I started feeling body pain, fatigue & constipated. I caught up by having 2 T Citrate of Magnesium in OACV water for a few days and felt better. Going to plan better. Thank you! I have vit D deficiency,
      consider to take D3 5000 iu daily, and if you have bone problems or weak bones take it with k2(mk4) not (mk7)
      I WANT TO UPDATE, MK7 IS BETTER TO TAKE WITH D3, MK7 (150-300 mcg) because the chain is longer than mk4, so it takes more time to be consumed, while mk4 is faster to be consumed, so if anyone decided to take mk4 he needs to take 5 mg dailly, which is alot, so D3 + k2 mk7 is efficient.

    Wow! Low magnesium is probably the cause of my monthly headaches!

    • @BrownGuyGaming91
      @BrownGuyGaming91 11 місяців тому +1

      I lost most of my electrolytes a few months ago from excessive sweating while going for runs while working out. I had all the symptoms of heart palpitations, dizziness, weakness, migraine etc. Because I wasn't drinking Gatorade and wasn't putting any electrolytes in my body while I was running a lot of sweating.
      Long story short, after I figured out the electrolyte problem, I started to feel better the same day little by little by drinking Gatorade and other electrolyte healthy drinks. But I noticed my headache and weakness/fatigue kept coming back, so much so that I had a headache and fatigue for 1 month straight!followed by muscle twitching. I realized magnesium is a type of electrolyte which can also be lost through excessive sweating. No doctor told me any of this and UA-cam literally saved my life and by doing research. So I've been on the road to recovery now for a little over 2 months. I would highly suggest transdermal magnesium. Essentially magnesium bath flakes, similar to Epsom salts. It's way faster so it goes right through your skin. I've been taking all sorts of magnesium since.

  • @Roman-nu1om
    @Roman-nu1om 4 роки тому +10

    to clarify, 5.000-10.000 IU is the recommended daily dose to maintain a good Vit D status whereas 20.000 IU is the maximum daily dose a Vit D deficient person should take to build up blood serum levels but not longer than a month. Going beyond 20.000 a day is contraproductive as it makes the body destroy the active Vit D form (OH 1.25) in larger quantities. Lots of information on the internet available.

    • @Solami987
      @Solami987 4 роки тому +3

      @@dana102083 to be honest it was difficult to isolate my problem, but it seemed to interfere with my sleep patterns taking 6000iu (increased steadily from 1000iu when I started). My sleep was already a bit messed up, possibly stress, possibly vitamin d interfering with melatonin production. When I searched for the issue online I came across many instances of people on a forum run by a doctor, talking about sleep being interrupted by too much vitamin D BUT every time somebody mentioned it the response from the Dr. was related to vitamin d causing lower levels of magnesium. So I increased Magnesium supplementation to 375mg per day vs 250, and my sleep is more consistent than it's been in a while with additional help from a noise machine, diet is already super healthy and I chase magnesium rich foods. I still take 2000iu of vitamin d and some from cod liver oil, but even when my D levels were below normal I had great immunity already. So ultimately if im being totally transparent, it's hard to say if all my issues were vitamin d related, but I'm of the mindset that I'm not benefitting from higher levels of vitamin d supplements so I'll keep it low, it's a powerful supplement.

    Dr Berg: Question:
    So if you HAVE been taking high dose vit D (and K2) plus have a terribly un-nutricious diet (in my case due to not being able to cope due to severe, chronic illnesses/pain for the past 29 yrs, plus 3 yrs of having severe depression and zero appetite from blood pressure tablets), how much elemental Magnesium should you take per day? I've dabbled with Magnesium for pain, in the past (to no avail) , but I am soooo ill, it's nigh impossible for me to take supplements regularly.
    I've JUST started Magnesium citrate 480mg elemental Magnesium per day, but should I take more?
