I remember the first time I saw Corbet's from the gondola - these videos on UA-cam don't do it any justice. The drop and steep is stomach churning. That was a great line!
I remember my first time, I was with my dad and said "I'm not sure I can do this" he said I could so without hesitation I dropped in. It feels good seeing so many people at the top second guess themselves and then just going for it yourself. Makes you feel like the main character for sure lmao.
"Makes you feel like the main character" haha. I like that. Closest thing I've skied to something like this is lovers leap in vail or maybe some of the OB gates at Beaver creek near stone creek chutes
Not bad for the first time. I am sure the adrenaline was so much that you fell to stop yourself from going to quick. That drop in doesn't look like alot but it is.
Very nice. We had no snow so more of an ice wall all the way down when I went, and it was unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it) closed for Kings and Queens prep.
excuse my ignorance but other than the first drop, it looks to be fairly straight the rest of the way. Could you not just bomb it after that first drop? *edit, I know that you don't usually just bomb down something but I seen him abruptly stop around :40 so I just curious
It's just one of those runs. People need to go look down S&S just right of Corbets. That one is scary. But for some reason Corbets is the glory line. Chicken alley trees at Loveland is nuts.

Great job. I’m glad you didn’t “worry it” to death or sidestep the entire head wall. It was very firm and I think you skied it well.
Coming from the east what you call very firm is packed powder to us.

I remember nothing because I never went LOL

@@EagleLogic lovers leap is a great one probably more fun in my opinion, the run off felt faster than Corbet's
Vcoddd
Seemed like it would have been almost impossible to hold the edge. Graceful slide out, and super kudos for just sending it!
Nice work! I love that you just went for it. 🤘🏼
This is what i want to do in my life. This is my goal. Great vid! Good job!

That was more graceful than most I’ve seen!
Ive been watching Corbet videos and this condition seems gnarlier than most videos
master the fear. the best part of the drop is the beginning where you were shocked by the fear.
that was amazing dude!
Wow, that was exciting!
Congratulations!
Jackson is such a fun place to ski.
dropping in that way the skiers right wall comes up really quick. it's a lot tighter than it looks.
Good job Scott!
Great job!
glorious send. also good job not hitting the rocks
Nice entry. You didn’t stop to chill at the cave on the left 😂
Excellent video
Congrats!
Awesome!
Beasted it. Awesome!
Keep it up I can’t wait to snowboard here one day
That sounded and looked icy 🥶
"Holy shit" is right my friend.
Looks like exactly what I would do. My name is Scott too but we are both Jerrys I guess. LOL
U kept spinning out🤣🤣
If the snow was more fresh you would have rode out no problem, the sound of ice under your skis when you drop makes everything harder
Happy anniversary
That would be terrifying. I launched off some kinda cliff at Kirkwood, WAS terrifying
"holy shit."
Most people going into the Corbett drop do fall. The great thing is most don’t really injure themselves.
i wanna do it, so it doesnt hurt right?
Good job My first time Success. Second slid for life WITH the Tram overhead....lmao what a gaper I am.
Really good effort... But the fact you didn't tap your poles together before sending it disappointed me
Looks easy.
100% solid "Fuck THAT!!!" terrain :) :)
Cool poles. Are they real wood? Great vid btw
bamboo! “grass sticks” is the company, based out of Steamboat Springs, CO
@@scotty.wanders nice. Thanks for answering

“Holy shit” is correct! That was tight
Being from the Alps, I don’t get what’s so special about Corbet's.

Being from the Rockies I don't understand what's so special about the Alps
