I think he is intentionally skidding more in order to prove shaky video is dead. Obviously when you skid the skis in this bumpy terrain you tend to shake a lot. Just my two cents.
Joep VN Exactly! This video is a master class in how not to shoot and edit mountain sports, it's the worst editing I've ever seen of skiing or snowboarding. The editor must not ski or ride. The cuts to other camera perspective and the speeding up and slowing down of the video really take you out of the action. This is so bad it's unwatchable. Watching a pro should be exciting, for which one must be able to understand the reality of the run, for which the consistent use of one camera perspective, whether it be first or second person, is required. I see incompetent editing more and more, and can only assume the editing process is being taken over by people who aren't involved in the sports and can't understand them.

Lol My cousins live in Jackson, about 30min from Teton Village, I’ve seen one of my cousins in particular in a lot of photos going off Corbits. Corbits and that Crabtree jump/cliff (its a little lower down the mountain...been 20yrs since I’ve been on it) are for the VERY VERY good...and slightly crazy. I used to just sit at the bottom of Crabtree when the locals would all get there and hit it like it was nothing one after another. Most people people see a little cliff to jump off...the locals build up a little jump off the cliff to get more air and pull off the biggest aerials I’ve personally ever seen in person.
Depends on the target audience. This is clearly an equipment ad and not targeting a skier insider audience. I enjoyed it as a voyeur looking for some entertainment. So, I wouldn’t call it terrible.
It looks pre-public. The shadows all look like real early in the morning. The groomers are untouched, the chairs are empty and there is almost nobody out there.
Gosh I wish Corbet's would have been so full of snow and easy to drop into when I was last there - a sheer hard sideways 30' drop with vertical ice rink landing

Best line in Corbetts is along rock face on left. This is especially true when Corbetts is a leap and you can't just "slide in" like here. Lived there for years. Personally....Crabtree Rock is way more intimidating than Corbetts. Try the S&S Couloir too !!
Well, I did like some of the air shots. Music and the dog shot was right on. But, since so much was just cruiser terrain... Some Stein Style would have been nice.
Actually if he’d of shown the whole run top to bottom we’d be watching an hour long video...or longer! I’ve done that run from the very top where he started down to the main lodge...it’s a long run down. That’s Teton Village. First drop, Corbits Cooler (or however you spell it😉 lol).

It is not the place for a beginner. Or an intermediate. Should be a very strong advanced skier or higher to enjoy the place. Then it is one of the best places anywhere. It's like 90% dudes so it's all about the skiing.
Freaking hate that crap. On a good day you get there an hour early and stand in the cold only to watch the special people get first tram and all the first tracks. Ski patrol is one thing, all the others are another thing entirely. Still think it's the best mountain I've ever skied.
He isn't the only one. There is whole very corrupt system at the resort that allows the the select few to go up before everyone else if you pay enough or have the right friends.

Yeah, GoPros (or any camera) never really gives you the vertical feel... it just looks flat but you can't tell it's straight down, haha.
It’s not that steep. 45 is pretty doable by most solid riders
