incident and was arrested. She served 69 days in jail and had to pay the restaurant for the broken window. Hope this Karen learned her lesson

Thanks for the context! Not surprising. My exact thought was that there had to be either drugs and/or mental illness involved, that isn't just entitlement, that's a complete separation from reality.
To wildly speculate, I wouldn't be surprised if there had been more substances involved than just alcohol but a breathalyzer is probably what they had handy at the scene when the cops caught up, so that's what they took her in for. It just seems too... manic to only be alcohol. She was out of that door *fast*, before he could even close the window. Someone who is intoxicated enough on alcohol alone to be that irrational on volatile would usually be slow to react and uncoordinated. Could also just be mental health issues on top of the alcohol, who knows. Hope she got help either way

Someone I a Bridesmaid for (in 2006 or so) wore one. I was in her wedding. It wasn’t the BIG one, though! one of the smaller ones. We may or may not still give her a hard time for that (in all honesty it didn’t look that bad in an updo but we are all just like that as we all grew up together like sisters). I am never rude. I always have perfect manners. If someone has wronged me, I will approach him and say "Dear sir, you are an asshole!" Neighbor who tried to yell at me, was treated that way. He later wrote a complaint. In his complaint, he wrote "She very politely told me terrible things".

As someone who’s eaten at a melting pot restaurant before;
It’s not just a 4 course meal. It’s a 4 course fondue meal. You get a soup or salad, an oil pot, a cheese pot, and a chocolate pot. The oil pot is a fondue pot with hot oil that cooks your meat or vegetables how you want right in front of you.
It’s genuinely been delicious every time I’ve eaten there. If you have one near you, as I’m pretty sure it’s a chain, I recommend it for a fancy night out.

Agreed! We did the grill pan for the main course though. It was a special meal for my birthday and I had always wanted to go, so I got to go! With the birthday extras, it was a little over 200 for us both, but we knew it was expensive going in, but again, special occasion type thing and the dessert fondue alone was worth it!!
Its my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire world!! We go there for every special occasion!! We are going there this Monday actually because I have a big surgery on Thursday October 28th. I told my family its the one thing I want to do before my surgery just incase something goes wrong. I love that they agreed to take my dramatic butt to the Melting Pot simply because they know how much I adore that place.😂 The closest location is almost 2 hours away so we are just going to make a day of it!! I'll be in recovery for 4 weeks afterwards so knowing I have this last day to pig out and have fun makes me feel so much better about the situation. Melting Pot is literally a cure for my depression, anxiety, and stress.😂😂😂 I literally try and come up with reasons to go to Melting Pot all the time so I'm happy this one worked lol!!

Works for me. When anyone calls me "ma'am" in a condescending way I call them ma'am as well, whether they are male or female. I get kinda sick of how men are just called "sir" but women can be called "ma'am" or "miss" as an insult. We should have a unisex greeting for strangers.
One of my alters is the youngest of 8. All her elder siblings are male. Her dad named her Tobias. We all just call her Tobi. She thinks it's hilarious, especially since she's "a big ol' lesbian", as she puts it.

Oh and I have experienced the McDonald's Karen working in the drive thru. We had some lady refuse to move because the pies were still in the oven and were literally 5 minutes from being done. We asked her to park and she lost it. Refused to move even after we gave her the pie. We ended up having to get everyone to back out of the drive thru lane and the police were called. They couldn't get her to move either (after an hour) so they towed her car with her in it and then arrested her.
That makes me happy. XD (the towed and arrested part)
I hope they left her locked in the car at the tow yard. LOL!

Actually encountered a Karen in the small Swedish town where I live, we have an Asian restaurant chain and this woman was utterly offended that she had to make her own Pho.
