I’m 71, and luckily my neighbours like AC/DC, because when I listen to them, the neighbours listen also.
🤣❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Same
Same too :-)
My neighbors listen to a lot of Iron Maiden.
65 here. We were there. I remember going to the smoke out at the capitol mall in 79. Concerts every weekend.
It’s called music kid. When musicians got to be famous because they were outstanding musicians and loaded up with raw talent. I grew up in Melbourne, in Australia, in the ‘70’s, when Bon Scott was the lead singer..and Angus and Bon together was simply magic. Long Way To The Top video, filmed in my home city on the back of a truck, with the only man who could make bagpipes cool, is still one of the best things ever. Brian did a masterful and respectful job stepping into Bon’s shoes. Nobody could ever replace the Legend, and Brian never tried to..but he has a powerful set of pipes, could do those songs justice, and Bon would have wanted Angus, and Malcolm, not to stop because of him. Cheers 🇦🇺🐨🦘
Respect dude
That video is a banger for sure. When the bagpipes start I get a shiver of delight!
He sounds the same because he can actually sing! No digital, no autotune when this was released.

Ya got that right
AC/DC have been rocking the world since the 70s this concert at the River Platte Stadium in 2009 was a return to Argentina after a 14 year absence. They had 200,000 people attend over 3 nights young people today have no idea how big these guys actually were.
All before the advent of autoTune :P
Perdón por escribir en español, no me manejo bien con el inglés. Querés sorprenderte más todavía? Escucha a Queen. Probablemente conozcas la película La rapsodia bohemia. Pero no a la banda y sus canciones. Creo que te vas a sorprender más. Un abrazo desde Argentina
Three of their songs have reach over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone with other songs reaching over 100 million.
It's safe to say the younger generation definitely know
That show was the best! I was there in the second night with my wife and six friend from high-school. I been a fan since the late eighties. Greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina!
AC/DC said this is where the band come to see the crowd been a fan of them since I was a kid in the 70s
As an Aussie it's my honour to tell you who Angus Young is.
He's a massive legend on guitar and yes, he is indeed in a similar outfit...his school uniform. When AC/DC started out jamming then Angus was still in school and would turn up to practice in uniform. As such, he's worn it ever since when playing and we bloody love him for it.
Us Brits bloody love him as well mate !
But in fairness Malcolm wrote most of Angus’s parts and the whole vibe of the songs, Angus was just better at pulling it off with consistency
Best band ever……period! They make you sit up and take notice!
Scottish born aussie lived.
Just for the record mate, Angus dropped out of school at age 15 and AC/DC was formed when Angus was 17 so didn't go to practice straight after school
This is what happens when the band respects its audience by playing the song as it was recorded, and no extra gimmics. Legends
But the Long Versions of Jailbreak, High Voltage (Razors Edge Tour) and Let There Be Rock (all Tours) are not bad.
Angus Young is a beast, a truly legend. He’s in the top ten list of the best guitar players of all time. He could play the guitar falling down the stairs, backwards, and not miss a single note!
Fun fact, in his private live he’s a very calm dude, drinking Earl Grey Tea and loving chocolate. It’s like he’s saving all the energy to let it out on stage. I saw them live several times over the years, and they deliver every time ❤
Angus is pretty special! Although there is the urban legend where during an interview with Angus years ago he was asked 'how does it feel being one of the best guitarists in the world'? Angus apparently replied 'I don't know, I'm not even the best guitarist in the band'.
He's even supposedly said 'Malcom could play all of my parts, but I can't play all of his'. Malcolm (RIP) would have been one of the best rhythm guitarists of all time.
Falling down the stairs backwards - love that mate.
Sadly I never got to…no funds each time they were coming near me.
😂😂😂brilliant
Best concert ever, respect to band and the Argentine crowd
I couldn't agree more....the best concert DVD/Blu-Ray disc in my collection. The crowd is insane.
this is really good but their concert at Donnington was better
@@Iceman452293Donington: Better performance IMO.
River Plate: Best crowd IMO
Yes, the Argentina crowed was one of the best that I've seen this century, maybe the best. They knew every single song and they were shaking the place from start to finish. 150% electric atmosphere they created.
You haven't lived until youve seen AC/DC live...this in river plate was probably the greatest gig of all time
alarm set for 10:00 tomorrow...
Agreed Best Concert I Ever went to. High Energy, No Stopping!!!!
Donnington comes a close second. Though Paris with Bon has a shout.
The greatest gig will always be the one you were at.
My first concert ever - I was so confused and dizzy. Angus popping up right in front of me in the middle of the crowd and acting like a lunatic - I didn’t know what the hell was going on- Rosie doll - huge bell - how the hell Could I carry on
Hip hop fan discovers actual music!
YES it is absolutely live. This is what it is like to go to a rock concert. Bands in the 20th century played their own instruments. Usually learning when they were young children. A friend of mine started playing guitar at 5 years old. Music in the 20th Century was pure talent with playing instruments and singing. NO computers. NO auto tune. That is why they sound the same if not better live.
you don't know what a rock concert is if you haven't lived one in Argentina
No phones! Just living the moment. ❤
AC/DC waas formed 1973. By the time of this concert, the guys were heading to their 60s. Still they rock tour socks off! Nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) attended the Riverplate concerts 2009 and I bet the audience left their mark on the Richterschale those nights. What an epic performance!
AC/DC deserves every accolade and dollar as they earned them. 41 years of being one of the hardest working bands in the world. When you kids see these huge, enormous stadiums with AC/DC making millions you don't understand that they played at the smallest bars, crappiest venues in UK, years and years on the road living in hotel rooms and buses for years not making much money. They outplayed and outsurvived 99%, truly, of ever other band that started in 1973, most bands are lucky to last 5 years. AC/DC, the brothers, WOW not big guys in physique but guys with huge big brass musical cojones! Long Live Malcom Long Live Angus. I hope their music is still listened to in a thousand years
They played a heap of pub gigs in Sydney n Melbourne too. 🤘🤘 Their first gig was in a club 73, in Sydney.
Try 51 years (1973-2024).
When 'thunderstruck' hits and you see that view from the back of the crowd, as the crowd is jumping in sync, it's actually rocking the whole stadium and shaking the camera.
Its bloody awsome to see that I was so shocked when I first saw the video I wanted to be there join in its INSANE!!! LOVE AC/DC love Australia
@@ronni6346Me too, the atmosphere is off the chart. You can feel it through the screen!
can't find the original article, but many of earthquake sensors picked up the show as serious event
Richter scale registration baby!
Remember, in the video, they're rocking this song TWENTY YEARS after it came out.
If you're gonna do thunderstruck, then you gotta do "Whole Lotta Rosie " from the same concert..
Definitely! Highway to Hell and TNT were also awesome from this show.
@melissakozusko9244 the whole concert is epic.
It might kill him from happiness though.
and Highway to Hell as well
That video will be uploaded in Friday! Stay tuned!
And now you know what your life was missing without ACDC!!
I was born in '72. I'm privileged to have seen AC-DC more than several times in concert. First time I was 18 yrs old.😊
This is what REAL MUSIC sounds like live!!!! Too bad today's audiences(Young People) WILL NEVER EXPERENCE ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE to THIS!!!
Come to Argentina and you will see the same in every concert every time
No phones, just pure immersion!
Grew up and grew old with ACDC. Best band ever! I still listen to them!
Me too. Mind you. I grew up with led zeppelin. So older than you. But this band is so sexy
I went to this concert 😊
What’s really cool about AC/DC live is that they still play all the classic songs, and have all the old stage props…the jailhouse backdrop from ‘74 Jailbreak, the bells from Hells Bells, the cannon from For Those About to Rock
Real playing, real singing real instruments. No trash talk to some monotone "music" beat can get you a long way.
I don't think you could comprehend the anger that Gen x has pent up.
Being a boomer , just means that We grew up in the best music era ever . Rock on .
I was fortunate to go to one of these concerts when they were touring in 2009, man they were rocking the stage like they still in their heyday, Angus was the crowd fave. There pyrotechnics was elite, the crowd and the energy was fire, this is another legendary band, all thier songs are lit. ✌
The reason why tian Johnson sounds the same in the studio and live on stage is he has a true vocal talent. He doest need any type of computer voice enhancement. This is the biggest difference in bands before the late 90s. Most of today’s vocalists would have starved if they tired to sing without auto tune.
Having followed this band since 1976, Brians voice , since 1980 has changed slightly. If you ever want to see the man who taught Malcolm and Angus to play, take a look at the 60's group The Easybeats song Friday on my Mind. Their lead guitar was also a Young. He taught the " little ones " how to play , R.I.P. Malcolm. R.I.P. Bon Scott. ( Died in 1980 ) we miss both of you,
I first heard Angus play this riff on my black Ibanez guitar on January 3rd 1989. He said that they were gonna turn it into a song after his holiday, where I met him (Hayman Island). A blessing which I will never forget. Nicest guy in the world. He and Ellen were so generous with their time.
When I feel down or a little unwell, AC/DC are one of 2 bands that always make me feel better listening to their music.
Seeing this I found myself feeling a profound sadness and pity for younger generations. Concerts are so different now. Being at a concert with a band full of amazing musicians, fully present (no phone) and just rocking out while they perform. It's just not the same now. They don't know what they're missing, which also makes it sadder😂.
Im in my 60s, total headbanger since i was 9, i love seeing young folk discover metal, keeps the movement going
AC/DC concerts was crazy. I still have hearing damage from 80's. The song For Those About to Rock had actual cannons. Amplified cannons are very loud. It was awesome.
Angus Young is playing guitar in the school uniform, and although many dont realise, his brother Malcom is on rythum guitar and plays the background rift through the entire song without missing a beat
Angus is the lightning, Malcolm is the thunder.
Angus has repeatedly said (and tons of pro guitar players agree....) that Malcolm was the better guitar player of the two and the musical backbone of the band.
@@jemoganbest rhythm guitarist ever
@@jemogan But Angus is the showman and that went a long way to the success of AC/DC. A lot of people went to the concerts to see Angus perform and to listen to Malcolm perform. Thats the hook.
Unfortunately, Malcom passed away a few years back.
The singer is now 76 years old and is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. If you see him at a pub, sit with him, have a beer, and just be yourself!
When a grandpa rocks better than younger generations.
"Whole Lot of Rosie" at River Plate. A classic. Angus on guitar is the brother to the other guitarist, Malcolm Young. And Angus does not use any effects, just amps & his Gibson SG guitar. That's real talent right there.
There is no greater band to party with than these guys. They are awesome ! xx
nothing shows more clearly which artists are real and which are just another product of the music business than a live performance. ❤
Once you got "IT" you always got "IT" no matter how old you get!!! The meaning of "IT" is: Genius, Talent, Swag, Energy (playing off your group, off of the audience) Desire to continue to entertain, have FUN!!! 🎸🎤
It was a complete pleasure seeing them live with my mom. Angus absolutely rocked it
THAT IS THE ARGENTINIAN CROWD, LOOK DE VIDEO "ARGENTINA BEST CROWD EVER", ALL THE ROCKS BAND SAY IT, SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA
Its a goosebump on steroids holy crap moment. I took my kids in 2009, Detroit mich. It was a mama and son's bonding experience. We will never forget 🌎☮️😁
Angus is definately aging, but he is also probably the most healthy of them all. His endless infectious energy at every concert and ability to go absolutely nuts non stop.
He is aparently a Tea drinker and supposedly hasn't abused his body, except for the grueling tour shows he helps pump out and his legendary mastery of entertaining the crowds.
Seen them live awesome to be there, AC/DC Rock's 🎸🎸🎸🎤🥁🔥🔥🔥🤘😆🤘
Love the audiences pulsating heartbeat thru this song is incredible. Not many bands get this kind of response at the same time. So the Main riff on the guitar is something Angus did as practice and I guess it sounded so good and catchy it just became this Beast of a song. and the way they all sound so perfect is practice practice practice. And muscle memory kicks in and Bam always hitting it out the park.
Don't forget there is also nearly 20 years between performances, dudes are in there 60s this time around.
I just find it outstanding that young people are on the trail of all this brilliant music from the past through the UA-cam medium and specifically reaction videos. it is amazing to see people reacting to songs that have basically been in my life for as long as I can remember, but to see them Here experienci gngthe videos in real-time and to know that the sheer quality of that music sells itself as soon as someone is exposed to it properly. They pretty much have a new fanbase in the next generation period especially bands like rush and sabbath. , maiden...etc. bands that are undeniably great.
I am so happy you love it soooo happy good taste young man!!!!!! Great reaction!!! It's Angus Young never had the pleasure or the honor of watching him play in concert
Went to many of their early concerts in the mid 1970's....still have all their autographs!
Seen AC⚡DC many times since the early 70's with Bon Scott and on.
Saw them on the UK leg of this tour at the O2.
One of the best live bands, up there with Pink Floyd.
Battered, bruised, decimated after losses, they're back.
Come, come, May 21!
Lead guitarist is Angus Young. Him and his brother, Malcom, rhythm guitar , started the band in 73
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing them on their Black Ice tour in Sydney. Absolutely brilliant. These guys gave 110% for almost two hours straight. No breaks. They just kept going!
Glad to say that I was there for day 2… it was one of the best live concert experiences I ever had. They were phenomenal!
Molly boy, I’ve learned over the years that there are great songs in every genre’ of music you just have to have the patience to listen
Exactly. Eclectic tastes.
I’m 76 yo female seen them twice in the 90’s. Best exercise ever!!
Sit back and get ready to listen to legends live. Get ready to trip out of your bloody minds. Hold on it's going to get bumpy.
Hi I am 82 years young and was lucky enough to witness the birth of Rock n Roll and I also played in several local bands in the UK back in the 1960s...When Angus (Lead Guitarist) AC/DC and his brother decided to start a band neither of them knew how to play guitar, they taught themselves. Back in the early 1970s the lead singer was Bon Scott, sadly he passed away. R.I.P. Bon...There is a live video of them playing their first hit "It's A Long Way To The Top" with Bon Scott and they are playing on the back of a flatbed truck through the streets of Melbourne with bagpipes too...I highly recommend you check it out on youtube and react to it...Keep on Rocki'n!
It is or was live, I've seen them live concerts were like that great crazy times. Takes me back to my teenage years
Back when nothing messed with voices
All bands didn’t have a passenger in their line ups. I was 8 in 1971 and loved it. Welcome to my world
The lead guitar is Angus Young and the outfit he wears is a school uniform from when he was a boy ( of course it is not the original uniform he would not fit it anymore ) the singer is Bryan Johnson . I have seen these guys in concert 3 times when I was young and they were the loudest and the show was always awesome ! The Pyrotechnics and Cannons and giant Bells they use in concert will blow your mind , watch a whole show once if you can find it .
Esto es Argentina, el mejor público del mundo. Busca y mira Best Crowd Ever - El mejor público del mundo
200k I that crowd. Lead guitar is Angus Young. He's 78 now.
He's not 78
I'm sure you meant 68
And there going on tour this year
I wonder how they're gonna sound without Melcom ,May he RIP
My all-time favorite concert is Queen Live Aid 1985 the full concert
Best rock band ever. Seen them 4 times and no other band comes close to their live performances 🤘🤘
If you enjoyed that you need to watch Cold Chisel Bow River live in the round. Guitar heaven
As convicts we know how to party 😂 Glad you got to enjoy this & thanks for sharing your experience Brother, peace
That's Angus's look... the school boy and the 'duck walk.
Angus is my favorite .... guy can rock it
i did see the Rock or Bust tour in Sydney and OMG i couldn't believe the number of solos Angus did , practically every song, and for so long every time, his stamina for his age is amazing, and i can confirm he does do one-handed picking playing
"looks like a wave.............." best description of that crowd !!
‘Whole lot of Rosie” from that same concert is absolutely mind. Lowing
i think its so cool how these icon bands keep drawing in ppl
I saw AC/DC for their "Razor's Edge" tour. The sound in the auditorium, the psychic energy pouring out of the audience and flowing at the band, it was amazing. You could FEEL the music in a way I don't usually see at shows. Yes, Angus looks like that for YEARS.
When Clay Bennett moved the Oklahoma City Thunder to OKC, when he announced the name of their new team, he used this song. You saw how it affected a stadium crowd, think what it did to an entire city.
You should consider watching the entire concert--the energy is amazing. They are hard core rock.
Back in the 80s I think I only want to like maybe 5 concerts David Lee Roth Eat 'em & smile ,I went to the poison concerts all three times they were in Orlando, and I went to the Back in Black concert and that was the best concert I've ever been to in my life I will never forget it I don't really remember the other ones I went to but that one is etched in my memory. Angus Young never stood still the entire concert he moved all over that stage and after the concert you could see him off stage they were giving him oxygen that's badass. Just great music ,great lyrics, great everything. I'm glad you're checking them out I hope you like it. They are still going strong too
So proud of our Aussie band that took on the world ❤ Back in Black was about surviving the death of their original singer Bon Scott worth looking up clips with him upfront we will love him forever in Oz 😢

Angus and Malcom were born in Scotland family emeigrated to Flipped upside down land and this monstricity was made love it.
My friends and I have been to every Melbourne AC/DC concert since the early 90s and every concert felt better than the last. Yes the atmosphere at an AC/DC concert is something you have to experience to believe. The guys are pretty old now so we won’t be seeing them around for too much longer but at least I’ve had the privilege of seeing them live. One of the all time greats of music, not just rock.
Dude you just got another subscriber. This is the music of my youth. Saw them live twice in the 80’s. Love watching young people hearing the old rock!
I went to this concert tour. It was... amazing.
When I was there , Angus (the guitar player) disappeared from onstage... then lights came on back of house with him on an elevated platform continuing his solo
The next song you need to do from this concert is Whole Lotta Rosie! Rockin' performance!
Angus is so incredible. One of the best guitarist in history.
Angus Young Lead guitar {brother }Malcome Young Rythem Guitar Brian Johnson Vocals Cliff Williams Bass {Iconic} Phil Rudd Drums This is AC/DC from Bon Scott"s Death. The drummer switched because of Travel restrictions his wife was sick.
Nice to see a reactor actually take a suggestion from the comments. Your the first i have seen. AC/DC just started their new tour. React to Hells Bells live from River Plate!
Ok sooo it’s their sound person!! He had been with the band for a long time… I ran sound for many years. I knew my room I knew my band… I rehearsed with them for every production..( I was in a pretty large church) it makes live sound hard for me… if they sound bad it’s on the engineer/live producer. Another that sounds exactly like their records is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra the sound tech that travels with them is who recorded the albums continuity is everything in live sound. AC/DC is fabulous.
Man your kicking Goals in Life , you found a Way To get ahead , Keep up The Good work , i'm Proud of you Man !!!!
Love ACDC all my mates loved the show it was 12 Feb 1977 in Adelaide South Australia at (Apollo Stadium)
" That man, right there, can play the mother f@ckin guitar..." yup..certainly can! 😂 what a wholesome reaction!! Excellent rock choice for a "beginner". As a rocker it fascinates me watching the mixing on the decks live in hip hop. Music is just awesome in any genre.
Nice reaction video mate!
Probably the nicest comment I’ve had on this video! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🤘🏻
AC/DC are legends here in Australia... First with Bon Scott as lead singer then Brian Johnson... My favourite song is "For those about to rock" but my favourite album is Back In Black... That fucking legend playing the guitar is Angus Young... The whole family were huge into music & awesome musicians in their own right... George Young with his mate Harry Vanda are known for writing some of the greatest songs throughout the 80's & 90's
Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
You never learn
I was in middle school when this came out.. still love to this day at 56 yrs old.. this is great music... and I love pretty much all genres.. don't mess with AC/DC...If this concert was 2009.. we're talking 30 yrs after it came out.. and the crowd LOVED IT !!! I got to see them one time back in the day.. better live
Having watched the power trip concert I am sorry to say that they are struggling now 😢. Always will be legends.
can confirm as an Australian the AC-DC mosh is one the most active for thier whole set of songs and everyone knows all the words and sings along its insane the home town shows in Adelaide south australia are the most epic and have the best crowds ever
Theses guys are your grandparents band, yeah your grandpa they're like over 70 years old easy. 2009 still rocking so now add up 2024 still got it going on 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 pushing 90 old cats❤
When he says..."who the f... is that playing the guitar?" 😆 😂
Mate, watching your reaction was great. It doesn't matter what music you are into, good music is good music. I have followed AC/DC since 1978, yea, I'm old. LOL.
Now you know what rock and roll is all about. The best concert I 've ever been.
In Australia we all live in the church of AC/DC home grown
