Can we make the jojo jeans in groovy guy fit? If you look Jotaro has flare in this school uniform it’ll match so well. Also I believe it’ll just fit the whole theme for iojos overall
We won't have a Groovy Guy option for the JoJo collection, but you'll be happy to know that we're dropping the Solid Black Selvedge in the Groovy Guy fit in the next few weeks.
@@snuffspoon that yellow flannel I think was from about 2 years back or so. They had that and a red/black. Probably impossible to find now unless you can get it 2nd hand or maybe a retailer that still is holding on to that. It's really nice though
Protip delivered: these Sumi Inks are gonna BLEEED (cuff too). YMMV but that shouldn't detour any fans of this denim. Can't wait to see the fades from this release
If you're used to wearing raws then this shouldn't phase you, it's more of a warning to those just getting into raw denim, or for people who don't typically expect black jeans to transfer so much dye.
Terry, I love incorporating plaids and prints into my sea of indigo, too! I actually own that same Flannel Work shirt. I think the color was called Dijon. I love to wear it with my Bane the Bat Breaker black selvedge jeans and a black henley. This fall, I will be upping my fit by switching out the non-descript henley with a Wonder Looper Ultimate Pima Tsuriami black t-shirt. Cool points HELLAVATED! 😎
I really want a pair of elephant 11s, and 12s too and tsumi ink and pagoda, and king of slub 2,and some redcore and like 20 other pairs. Can't wait for my turmeric in my first easy guy fit. And my slub nep rinsed easy shirt. I should get some ecru demin jeans for some contrast too. Oh also I need another job to pay for all these clothes. Tho i work in the building trades and can't wear nice clothes to work, but i do eventually wanna see how a pair will fade from work, might have to buy them on sale. Working with sheetmetal should have a good outcome. Maybe a few burn holes from welding... Okay I'll stop
I feel like I remember some video of ya'lls saying that the easy shirts have actually gotten roomier across all sizes in recent years, but that might just be me confusing a fever dream with reality. I have a medium easy shirt and the measurements do kinda line up with some of the smalls on your website, but that could be from shrink, so I dunno. Any chance ya'll can comment on that?
fun fact, it's both. Tate means vertical, but in the Japanese textile community it means warp, since the warp yarns are the vertical running yarns. The same goes for Yoko, it means horizontal, but also weft which are the horizontal running yarns.
Solid Blacks! Quick question about fit since you guys were talking about it in the video. I've read that the Unbranded UB201 is similar in cut to the Weird Guy. What Unbranded fit is similar to the True Guy? Thanks!
I wear the Weird Guy 34 waist and at 5'2 1/2" tall, I prefer not to hem. Instead, I fold up the cuff leaving the bottom inseam exposed. I am glad I did NOT have them hemmed because, even after more than 100 wears and 4 washes, the inseam still managed to shrink some more after the latest wash! Be careful not to cut them too short.
A little cinching isn't a big deal, it's much more comfortable than wearing jeans that are too snug. Personally (Bahzad here) I want a little room in the waist when I first start wearing a new pair.
0:52 OMFG!! every time he wears the cap that i wanna know what it is he never says. but as soon as he's wearing one i don't care about he tells us AARRRGGGG!!!!!
Yer great vid boys I find the double blacks a little snug fit compared to same size comparison jeans so yer I do agree I would of gorn size up in double black. Keep it real fellas!
Can't wait for my room to smell like candles instead of pupusa thanks boys
Hope you enjoy

@@NakedandFamousDenim agh! But that does sound very good 😂 thank you for replying so fast.
Another solid weekly episode. Also those computers in the back with the fedex wallpaper👌
Shoutout to FedEx who help delivery so many raw jeans to our fans everywhere!
Can't wait for my blanket lined and big slub to arrive tomorrow and my sea island cotton comes today 😳
Now that's a great fall collection right there!!
Terry and Vinny look like CdawgVA and Timothy Delaghetto at home while Justin looks like Live action Shaggy from scooby doo
That's too good!!
Have had the same yellow flannel, that Terry has on, for a couple years now. There’s a new similar looking one that looks great too.
Where is it from? Looks super solid
@snuffspoon it was a Naked & Famous work shirt flannel. I believe they've updated the fit name to Overshirt now.

Just ordered the blue flannel. Love that shirt and for the amazing sale price its a no brainer.
Great choice, enjoy it!!
Well done 💯

Warp and weft buddies, It's the two directions used to weave and create a denim for example
I have the hadouken shirt. Such a good look!
I remember when these first came out, Brandon (our founder) was wearing one in NYC and kept getting stopped and complimented all day long.
The episodes are great, I love seeing whats going on every week, will there be more true guy & groovy guy options soon?
I do an initial soak usually, so you guys wouldn't advise for this jeans since it's a bleeder? How about washing tips?

That yellow flannel is 🔥🔥🔥 but the price is steep as hell lol
Some of our flannels can get up there in price, but when you touch and see the fabrics you'll understand why.

We have a straight leg fit with UB (UB301 for example), that would be the closest.
@@NakedandFamousDenim Thanks!
Awesome video guys!
So im a 38x30 do i have to get all my n&f denim hemmed?
I believe all Naked and Famous denim is 34” inseam standard, but they hem your denim for free!
@@snuffspoon what how??? I live in California :(
@@Chicken_CS if you order online, in the notes section just tell them what size you want your denim to be hemmed at!
That's right, you can see our hemming policy here - tateandyoko.com/pages/hemming-alterations

When you guys size up, are you not worried about cinching when you wear a belt?
A little cinching isn't a big deal, it's much more comfortable than wearing jeans that are too snug. Personally (Bahzad here) I want a little room in the waist when I first start wearing a new pair.
