Lots of great progress. Nice to see the body come off…I’m sure you will get a lot of comments about not having the door openings braced up when you lifted the body….looking forward to the next episode. As mentioned, they are great cars to work on.

Hello and thanks for your kind comment. Yes I am expecting to be shot down for that 😂😂 The panel gaps are always poo on these and because its going to have brand new aftermarket front wings then I will make the gaps perfect also I will be adding extra strengthening to the body and chassis to reduce flex. I really like these TR6's and amazing the response it has had. More to come soon. Jamie

That's really cool that you have restore two of them! Yes sadly that's the case with many projects. They take a lot of time and money and or course patience's to restore a car. Thanks for the comment and more episodes will follow. Jamie

Ok, I see David commented on door braces, I don't have to. I would not be walking on the floors with no frame under it. It looks like , from what i could see, that the steering column support bracket on the bulkhead is in good shape, but look at it as they tend to break off, you may see some cracks on the top edge where it is bent at a sharp 90 degree angle. I am looking forward to seeing this car as it is being repaired. Cheers!

Yes thank you for your comment. This car is getting great response and seems to be a lot of fans of these out there. I'm super excited to restore this as it the first I've tackled. Thanks also for the steering support tip. Ill make sure to check it out when it returns from blasting. I am expecting comments for the lack of braces to the body 😁 I will be making the gaps perfect when it goes back together. Well better than factory hopefully 😂 Great you are following. Will have more progress soon. Jamie

My old boss man had a TR6. He told me its a mans car. It was in the day. Put a holley sniper2 on it. They good engines..the Gearing a bit out for long runs..but should have over drive..looks dam good. Good luck..

Yes exactly!!! A mans car for sure. I have been talking with my friend and owner Oli about ditching the fuel injections and adding carbs. They sound great and are simple. Thanks for your comment. Jamie

@@jamiedowson6482 check out Thunderhead289. He invented a computer for Carbs. Adjusts all your running. It would work perfect on triple Carbs. Carb Cheater I think it's called. And UrchFab put some carbs set up on his mungrel build..good video. Good luck. Strait car..be a fun car if not a Garage Queen. .

I was going to mention bracing as every TR6 restoration mentions how important it is 😊. I'm sure you will know soon the condition of the chassis arms where the trailing arms fix..prone to be bad. Loving the video as i plan to remove the body on mine back end of the year.

Thanks you for your kind comment. I will have a lot of alignment with the doors etc and especially as we need to purchase new aftermarket panels. Cant wait to start repairing the body. Good luck with your project and hope you continue to watch the video updates. Thanks Jamie

Who needs a lift when there are two strong men 😂 and I saw you had a "heated" discussion about what to take to a blaster 😊😊

Remember how many shims go between the chassis and body…. Important when you reassemble !!!

Thanks and yes normally if I was putting the body straight back to the chassis then I would but the car needs a lot of body work and am using some after markets panels so all gaps etc will be realigned. Thanks Jamie
