NEW DS Back in Time to 1795 - Vicki Is In Jail
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 лип 2024
- Barnabas goes to visit Vicki in jail. When she describes the fire and the way that if felt like ice, Barnabas remembers the chant that he heard coming out of Angelique's room. He puts together the pieces and makes Ben tell him that Angelique is the witch. Ben draws the letter V which would mean that Vicki is the witch, but he quickly adds the line to make it the letter A.

I most dearly love watching DS a big fan for life!❤😍❤
Barnabas is starting to puzzle together Vickis statement over words that he has heard before. 🔥Fire that burns and heart of ice ❄️. He knows now that he can't trust Angelique.
I haven't seen all of these episodes. They're great. Watching Barnabas realizing that he is married to a witch ... great drama.
You are a long time viewer and are still finding episodes that you haven't seen. Wonderful.
Barnabas didn't know it at the time, but his affair with Angelique in Martinique was the beginning of his downfall.
You got that right! An old time fatal attraction!
Ben is my favorite 1795 character.Thayer David was so underappreciated when the show originally aired. I hope it is better now..
Thayer David was such a great actor. D. S. Cast was totally amazing.
I believe it is better now, at least amongst the die hard fans. I didn't appreciate him as a child, but as an adult I love him in all his roles. I'm so glad he got to play so many different parts.
@@jonhinson5701 True. At that point Thayer had not played all the other roles yet so he wasn't recognized back in the 60s until years later when D.S. attracted tons of fans.
Angelique will always need a scapegoat to keep her being a witch a secret no matter who has to pay with their life just to get what she wants.
Good old Ben! He can be trusted, Barnabas. Of course Angelique is the witch! Watch out for her tricks, Barnabas!!
I enjoyed seeing this video! Thanks so much for sharing it! ~Janet in Canada
Barnabas didn't even try to hide his hostility towards Angelique, big mistake. No wonder she became suspicious right away.
I did like how he managed to get Ben to reveal the name of the witch without Ben having to say a word...of course, poor Ben would have been struck mute if he had attempted to say Angelique's name.
Vicki pretty much paved the way for Barnabas to open his eyes to see Angelique for what she really is. Instead of confronting Angelique Barnabas could've told Trask. Problem is he don't like the reverend and Trask only believes what he wants to believe.
@@bruce8808 Trask wouldn't have believed Barnabas, since it was Vicki, not Angelique, who came running out of the house during his exorcism.
Trask would just think that Barnabas was under Vicki's spell.
@@BethHarmon-uv7tl👍Yup.
Brilliant casting with both Angelique and Barnabas. Those 2 characters made the show
Except for all the flubs barnavas keeps putting out every episode hes in. 😂😅
@@richardmadison6312 Yeah, those are obvious but it was live TV in the 60s as opposed to taped “before a studio audience”. Unlike live theatre, where the performance is the same every day, this was a daily show where dialogue changes were happening even as the episode was being taped.
@@richardmadison6312 Lara Parker (Angelique) has addressed this in numerous interviews over the years, pointing out the fact that Barnabas was the central character at this time. He was in nearly every scene
With all the horrible people doing horrible things on this show, who ends up in Jail? Vicki. 😂
Most of you Dark Shadows fans may've looked up Reverend Trasks name being curious. I did and although I don't remember his first name being mentioned it says on Google Orville Vilorus Trask.
This episode was ridiculously good poor ben he was just messed up Jeremiah should have got after her ass more than this another example of you can dish it but you can't take it😂
Wow Sherry and not Brandy😮
More expensive and sweet
@@h.l.asolomonov7674True. By the time it got around to Roger in the 20th century he drank Brandy purely for effect. I can't picture him drinking sherry out of a tiny glass.
I would have requested schnapps myself.😂😅
@@richardmadison6312 👍👍🤣🤣

Why did A want to destroy V?
V was just a scapegoat.
To expand on the above comment, her real goal was Josette because she was jealous that Josette was finacé of Barnabus. She took care of that with the love spell though. Vicky was just a convenience to divert everyone’s attention away from herself when the witch hunt talk started. Vicky’s bizarre circumstances (having come from the future with her strange clothes, appearing out of nowhere, and mis-speaks about the future) made her the easy scapegoat
@@pj-fx7gx 💯agreed...great explanation
@@melissajenniferjones9959 Thanks Melissa
I love the fact that your video releases tell the story in sequential order but I encourage you to put some kind of sequence number at the beginning of the description instead of "NEW" - they all say that. The only date that UA-cam shows when suggesting a bideo is "1 Month Ago" so in a month these will all show the same thing. Can this series have a unique playlist before you move on to another time period?
