Personally I feel the change of paint is poor choice. I hope it isn't standard and you are given options. The 650r isn't really meant to be a baby cbr1000r, thats the 600rr's job. the 650 is the economical daily rider upgrade from the 500r. Racing stripes doesnt seem fitting to the role of the bike at all. Casual colors like the older dark red give it some identity rather than pretending to be a track bike. Also edit note : new headlights are just ugly theres no shot we changed to that lets hope its just lighting.
genuinely curious, but can you please elaborate? I agree the tail design is better in sportbike's design, but the front looks like the design detail is tone down , the stickers make it look more like a "pocket circuit race car".
Man I hate the weird angular nose-shield things they added to the 2024 front end. The 2023 looked so much more front heavy and aggressive without them.
The new one looks more aggressive and looks more like a sport bike. The old one never grew on me because is kinda looked like a naked bike with bolted on fairings. Good job to honda
isnt it boring as hell that Honda throws that HRC livery to all of it's model? Just like Kawasaki with the KRT livery... I preferred the old days with the simple red-green-whatever colors, and the fancy top models had the racing inspired livery :D BTW the "old" (23) CBR650R Grand Prix Red is something gorgeous paint and unique
@@deniszhansen2336 yes, the old one looks so much better, but still it doesnt justify buying the old one, just for the front headlight. But I guess that changing the front wont be easy.
Designwise I think everything except the rear breaking light look better on the 2023 model. The e-clutch and display seems worth a thought though...really torn apart which one I should get, but I'm leaning towards the 2023 model...any recommendations? (I'm just starting driving motorcycles)
I wouldn't recommend the E-Clutch for beginners. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Beginners who learn with the E-Clutch learn nothing about the clutch, and won't be able to ride a bike without one. Very arcade-game riding. Yet people who know how to shift and have the muscle memory would have absolutely no reason for an E-Clutch. Perhaps older riders who are losing their ability and need more focus on the road, or those with conditions causing pain in their hands with heavy clutch work. Point is just get the regular version. You'll have much more fun and satisfaction while riding as you learn to perfect your shifts and make your ride as smooth as possible. Plus, it's not even difficult, once you've got the muscle memory you never have to think about it again. Like patting your head and rubbing your stomach.
I have the 2022 cbr650r and i would admit that the new tail is better, old front is love because it is same as 1000rr. Yes, e-clutch and tft is good to have features and i wish older models were also upgradable, however, i can live with an e clutch, i am just planning to ad a 6 inch display for Android auto
23' dash and headlight looks better. Sad move on both. It's a shame these newly brought in tft displays don't have the same style and charm as the older ones.
New design is look sexy compared to previous model especially the rear of the bike is now more sporty❤ and front of the bike is now smooth and Sharp in the end the design upgrade is worth and sporty:-)
Does anyone know if the exhaust set up is the same at the 2023. I’m looking to put a new exhaust in my 2024 but there is hardly any because it’s so new. Does anyone know ?
It seems a great bike. Little heavy for a sportbike though. If it shed about 15kgs, that would be ideal, though it does help for stability. Unlike others, i think the front is designed far better than the previous model, which is far too squished and odd looking.
I was impressed with the horsepower for a 650cc twin. But when you said it's an inline 4 you lost me. They still make a cbr600 right? Same cylinders, smaller displacement and 25 hp more. Inline 4s are so timid in their power delivery compared to a twin. I don't get why they would make this an inline 4
Okay I’m glad you bring it up, this bike is designed for someone like me. I hate the jumpy feel of parallel twins I love a butter smooth inline 4, I love that inline fours have a dual character at low speeds the bikes just a looker and if you rev it out parallel twins stand no chance. Coming to 600 v 650 yes the still make the 600 which is a direct competitor to the zx6r but this bike is an Il4 sports tourer/city bike with it’s upright riding position. Overall I love this bike.
I don't need either... I am not doing any track days nor I am a beginner... I hope this is something which is an option and not something which will get shoved down the customers throat by increasing the cost unnecessarily
U can't say that the new one looks worst. After all it's a CBR bike guys. It is supposed to look agressive and not like old gen. Get a CB650R if u want street bike but leave the CBR for real sport bike riders.
In Phils. eClutch model cost 💵₱564K a 💵₱40K increase from standard model which is way too much unlike in european counties increase is not that high & just right
Your comparison videos are just one of it´s kind, very good, don´t change anything, you could not make it any better ! ! !
Its kind. Not it’s.

I think for the new 2024 CBR model has better "tail" looks from sideview 3:40 compare to previous models..🔥
Yeah same, shame tho cuz front look was way smoother and muscular on 2023 😅 loved it on cbr1000 cb 500 too.
@@thomasbouvier3203Agree... and the front looks is a bit like 2012 CBR Fireblade as well😅
@@piee93able but its a clearly a wait and see bike as so many look better in person ;)
Yep. The only thing I didn’t like about the old design was the tail.
you can buy better aftermarket tail tho
I like the old design more.
the face of the new headlight looked like a narrowed headlight of the 2013 CBR1000RR
@@ammoniti0n more like the 2017 CBR1000 for the nose
Prefered all nose, but new rear, yummy. And tft is nice addition.
That said i m more a cb650 fan so… glad i miss nothing ;p
Not me. The new one looks like the CBR1000RR. That’s good.
@@vika0194 no it look like an old cbr1000…. Cbr600rr look like a copy pasta cbr1000rr with underseat exhaust and that is top
I already sold my 2021 version, love to have this 2024 😍😍 great features
Glad I found this channel. Spot on comparisons

I personally like the old design of CBR 650r 😅
Me too :D
yeah, The new facelift look is only suitable with Fireblade SP, 650 needed that Neo look again, But the tail looks great though
Unpopular opinion but i love the new design, I believe it is a great improvemen.
Heck yeah

@@justeriagoofball7587 While the tail lights in 2024 is much better...the front looks more 'honda' than whatever the last year had.
headlight: old version
rear and taillight: new version
feature: new version
you read my mind! couldnt agree more 😄
Old gen headlight + new gen rear section would be perfect
Great comparison as always!
I just bought the outgoin model last week hehe
same, got my cbr650r 2023 version 1 month ago xD Btw no difference on engine just a sligthly better look, optional e clutch and new display
Really hope this comes to the States

i agree
Old one looked ass but yeah subjective
absolutely worth it
the front was better in the previous model but the back here is cool
I love your comparison vidoes
23 model’s front design much better. For Rest 24 has good upgrades
I still like my old one but the tail and pillion seat looks dope
The new one looks more aggressive and looks more like a sport bike. The old one never grew on me because is kinda looked like a naked bike with bolted on fairings. Good job to honda
Yeah the front was way more to bulky fir me like , even tho irl it looked nice I rather take the new one

Amazing job, keep it up ;)
Nice comparisson.... well designed update
Do you think it would be possible to change the whole headlight and fairing of the new bike and put the old one?
That would be a good solution. The old front looked so much better. To me it is like they changed a modern design to a 10 year old design…
@@deniszhansen2336 yes, the old one looks so much better, but still it doesnt justify buying the old one, just for the front headlight. But I guess that changing the front wont be easy.
Old is gold ❤
Everything is okay but why go backwards design wise??
I hope you can do the 2023 CBR 500R and 2024 CBR 500R as well 🙏🥺

Absolutely Look Amazing this 2024 model ,but no more power ❤️

Not crazy about the large v-shape cutout on the side fairings and wish they would flush mount the turn indicators. But she has a nice rear end.

What about stock tyres? What branded tyres do they both have? The same or different
23' dash and headlight looks better. Sad move on both. It's a shame these newly brought in tft displays don't have the same style and charm as the older ones.
Waiting for the comparison of the ninja 500 against all the beginner bikes
The only thing better of the new one is the more agresivo taillight, the rest is just better looking in the old model, new one seems kinda generic
I still see no reason to replace my 2015 CBR650F with new model.. I wonder when will they make a major improvement.

Would this be a good first bike?
Can anyone explain to me why the headlights are different on here versus their website on the 2024 model
Is the quickshifter on the 2024 non-Eclutch bike up and down?
because on the 2023 is only up.
I think only down
Is the quickshifter of the 2024 version bidirectional or not?
Has the 2024 newer one lost the 2023 passenger hand grips?
Wish you talked more about the supposed drive by wire system though! Whats the difference again?
Does anyone know if the exhaust set up is the same at the 2023. I’m looking to put a new exhaust in my 2024 but there is hardly any because it’s so new. Does anyone know ?

the new 24 is more sporty ! i just wish'd that honda makes some extra hp .. :S
The wheel barrow is back!
New❤🎉😢😮😊cb650r
They should make a modification that just makes it Automatic for you! I would buy it!
Why would you need a quick shifter….if you have an e clutch?
it's if u option it with just the standard transmission
They should focus on making it lighter instead of an E clutch thing
Anyone know if a 2023 yoshimura exhuast fit the new 2024 cbr?
‘’slight price increase’’ meanwhile in Norway: *goes up £2K*

The new fascia reminds me of the CBR300R
