- Now that he knows the truth about Angelique being the witch, he takes action by putting a powerful poison in her drink. Naomi comes to visit and almost drinks the poison but Barnabas quickly takes the glass away saying that that the glass has a crack in it. He savese his mother's life.

In spite of her wickedness, I’ve been enchanted by the character of Angelique since the first time I saw her back in the 60s. Lisette Anthony (who played the character in the 90s reboot) did a great job but Lara’s portrayal is legendary and made the character iconic (IMHO) ❤❤

I was always afraid of Angelique
She was very cruel, mean and wicked in her early episodes. There was no limit to who she would kill just to get what she wants.

And to think he nearly killed his mother (though that hadn't been his intention, the poison was intended for Angelique).
Angelique has laid down the ground rules...Barnabas must stay with her and keep quiet about her secret, if Josette is to live.
Barnabas is in a one way marriage. Angelique calls the shots and cracks her whip and pulls the ring in Barnabas's nose. One either obeys her, dies or worse, gets turned into a loathsome creature.
If that was me beth i would worship the ground angelique walks on.❤

Angelique the witchatator (Dictator) is sure one bossy controlling and cranky wife constantly needling Barnabas and riding especially over Josettes portrait. Geez. It's only a portrait.

I love the fact that your video releases tell the story in sequential order but I encourage you to put some kind of sequence number at the beginning of the description instead of "NEW" - they all say that. The only date that UA-cam shows when suggesting a bideo is "1 Month Ago" so in a month these will all show the same thing. Can this series have a unique playlist before you move on to another time period?

The next episode has angeliques eyes in the nite to follow barnabas wherever he goes.
And Barnabas isn't even aware that she is monitoring his activities. She plays her games and asks where he has been and he lies making her angrier.
