Good review of an excellent bike. On my list for next year. 4-cyl beauty. Yes, the e-clutch takes away that sometimes distracted awkward clutching experience that many dread (not everyone), but you still need to do the shifting yourself. (but I can only confirm this perhaps next year). other YTers have confirmed this already;
I wouldn’t say it is shifting for me when you talking about the e-clutch. I’m the one doing the shifting, but the bike is clutching in and clutching out for me. That’s how I understood it. Thanks for the review, it was really good
Just a personal preference: enjoy the reviews a lot. Please consider using a dark background at the end for the scores - the video is generally dark and suddenly the white/bright scores slides are blinding for someone like me. Only a request - keep up the good work;
Best selling sportbike (albeit sport tourer) in Europe. They can’t seem to move them in the US. Had my heart set on one till they discontinued for US, got a zx4rr, now they announce the updated version is coming to US
I rode this back to back against the CBR600RR. This was very comfortable and is a lovely bike, but in literally every other way the RR was far superior, far more fun to ride and not much more expensive. RR every day of the week!
It’s a smidge high but it is literally the only 4 cylinder 650 class option in the US 1 of only 2 under 1000cc class 4 cylinders in the US. EDIT- 3, forgot about gsxr750 Honda reliability It’s only 4 cylinder competitor is a zx4r which has a negligible price difference considering e-clutch and 250 more cc. The real question do us larger/heavier/taller pure street, fully-faired riders(that’s hell-bent on more than 2 cylinders) for this or spend a little more for the R9?
Europe seems to love them. Best selling sport bike over there. Comfortable sport tourer, good power, low stress Honda engine. Good all around bike but not a super sport. US market has moved away from SS bikes, oddly they don’t sell many here
You are probably thinking of the Honda cbr600rr, a BEAUTIFUL race replica, with 120 hp and 4 cyl. It doesn’t have gas gauge, it has an indicator when the fuel reaches reserve. Doesn’t shock me.
Honda made their 650 look most like a super sport than any other manufacturer
hands down the best looking and sounding 650 on the market.
@@RealNoobmaster I disagree... Design wise it's a step down from the previous gen as the curves and the color of the previous gen was amazing
@ well everybody have their own taste, so not gonna argue. Rear end is hotter than previous gen in my opinion.
@@entername3840100% agree with this! 2022 model of the cbr was the best, a step down for sure with 2024
Best review on this bike by far. I was torn between this bike and the 600rr but after pricing and sitting on both I'm getting the 650r.
Thank you for watching!!

@@ashrafc7794 you’re correct! It doesn’t shift for you, it only helps with clutch operations!
You can turn off the E clutch, that's my buying point, because I freak out in hill starts around traffic
@@dlc85007 I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We have the worst traffic in all of North America. This E-Clutch will be a Godsend here

Call it "CLUTCH SHIFTER WITH A BRAIN" 😊

Won't that exhaust fill up with rain if you park up on a rainy day and its facing up like that?
Much looking forward to your H2 SX SE review 😊
+1, since I have one 😉
Closest thing to the E-Clutch would be Aston Martin's Sportmatic "manual" that shifts a manual gearbox through computer controlled hydraulics.
I rode this back to back against the CBR600RR. This was very comfortable and is a lovely bike, but in literally every other way the RR was far superior, far more fun to ride and not much more expensive. RR every day of the week!
Have this bike. It's fantastic 😊
Great Review 👍
I need to look for more of your videos.
Please don't compare to Ninja 650 (P-Twin junk), the Daytona 660 would be more comparable.
Correction: The E-Clutch doesn’t shift for you, it only assists you with clutch operations. Anyways, is this Honda worth $9,900?

Yes, comfortable, plenty of power and low stress Honda engine will last forever. Good commuting or everyday bike

Amazing bike I'm getting one for sure

Great review 👌
nice video Emad
When you actually turn it off in the system it not as loose.
I noticed that you didnt go over the size and thread of every single bolt. You said you would “go wheel to wheel and everything in between”.
😧☝🏼
Any chance you’re going to review the CB650R?
For a 5'7" tall guy, 55yrs old. Do you recommend this bike? l'm manifesting to own this bike. Thanks
