Stuck on the 4th encounter in the new Salvation's Edge raid? The shapes can be confusing, so here's my simple, quick explanation for how to sort shapes easily while doing the encounter.

It's a lot to learn, but once you get the hang of it, its a very chill encounter! Raid is definitely worth trying, it's really really good
The whole encounter is literally making a 3D shape that YOUR statue isnt holding

It might be not the most chill experience with randoms, sometimes people just don't mesh well, sometimes people are just annoying and/or bad. But that's fine. You can work with it. If you're asking for perfection, you'll never get that exactly, and that's probably what you need to understand yourself
And before you start giving me the whole KWTD crap - people want a relatively fast clear. It is perfectly normal to look for teammates in the know. There are also plenty people who are fine with teaching and will be glad to help you out, at the very least if you don't pretend to be what you aren't
Honestly people shitting on LFG are often the ones who make it an unenjoyable experience...
If you're scared - that's fine! But just try it out, there are people who will help you if you ask politely!
If you've had some bad experiences - that happens! But trust me when I say it is far from the majority of cases, most times it'll be all right
Otherwise - you're probably having way to high of a bar yourself
took my team 3 hours we experienced all stages of grief
Everyone who watches this THE whole point of the encounter IS just making a 3d SHAPE that doesnt have the 2d shape YOUR statue is holding there are only 6 3d shapes possible (CUBE, SPHERE, PYRAMID, CONE, PRISM and CYLINDER) the three 3d shapes you should have outside is always cylinder cone and prism

Yeah don’t listen to this guy. Step one is you do not match shapes. Kill both nights as quickly as possible take the shape and dunk it into a guardian that is not holding the shape you have. To force ghost mechanic. Then when you come back proceed with comms. No coms needed in first teleport.
This is how my team did it and it was much easier to understand. We had plenty of time and took the wipe in stride
You can skip the first step, but its way easier to coordinate if you do the step first. Not required, but helpful
The LFG experience almost always requires matching symbols first. People are dumb

Thank you this is the strat I made for us in day 1 and we cleared first time using it, everybody wants to teach this longer method for no reason
