Well, Gloom is good, but not OP. Remember, Eximus and Nullifier units still exist. Also things like Eclipse, Roar and Nourish still exist. It's just that Gloom synergises well with Melee-based frames, or frames that profit from Melee(Nekros' multi-corpse bug still works with his Desecrate, that's why he still loves his meat MINCED) Other than that, it's just Sevagoth's ability combos being Meh, his shadow being too cumbersome and him being kinda weak in terms of tankyness(that small HP pool makes Nekros and Yareli look like Inaros). Honestly, give us an augment for Shadow to follow us and attack/cast abilities like Umbra does, and I'd show ya some insane stuff.
Thank you for taking the time to make such an in-depth video on my favorite warframe. Until we get an actual werewolf frame, He's probably gonna stay my main. I've always personally hated the helminth system due to how it undermines the themes of each warframe and the way the system undermined Sevagoth only made this worse. A bit of a question I have for you, what is your opinion on how warframe handles firearms? To me, current state of the game makes guns feel more like complicated number generators rather than actual weapons. I understand there needs to be a way to make the game harder, but I still think bullets should be bullets. Long story short, I was curious if you think this works well for warframe or if it should be changed to eliminate a lot of the frustrations new players face when getting into the game. Thank you again for your efforts, this content is amazing.
Other frames are even more forgot that people forgot they are forgotten lol.. at least sevagoth is new and can receive some augments or something to be remembered again
Fun fact about the augments, they gave every warframe an augment up until Sevagoth, then they skipped him and gave Yareli one, which was the next frame, so they literally skipped only him over here
His kit is good but it requires you to put in a lot to make it better honestly he need a touch up not a rework all of his kit is great including his 4 doing true damage and even his resection passive that fun fact he can be built around dieing and the five kills to resect. I hope that they update his shadow, it’s a really great ability but it needs better abilities and/or the ability to helmenth its abilities imagine how op his shadow for would be if he could use roar on the shadow instead of the aoe thing
Sevagoth enjoyer reporting in! Now we are with two :D Seriously though, he has one of the coolest designs, I love his Stand ultimate and he's totally SP viable as well with Gloom and some good power strength (And atleast like 10 forma i think? :)). 💪
No offense but it wasn't hard to get sevagoth even in rj missions and wasn't hard to build the rss were abundant unless new to railjack but only couple hrs to grind for regardless
immediately as I saw the title I remembered that one moment when sevagoth launched that I started to main him but that got thrown out the window within like 2 months and now he only acts as the useful subsume
One of my biggest gripes with Sevagoth is the need to forma 3 different items to fit everything on. You have to forma the frame, the shadow, AND the claws if you want to fully optimize him. The amount of leveling and forma required is insane and really highlighted the issue of building up exalted weapons. I don't know why you can't put a free forma onto them when you forma the frame itself.
While I respect your opinion and it's really valid I disagree I kinda like jt sev can be one of the most S teir characters but he needs alot of investment and I kinda like that
Exactly!!! When you forma a warframe, their exalted weapons should get the forma too, with sevagoth its like building 3 warframes with the amount of forma spent.
Honestly i think he needs awesome augments, for example, an augment for his 4th that instead of you getting control of it, the shadow just goes behind you and attacks when you attack with melee, or something like that
Sevegoth is also a forma devourer. To really squeeze the best out of all his kit, you're going to want like 3 forma on sevegoth, 3 on the shadow, and 3 on the claws. He just doesn't feel worth that many forma for the limitations he has, and the difficulty farming him. Sevegoth's first augment mod, if they ever give him one, should be one that lets the energy in his non equipped form, regenerate while in the other form. It became tedious to leave shadow, and then later return to shadow, and realize you've got like 5 energy and can't use any powers yet, or you swap back to sevegoth, and face the same problem. That would make him more appealing right there, because its easy to forget where an alt forms energy pool left off, while you're running around killing stuff in another form.
For the Shadow, equip preparation, yeah, that meme mod of starting with filled energy? Well results i counts has a spawn each time you summon it, so you will have that amount of energy each time
@@NovaUmbral well to be more precise, it works like this: Gloom is your option when you either: 1. Facing a&&hole acolytes like Loki and Limbo, as well as Nekros(summoning shadow Acolytes) and Frost (after 1 hour late in Void Relic SP survival) . 2. You are alone, so you need all the tank layers that you have, on top of obvious Shield of Shadows + Adaptation combo. I was positively surprised that Despoil&Equilibrium combo WAS NOT ruined by Gloom's drain. Because I still had INFINITE MANA as long as I killed enemies. Even with Energy Effincency being around 50% or even less.
@@chainsawplayin oh, gee, so "original" and "funny". We are all literally shitting ourselves from laughter over here. Here's your clown pass, you dropped it back in your kindergarten.
I absolutely loved Sevagoth when he was released, so much so that he’s still my number 1 most used frame even after months of not playing him. His design, theme and exalted form are all very cool and unique. He definitely has some good things going for him too being Gloom, his passive, and his extremely powerful shadow form/claws. The reason I stopped liking him so much is his performance. I just don’t like the way he wants to be built and I think other frames can both utilize Gloom better and accomplish tasks better. He wants heavy investment into strength but also needs at least a little bit of every other stat which really limits the builds imo. I always subsume off Sow because that’s his most useless ability, but there aren’t really any helminth ability synergies that he can do something new or special with. He’s also very energy hungry and even with arcane energize it can be hard to maintain. To be fair, the archon shard system and armor strip buffs have probably diversified his building a bit so I’ll have to revisit him some time. I would realllllly like to see Sevagoth get some augment mods because I think that could potentially bring something new and exciting for him.
I Wana add to what you all said also. And for his fourth ability being that Warframe is a fast paced game when I first got to using his shadow form I had a second thought like wait it's a shadow shouldn't shadows be fast? Like wulongd most ability and then I thought to myself why didn't they just go with an all melee titania thing where he basically flies around like an archwing in mission but can only use his claws, meaning melee only? Then at least he could keept up with other frames if playing multiplayer idk I think they rushed his kit cuz as a Warframe himself I think took a long time to create he really needs a touch up or reword on his abilities cuz I absolutely went berserk when I first saw him, like you I want to main the crap outta him but his performance falls flat and he is immensely energy hungry it's rediculous cuz all of his abilities need eachother to make the most of the abilities and that requires much more energy which isn't fair, honestly after they made lavos I was kinda hoping they would start integrating more cool down abilities in other Warframes but alas has not happened
I got a tauforged amber archon shard for extra energy pickup, very very very nice to have. Honestly never really have energy problems. Edit: Also I don't even have arcane energize either.
The worst bug I ever encountered as a Sevagoth main is the tendency of his shadow to not spawn when he's downed. The tombstone he's supposed to turn into doesn't appear either. Sevagoth just freezes helplessly in a constipated pose. How unreliable his passive is, however, doesn't make me adore him any less.
I absolutely love him, but the bugs and jankiness makes it hard ngl and bc of it, I tend to pick my other frames I like (Nidus, Grendel, Lavos, and even Khora - I have a lot of favs lol)
These recent videos of yours are so, so amazing and enjoyable. I'm slightly new to Warframe and it's very interesting to me to learn about the little history of warframe releases and I was wondering why Sevagoth was basically unused not long before this upload. Keep up the good work!
People be sleeping on Silence Sevagoth for REAL. 95% slow as the enemies do that “aaah I can’t hear” stun animation? It’s really damn good! Silence turns off a lot of Eximus Auras too, so it makes survivals even easier, and you have plenty of space to breath + use your Shadow!
@@snowlprincxss Yeah, I could but She's not as survivalable Gotta chose between either keeping her 1 or 4, neither of which are as good as Sevagoths abilities imo And I know sonar is amazing damage amp ability, I used to use it a lot, but Sevagoths Shadow is just so much better imo.
@@ThatHollowGuy Keeping Banshee's 1 is a no-brainer; With the augment it's a very good armor strip, so it's always going to be her 4 that gets switched out....
He is one of my favorite frames in the game I find his aesthetics and gameplay really fun and can’t wait for his prime or an augment to come out for my spooky boi
Sevagoth is to me one of the most intresting and more complex frames in the game, also lore wise he is VERY intresting with his whole "I may be gods most edgy boy but I actually saved lives of many MANY people from voud stroms and hostile pirates out in space with my railjack, the Tempistari." And I like his quest was about putting him to rest. His kit is super duper cool but again its a little odd, Its like Baruuk but if instead of Baruuk getting to become a air bender instead he activates his four and Valkyr with good abilities just popped out and went ham. Also he suffers a lot from issue of most frames do his job with less setup, are easier to get and can feel more fun. Also having to play railjack for most people makes him a pain to get but I happen to LOVE railjack and even with all my time in Railjack I've barely actually seen his parts, he is kinda unnecessarily a pain to get. All in all, cool frame, Ima stick to Baruuk memes Edit: Sleeping in the cold below fucking SMACKS and the Tempistari skin SMACKS and also Gloom is good on everyone
Reap and Sow shouldn't be separate abilities. One should be on tap, the other on hold. It feels like we've regressed all the way back to Ember's Accelerant days, the way one ability serves entirely to buff another. If Sevagoth could've had either a movement ability, or a tanking ability in that slot instead, he'd catch up to the meta.
Another note is that Sevagoth's shadow is unaffected by nullifier's bubble however if you're in shadow form and Sevagoth himself is in the nullifier's bubble it will kick you out of shadow form.
I put 17 forma into my sevagoth. I love the theme and playstyle that much. I went from a combo build on his shadow to a heavy attack build. I pretty much play as a regular frame but switch to shadow for a quick kill on a heavy unit. I like him a lot on disruption missions or against acolytes.
I love Sevagoth, but not only he has 3 things requiring formas (claws, his clone and himself), but also he's not prime. I won't throw 20 formas into him just to repeat that process when prime version releses.
You don't have to do that unless you're a perfectionist/or sometimes the base frame is better if you're a perfectionist. I personally didn't invest in Nekros P because I could care less about reinvesting. Base Nekros has a smaller shield capacity making my shield-gate set-up more reliable. So my base Nekros is Umbral and has 5 archon shards lol.
He's my favorite frame and I've been playing for a number of years. The moment he came out I was hyped for his prime, and he's my new most commonly used frame just cause his theme and kit are fun.
We got voruna now and I use her more than him but he is fun to play and makes you feel powerful. The pain is to farm him so I can get his helminth and still have sevagoth.
Love to see Sevagoth getting some much-needed recognition, he's still my most used frame by a long shot simply by the fact that he's just extremely fun to use and pretty solid in early-to-mid game content Oh and fashion speaking he's one of the coolest frames out there so win-win
When Sevagoth first came out, I was super excited to try him, but at the time I didn't have Railjack and I was playing pretty slowly at the time so I never actually got him before I took a break from the game. Also I'd love a video about one of the trio of beginner Frames or Loki.
I love your vids NovaUmbral. I'm new to the game and mostly completing the star chart, questing, farming MR and early standing, and building cool shit I wanna try like Citrine. Anyways, I watch your videos a lot while I'm playing and although I don't understand everything you talk about in your vids, I have definitely already learned a lot
Problem is, a lot of frames go largely ignored at this point, and that's not just because of how many options there are now, but because of how quickly they've been throwing them out. Until around 2018 or so, seeing a new frame be announced was an exciting occasion that got the whole community hyped over it, and it was always something that you could tell they put a lot of work and thought into. Nowadays, they just casually announce a frame on every other devstream, and generally have anywhere between 3 and 4 of them in development at once. Half the time, you can't even tell what the theme of the frame is even supposed to be, as they just throw seemingly randomly selected powers together, give it yet another super cluttered design, and call it a day. Warframes used to be developed with a quality over quantity mindset, and now it's the other way around. Sure, you'll still see the occasional new frame that's really unique and has good abilities, but for the most part what we usually get these days is just frames that either just do the same things the older frames already do and do better, or they do something unique that is so incredibly situational or impractical that nobody bothers trying to use it over the simpler and often more effective options the game offers. It really doesn't help either that they've been slowly making each new frame even more of a grind to obtain than the last, and most players aren't going to waste their time grinding for something that isn't even all that extraordinary. DE just needs to dial back on pumping out new warframes left and right, only adding one when they actually have a really good idea instead of trying to throw out something new whether they've got a good idea or not just for the sake of having a new frame to announce. Though, DE's commitment to prioritizing hype generation at all costs is something that negatively affects every aspect of this game, not just the warframes, and it has for years now.
I'm guessing this is why they're dropping slowly for uh "Warframe 2", Soulframe. I personally stopped playing a couple months ago, early august last year, burned out from farming them content isles, didn't do Cetus nor the Raquis, got the arcanes I wanted from pub trilodon hunting, begrudgingly did Vallis for Yareli and the Kitguns, then solo'd most if not all my way into Deimos for the subsuming thing. AND left there. Really can't bother to finish the grind to unlock even the New War, new content really isn't worth grinding for, there's no reason for me to keep going after having reached mr30.
I actually used him nearly non-stop for months when he came out. And then DE decided to make Eximus' units imune to CC, meaning alot less survivability and damage for the Shadow as he can no longer yoink them into melee range and 1-shot them.
I started watching and immediately liked for that opening. Just the editing put into matching with the beat told me I was about to watch quality content.
I think gloom should not drain main sevagoths energy while you're in shadow. It's annoying and needlessly frigid. You're asked to keep track of an energy bar you can't see while also piloting shadow, not to mention shadow consuming energy pickups. If you ever get carried away slicing enemies up with shadow (the fun part!!), gloom turns off which means you instantly transform from deadly to without energy. And since shadow ate all the energy drops, you have no way of getting any, so your best bet is a pizza, which isn't fast enough, and has a cooldown in SP, so you just kinda die. Not to mention you don't have any weapon arcanes or buffs stacked up. So there you are, doing unbuffed damage to a growing horde, all because you dared use your fun ability. Maybe voruna subsume could help with this, idk, but I wish sevagoth and shadow shared energy or got somw other energy management buffs.
So in short he’s one of the most sought-after warframes, but only for mastery fodder before being fed into the helminth woodchipper so he never sees use.
Ngl I think Sevagoth is an excellent frame. His damage output is great and his abilities work together perfectly. That and he looks so awesome as well. Now yes better frames exist (Xaku main here) but the effort is worth it IMO just for the fun factor.
As someone who had his main’s playstyle changed so many times, I could see Gloom getting nerfed or tweeked. But I feel if they made some drastic change to Gloom, there will be people rioting
I still love Sevagoth tbh. His drip was my first reason to get him but his theme execution, kit complexity and duality of semi-support (Sevagoth's Gloom) and damage (Shadow + Claws) just fits what I didn't know I was looking for. The obvious gripe would be having to forma Sevagoth himself, his Shadow and the Claws to optimize everything though.
I would happily main him as his design is already so cool and the lore and all but one thing that discourages me is the nature of the helminth system as consumed warframes are gone gone plus knowing that every warframe will have its prime variant with no exception as we saw with Valkyr and Nidus, we cannot transfer forma not even reactors from non-prime to prime variants (not that I'm asking to) but I'm just not gonna put in the effort to build him now when a better variant is confirmed in what 2 years, maybe I am the problem but that's how I see it, the farming is fine at least for me, I have enough parts to build what 3 sevagoths bc I sometimes do skirmish void storms to farm intrinsics, I do use some non-primed warframes(mainly Lavos and Wisp) but with minimum effort so a reactor is all they get, I think one more thing that helped discouraging people from using Sevagoth is the fact that he doesn't have any aura polarity as that's basically a mandatory forma sry for any grammatical errors btw, english is my 3rd language and I'm still learning
I'm a (Wraith) Sevagoth main, got 33% usage and 150m experience on him. Main reasons I play him are for the edginess but I also like being able to build his base form and ghost form differently. I build his base form for the max gloom slow of 95% and his ghost form for range and duration. A cool thing to note is that the archon shards put on his base form also affect his ghost form. I think if DE nerfed the gloom subsume ability to take away either the slow or heal, sevagoth may become more popular.
@@_4shy yeah, because Pablo is a narrow-minded jerk with no sense of "fun". He thinks it's fun scrouging for every single small resource, and I am not kidding.
I agree. The Sevagoth is a under used frame (and gloom is over used ability). Two builds that I like to run are a Breach Surge, Reap and Sow nuke build ( %based damage creating damage multiplied sparks hiting -DR targets is nice. ) and a Nourish + Gloom stun lock build. (Used to be Piecing Roar but Nourish does similar and has increased energy management)
After having watched more of the video you have earned my sub. I've played one and off since the closed alphas and this video was very well put together.
Found your channel 2 days ago and i have watched all your warframe videos. Love the content, even though i don't play warframe anymore. Keep it up man.
I leveled Sevagoth and never really struggled playing him in the content but... I absolutely have never understood what his kit was all about. I never "got" him. So very grateful for this particular vid!
My spooky boi, my absolute favorite Warframe I definitely agree with most of the buff ideas I think when (not if) subsume gloom gets nerfed Sev will be in a better spot, some cosmetics would also help Also for newer Sev players, out rolling guard on the shadow it makes surviving easier, and make the passive guaranteed revives as long as there are enemies around
I feel like a big reason he isn't used nowadays is because of the massive Forma investment. Being a non-prime, a tank build usually takes 5-6 forma. With more forma needed to be invested into his Claws and Shadow, it's enough to turn most casual players away, especially with the fact it takes a day to craft each forma.
Sell 2 frame sets, buy 5 of the 3 forma bundles for 175p, done. Or if you've got the blueprints stashed, 150p to rush all the forma, done. Can have all the forma you need in one afternoons effort 👌
1:07 I have to wonder if you said that knowing about the "sevagoth's shadow appears behind the arsenal if you look at a sevagoth link" glitch when he first came out
The sole reason I don't have Wukong is because he's clan exclusive. I hate the concept of begging others for help and I can't join my friend's dojo because he's on a platform I refuse to play warframe on (switch) So I'd probably get this frame before Wukong... But then again...I'm new to warframe and only started because of cross play.
Sevagoth is so great that players strive to play railjack, get to veil missions, grind veil relic runs. It's such an accomplishment when acquiring him, max him and subsume him to get gloom to use on other frames😎
I would argue Void Storms are one of the most rewarding farms in the game. It gives relics, void traces, keys for tenant weapons, cracks relics, and a warframe part.
Honestly while I agree that Gloom being an amazing Subsumable ability really kicks Sevagoth where it hurts, I'm also glad that such a good ability is subsumable. I don't want it to be removed or changed to no longer be his Subsume, I'd just like to see his other abilities brought up to speed to make him worth using on his own, rather than just Helminth fodder to get his 3. He is honestly a really interesting frame with neat abilities, but I agree that some parts of his kit could/should be buffed or changed in some way to further enhance them and their synergy with one another. It'd probably be pretty easy to overdo it and suddenly turn him from a sleeper into a meta monster, but surely it could be implemented and tweaked over a few patches to make him formidable on his own without making him blatantly OP.
I love your editing! and about sevagothic-boy. for me it is insane forma sink. I dont wanna spend so much time and resources and then just sell it for credits when prime will come. (even though I have enough forma in my inventory I dont have that much time). but in the future, I will try to learn how to play him. I guess.
Can't wait for you to review my favorite Warframe that no one plays - Octavia! She's so fucking busted and yet there's barely anyone running her. Oh, and she has the best Tennogen skin that turns her basically into Hatsune Miku.
This video sold me. Bought Sev, and it was absolutely worth it. Cannon fodder is just food for the well with extra steps, and his shadow can be a get out of trouble free card on a regular basis.
I think Sevagoth's big problem is the lack of oomph between his reap and sow synergy. You have to spam his 1 over and over again to get value out of it, and it feels very unpleasant. His best power, his 3, is subsumable. He requires a metric ton of forma to properly invest in, and is obtained from Railjack. He's just doomed to not be played much.
I have mained Sevagoth and have since his release. His constant bugs and some issues with how his stats are really work against people trying to get to learn him. Not even the Naramon passive works for his shadow making it really hard to justify him to people who like exalted weaponry. That being said, I will remain firm and main him until he gets a prime.
I am honestly praying his prime form looks more like his concept art cuz his concept art was sooooo sick, and maybe a rework or touch up on his abilities, big time
@@davidm.schreckii1426 I too, am waiting for the prime. Currently working on stockpiling forma and MR levels. Ability rework wouldn't be bad but I personally think gloom in the helminth should be altered to not be as strong as it is on Sevagoth.
Heya, one of all 4 sevagoth mains here! This video is honestly incredible and perfectly addresses a lot of issues he indeed has, its great to see someone take the time and effort to delve into the topic and discuss the why and how about my favourite ghost. I've been able to outperformed many meta dps frames and even tanks with how I have mine built but it is undeniable that the resource cost to get there was high, even without taking into account railjack. For my I found it to be very much worth it and love messing with his kit and unique playstyle, even if its very unconventional. Thinking about it now even his prime will be equally expensive since the parts will most likely require railjack resources much like his base parts, and you still need to run relic farming AND cracking. Part of me wonders if DE will address it or not, though either way I'm content enough with my sevagoth. (Also small note for those who noticed the passive bug in this video, it was fixed in citrines last wish so no need to worry!)
If I had a choice on how to increase sevagoths popularity, I'd probably buff the reap+ sow combo probably to make it deal percent hp scaled off strength or make it deal viral damage instead of rad. If it was percent based (scaled off strength to a cap where at X amount of strength the 2 powers can combine and make a 1+2 punch that scales) there would be dmg fall off to counteract him nuking the entire map. If it was made to deal viral instead of rad, it wouldn't need falloff anymore and could potentially scale well into the kit considering it deals true dmg already and grants dmg vulnerability. DE could go the grendel or voruna route where a cast of sow (cause theming) plants 5 or 10 stacks of viral onto enemies in a certain radius scaled by range, then reap granting the dmg vulnerability debuff and allowing the frame to still 1+2 punch nuke. There could also be an augment released for his 4 that turns it into a melee only wuclone with full range of abilities. Maybe a hold to cast and tap to turn into the shadow could work.
It would be nice if they made his ultimate last forever until you return back to zevagoth or have that ultimate as a energy drain per second ability. Something like this. When he gets enough kills with his abilities he can release his shadow form and stay there as long as he wants until his shadow comes back or gets killed to start over the process or he can just have his ability just be a energy drain per second like the other frames cuz alot of people love his ultimate. I hope people would agree with this
Sev has become my main since his release. Je was strong before, now after his augment, he is a force. On demand red crits and vulnerability, aoe cc and heal, subsumed dispensary for just reliable energy and ammo, and Shadow the Eximus delete button. I use incarnon boar, it does low damage, but once I use reap, damage spikes ridiculously, slash procs delete steel path enemies with 1-2 pellets.

Yeah that's why I don't play him even though I love the frame and design. Waiting for the prime before I go all in with umbral forma etc.
@@aureliusxvincent that would help my titania cause of her diwata and dex pixia both need formas
@@leeleechi6560 Only reason he's S tier is bc of gloom
Honestly i think he needs awesome augments, for example, an augment for his 4th that instead of you getting control of it, the shadow just goes behind you and attacks when you attack with melee, or something like that
Definitely! It is so sad that he has no augments.

As awesome as that sounds, I'd rather see that as chroma's 4th, dude needs it, he's so boring
Nah fr i have a 1 forma limit on non primes
For the Shadow, equip preparation, yeah, that meme mod of starting with filled energy? Well results i counts has a spawn each time you summon it, so you will have that amount of energy each time

Umm, correction:
Nekros's shadows don't heal from Gloom. Tested it multiple times. But Nekros with Despoil&Equilibrium combo does become immortal.
Apologies I was browsing some nekros builds and a few people on youtube were saying that, ill edit the pinned to correct it!
@@NovaUmbral well to be more precise, it works like this:
Gloom is your option when you either:

Here's your clown pass, you dropped it back in your kindergarten.
even more nutty as you can save a mod slot by running Arcane Blessing instead of vitality, the safety given by Gloom making it work
I absolutely loved Sevagoth when he was released, so much so that he’s still my number 1 most used frame even after months of not playing him.
I actually love Sevagoth.. he's got awesome survivability..
I think he'll come back with more skins and augments.
Yea he's still kinda new. Still have alota things to get
Your prayers have been answered lol

All in all, cool frame, Ima stick to Baruuk memes
Edit: Sleeping in the cold below fucking SMACKS and the Tempistari skin SMACKS and also Gloom is good on everyone

When Sevagoth first came out, I was super excited to try him, but at the time I didn't have Railjack and I was playing pretty slowly at the time so I never actually got him before I took a break from the game.
Also I'd love a video about one of the trio of beginner Frames or Loki.
i noticed that the railjack quest can be done much faster now compared to months ago
Excellently put
I'm guessing this is why they're dropping slowly for uh "Warframe 2", Soulframe.
I personally stopped playing a couple months ago, early august last year, burned out from farming them content isles, didn't do Cetus nor the Raquis, got the arcanes I wanted from pub trilodon hunting, begrudgingly did Vallis for Yareli and the Kitguns, then solo'd most if not all my way into Deimos for the subsuming thing. AND left there. Really can't bother to finish the grind to unlock even the New War, new content really isn't worth grinding for, there's no reason for me to keep going after having reached mr30.
we dont talk about caliban
De is on a track record imo rn styanax and voruna are pretty solid ngl
They need to keep pumping new frames per year so they can keep releasing prime access every 4 months or so.
It's how they make money
I have no idea how he’s not one of the most popular characters he immediately gave me the best vibes
Energize on Shadow can give Sev energy.
Dude. I love your videos, as a player who has played for almost 7 years your Mesa video really took me back to the past.
Well uh now sevs pretty popular with his drippy prime. He seriously has the best prime design imo
And yet when his Prime releases everyone will sing his praises and say "oh yeah I've been a Sevagoth main this whole time!" 🙄

I think the helminth version should be changed because they changed other helminth abilities from the original.. the "highly used ones".
Yeah they made a relatively tame change to AoE and the chinese lost their damn minds. I think the gloom thing would tilt everyone lol
Man, one of my favorites Warframes, and one of my favorites Cyberspace Music as well
Sevagoth: What is my purpose?
Tenno: To subsume Gloom.
Sevagoth: (looks around) Oh my god…
😂😭
I still love Sevagoth tbh.
His drip was my first reason to get him but his theme execution, kit complexity and duality of semi-support (Sevagoth's Gloom) and damage (Shadow + Claws) just fits what I didn't know I was looking for.
The obvious gripe would be having to forma Sevagoth himself, his Shadow and the Claws to optimize everything though.
I would happily main him as his design is already so cool and the lore and all but one thing that discourages me is the nature of the helminth system as consumed warframes are gone gone plus knowing that every warframe will have its prime variant with no exception as we saw with Valkyr and Nidus, we cannot transfer forma not even reactors from non-prime to prime variants (not that I'm asking to) but I'm just not gonna put in the effort to build him now when a better variant is confirmed in what 2 years, maybe I am the problem but that's how I see it, the farming is fine at least for me, I have enough parts to build what 3 sevagoths bc I sometimes do skirmish void storms to farm intrinsics, I do use some non-primed warframes(mainly Lavos and Wisp) but with minimum effort so a reactor is all they get, I think one more thing that helped discouraging people from using Sevagoth is the fact that he doesn't have any aura polarity as that's basically a mandatory forma
sry for any grammatical errors btw, english is my 3rd language and I'm still learning
Sevagoth is good, but the thing is, he is just outshined by other warframes, especially those that profit from his Gloom.
D.E. will see this usage rate and either nerf gloom or make it diminished for helminth

No it's that his best ability can be used on any1 else
I forgot about Caliban way faster than Sevagoth
Oh and a heavy attack build on shadow is the best in slot option. One shots everything in steel path for hour's
I think if Sevagoth got a couple of good augments for his 1,2, or 4th that could really help him out.
Sleeping in the cold below is a banger though
Thought you should know that grind hard squad just pretty much copied your video.
Thanks for letting me know
He’s been copying many people’s videos lately. The textbook definition of a parasite.
(Used to be Piecing Roar but Nourish does similar and has increased energy management)
requires too much investment to get good and even then he is just mediocre
The trade off is not worth sadly, despite having a fully organized kit and abilities, he does need that extra push to become more popular and used
After having watched more of the video you have earned my sub. I've played one and off since the closed alphas and this video was very well put together.
Glad you liked the video

Ghs- oh what a nice vid, I should upload this to my channel tomorrow
As a Garuda main I'm really interested in Sevagoth who will soon become my second main
As an Inaros main, I cry every day.
I leveled Sevagoth and never really struggled playing him in the content but... I absolutely have never understood what his kit was all about. I never "got" him. So very grateful for this particular vid!
My spooky boi, my absolute favorite Warframe
I definitely agree with most of the buff ideas
I think when (not if) subsume gloom gets nerfed Sev will be in a better spot, some cosmetics would also help
Also for newer Sev players, out rolling guard on the shadow it makes surviving easier, and make the passive guaranteed revives as long as there are enemies around

I have to wonder if you said that knowing about the "sevagoth's shadow appears behind the arsenal if you look at a sevagoth link" glitch when he first came out
The sole reason I don't have Wukong is because he's clan exclusive. I hate the concept of begging others for help and I can't join my friend's dojo because he's on a platform I refuse to play warframe on (switch)
So I'd probably get this frame before Wukong... But then again...I'm new to warframe and only started because of cross play.
Sevagoth is so great that players strive to play railjack, get to veil missions, grind veil relic runs. It's such an accomplishment when acquiring him, max him and subsume him to get gloom to use on other frames😎
As an Inaros main, that flicker of him near the end hit hard.
When asked “drip or drown” sevagoth really chose both drip and drown
He isn’t used because he’s a pain to farm once, let alone twice since gloom is jus objectively better to have in helminth than on him
Farming him for the first time is considerably easier as you don't need to buy the BP from simaris.
Hydroid: I'm the pirate warframe.
Sevagoth: I'm the biggest bird.
i dont even play warframe anymore and i still watch your videos
I would argue Void Storms are one of the most rewarding farms in the game. It gives relics, void traces, keys for tenant weapons, cracks relics, and a warframe part.
imma be honest . . . . I only got him cause of how badass he is
This video got recomended to me right after Sevagoth got a Prime version lol
Hope he gets some love
Every time I see a Sevagoth video it makes me wanna play Warframe again. And then I open up the star chart and it all comes flooding back to me…
This video sold me. Bought Sev, and it was absolutely worth it. Cannon fodder is just food for the well with extra steps, and his shadow can be a get out of trouble free card on a regular basis.
I don't like the way he looks if he gets a cool jacket or something with a deluxe I'll use him until then not gonna touch him lmao
Im using him, one of my mosted used warframe.
And to your reasons ill also point out high upgrde cost because you need to forma him, shadow and claws
Now he has 2 augments that make him a nuke without sacrificing the rest of what he does.
There can only be one Jotaro at any given time.
love these videos, warframe documentaries hell yeah
What isnt mentioned is that both sets of arcanes are active all the time. Both main and shadow arcanes. Having 4 arcanes adds a lot of power.
F-cking excuse me. . . Are you serious?
@@adarkwind4712 Yeah, you can test it. It says it shouldn't / doesn't. But it really does.
Sevagoth has been my main since he came out, wasn't aware everyone forgot about my boi
Sevagoth main reporting to duty!
Sevagoth: “You don’t really want me, you just want me for my Gloom.” 🎶
It would be nice if they made his ultimate last forever until you return back to zevagoth or have that ultimate as a energy drain per second ability. Something like this. When he gets enough kills with his abilities he can release his shadow form and stay there as long as he wants until his shadow comes back or gets killed to start over the process or he can just have his ability just be a energy drain per second like the other frames cuz alot of people love his ultimate. I hope people would agree with this
