The move Angus was doing is called the duck walk and is his way of paying homage to Chuck Berry who originated it.
Chuck Berry originated it, but Angus took it to a whole other level. It is now synonymous with Angus.
@@jeff316 Wrong It's his reverse version. Pay attention child.
@@2l84t LOL...I've been paying attention for 40+ years now, child. As I said, Angus took that walk, a form of which was once done by Berry, to a whole other level, and it is now synonymous with him.
@@jeff316 for pure duck walk, Chuck is pretty hard to beat. I don't think Angus has him there, but Angus adds so many more moves that he is without doubt the craziest ass guitarist of them all. I have no idea how he survives long shows in the heat and humidity.
@@jeff316 60+ junior Go back to school.
What most people don’t recognize at the first of the song, Angus is playing that riff with ONE hand on the neck of his guitar. You see his other hand in the air - no where near the strings. F’ing awesome. Talent out the ass.
Well actually the Main riff that goes thruought the whole song is played by Malcolm
@@mariusemiliansolemsaursaunetMalcolm’s rhythm in the whole song is incredible. The guy is a machine.
On the recording however he picks the strings, not just tapping with his left hand. I do agree with the “talent out the ass”.
Angus is by far one the greatest guitarist in history. In there early days. His was 14 lol his a weapon
@@brissiegeoffThe riff of malcolm it's very every hard to play
best rock and roll band ever. No ideology, no hypocrisy, no politic, just only rock and roll...
I have been a fan since 1975...their arena/stadium concerts are something else.....I am an Aussie.
Thank you Australia, for giving the world AC/DC. They always make me happy when I really need it.
Angus and Malcom are originally from Scotland but moved to Australia at a very young age
@@GadsdenGaming698 Still an Australian band, regardless.
@@moelester2817 no Scottish and Geordie so fuck off
The conditions from Scotland gave berth to what AC/DC would become in Australia
One of the only good things Australia has. Those giant spiders will forever traumatize me.
AC/DC is the epitome of rock n’ roll. Grandfathers of rock as we all think of it today. And ALWAYS high energy 🔥 literally
I still get goosebumps everytime I hear this. Brings back Amazing memories. I remember when this hit the radio the for the 1st time. Wow! When I listen to any of their music, my neighbors listen too!
I love watching you young folks discover our music from my time. I'm 60 now. I rocked to this is college. But watching you young reactors is a pleasure because of the head Bob you can't help, the smiles and eyes bugging out! Lol! Welcome to our world! You been Thunderstruck!
Why do Australians love ACDC so much???
1.They didn't ditch Australia at the first whiff of success unlike begees or easy beats both first two albums were strictly only in Australia..
2.They understood what it felt like to be young and broke in the early 70s for Aussie blokes
3.They laid down the blueprint for a new hard rock sound we ain't ever heard of
4.They became an even bigger band after the death of Bon Scott who was amazing
5 They weathered punk by not wavering an inch they didn't change to a punk sound when in that time all it was is punk and hard rock is yesterday news.
6.Hey man it's a long way to the top and we've never left the top baby. ACDC always been top of Aussie hard rock.
You mentioned the easy beats a member
Of the easy beats is the older young brother and the first manager of the band
It's called the Duck Walk and was invented by Chuck Berry in the 1950's.
That guitar solo is one of the hardest to play, Angus Young is one of the greatest guitarists ever!
Need to tell "the dooo" that because he plays it for fun... of course he is a severely understed yourube guitar player and gamer sooo 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
🤟😁
Total one off - no shit just Angus
BTW they have been “screaming” and rocking for almost 50 years now so they must be doing something right!!! One of the greatest rock and roll bands ever I’m thinking!!!!! Just me hombre!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 😎🍸
One of the few rock bands to change lead singers RIP BON SCOTT and stay successful some would say with out Brian Johnson AC/DC would not have become world wide stars. That we will never know the answer too
@@poke769 Bon Scott was not the original front man of ACDC neither
First went to see AC/DC's free concert at Victoria Park when I was 13-14 and I'm now 64.
@@kennethbell-hn9zv Well I’m 62 and grew up in San Antonio (now I’m in Austin) so we got ACDC with Bon all the time. I was lucky and blessed enough to see 9 of their shows live!!!! I would travel to Houston, Dallas and Austin to see them as well on every tour starting at age 16 so we (my friends) just grabbed some Mexican weed, a few cases of beer and did road trips following them around Texas for my 4 years in high school and 5 years in college!!!!!! Tickets were $10. Understand the drinking age back then was 18 so we always could get booze (fake ID’s) and the weed…… well you know!!!!! Good times we’re had by all!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!!🥳🥳😎🍸
@@westnblu Yes most of us know that some purist’s will say that Dave Evans was the first singer but he lasted about as long as a cup of coffee!!!!!! For a reason!!!!!! Bon is the man!!!!! He helped write sooooo many great songs with Angus and Malcom and his penmanship was outstanding!!!!! His showman ship as you just experienced is off the charts!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!😎🍸
Angus makes me happy! I was 17 and saw them open for Boston in 1979 at a Rock Super Bowl in Fl and Angus came down into the crowd and played right in my face! I had never heard of them before that - blew my little mind
BACK IN THE 80'S WE CALLED ANGUS YOUNG THE LEAD GUITAR PLAYER " THE DEMON "...HE WAS A BADASS AND TORE UP HIS GUITAR
I'm 69 years old, a lover of Rock music, how did I just discover AC/DC? Dray, your expressive amazement of the music is exactly my reaction. Just blown away. Where was my freakin head that I wasn't aware of this when they were playing? I don't know. Thank you for the video.
You’ve only just discovered AC/DC. Shit bro really. They are only one of the biggest and best rock bands on the planet my friend. Where have you been.
When I was 18 in the late 80s Ac/DC was my first concert. Fantastic concert
We had a friend at ticket master who got us front row seats to all the great rock concerts. There is nothing better than the energy of a 70s, 80s or 90s rock concert. We head banged our asses off. We enjoyed the crowd around us and how great these performers were. Never been to a rock concert that they didn’t sound better in person than on the radio.
Always makes me smile when I see a younger generation find this great music.
It is still fun! I can't miss a Metal show in Dallas! My daughter loves Heavy Metal and we have the best fun together! It still gives me the same rush at 59! 🤘🏿🖤🤘🏼🔥
Angus Young is a legendary guitarist 🎸 he had to prepare for this song every time he performed it. He said it was one of the hardest songs for him to perform, but damn boy he still tares it up!!!!
This was a great reaction! You would’ve had a great time at one of their concerts.
1986 ACDC tour was my favorite concert of all time, until 2019; Slipknot. It took over 30 years to top that show! My heart raced all night and my ears rang for days! I would pay large to be in the pit for an ACDC show! I already bought my daughter and I pit tix for Slipknot! Gray hair, don't care! 🤘🏿🖤🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
First MR Dray needs to go back to school and learn how to speak English properly then he might then he might start to understand the words a bit better.
I love it; you were so excited, you almost KO’ed yourself with your headphones!
I never tire of watching a new generation enjoy the video for this rock anthem for the first time.
Back in the day, you would hear this song coming out of virtually every professional sports team's locker room before their games. It was part of every team's pre-game ritual.
Keep up the great work!
AC/DC is the only band I know of that the front man and main attraction was the lead guitarist and not the lead singer.. Angus Young da 🎸 🐐 🎸
Probably the greatest rock band ever
Agreed this my favorite songs for AC/DC
One of.. a few others as good, led Zeppelin, deep purple etc
@@ryanbotha9775no it is
@@Reazwlrd no.
Angus Young is the great guitar player you were talking about. I read an article where he said he was late to band practice one day and his sister told him to just go in his uniform. It became his signature look. The man in the blue T-shirt playing guitar is his brother Malcolm Young. Together they formed AC/DC. Sadly Malcolm passed away in 2017.
I'm 67, still get goosebumps when i hear this, i have all metal on my car sound system and play full volume
Every time I see that intro and Angus is rocking that guitar one-handed, I’m impressed. On the Mount Rushmore of guitarist is Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, and Stevie Ray Vaughan
They was fun to watch in the day but are still fun to watch. I would hope that I have just as much energy as them when I'm their age. Great reaction.love to see young people enjoy the music I grew up on.
The AC/DC drummer is rock solid. Never misses a beat no matter what Angus does.
AND he couldn't play harder without using hammers for sticks.
New sub here your respect and appreciation to these guys shows your humility. You are entertaining. You are right about AC/DC. The coolest thing with them is the lead singer Bryon Johnson doesn't try to take the spotlight from the lead guitarist Angus young. The band was originally built with Angus and Malcolm and with the death of the original lead singer Bon Scott Johnson stepped in and knew his role. What a band what a legacy. Keep up the content brother.
New sub, Its great your giving rock a chance. People miss out some amazing music when they refuse to ck out other genres of music. Happy you're willing to be open to it. Angus the guitar player has had that energy since the 70s. These guys are awesome in concert. Thanx for the great reaction, Peace
That early guitar riff at the begining was based on a fingering exercise that Angus's older brother George taught him.
the funny thing is the lead guitarist angus young is a very quiet laid back guy off the stage but when he puts that school boy suit on and picks up that guitar and goes on stage he becomes a wild man
Oh man!!! This was the best reaction to a song I’ve seen in a long time! It’s pretty cool watching someone into this kind of music who’s never heard it before. 🔥💯
you get it man, the talent of these guys is off the chain, just phenomenal stuff.
I've been watching reaction vids all day and yours is the best reaction to my favorite band ACDC. Thank you so much for this opportunity to see you enjoy your experience.
Thank you Young brothers for starting this band for our pleasure. Love it. Had a huge crush on Malcolm R.i.p. Angus and his guitar is something out of this world. Drums brilliant, rhythm guitar, vocals, and bass all brilliant ❤️💕
They are one of Australia's greatest bands ever. The lead & rhythm guitarists are brothers.
Their older brother is Harry Young from The Easybeats Australia band from the 1960s
Angus running that riff through the whole song is about the hardest thing to do right you will EVER witness on a guitar.
coolest part you may have missed since angus is an e guitar ninja, he plays the lead most of the show with just on hand, pulls the chord and hits his licks with his left
Angus carries on like that for the whole two hour show. Energy unprecedented
AC/DC formed in '73. This song came out in '90 and might just be their greatest ever. Hard to say for sure, tho. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap, back in black, whole lotta rosie, hells bells are all good contenders, too. Then there's the funniest song they ever made..Big Balls
I love your reaction to one of my favorite bands of all time! 😊
Angus & Malcom's sister named them after looking at some machine (sewing?) & saw the words "ac/dc" from the plug. Angus always wore his schoolboy uniform - I think it was her idea, too. Hard rockers! I love how you love it!
This song was a drinking game. Every time he says thunder or thunder struck, you drink! It takes me almost 3 beers. Or it took, past tense!!
3 beers each for about 4-5 people. You can also fake chug but don't get caught
This rift came from Angus's warm up session, this is what he did to warm up his hands.yeah Thunderstruck. One of the all time top 3 guitarist in my humble opinion
My kids tell me I'm old, but I've had this AC/DC line up in my life since I was 10. This was the epitome of High School Music until the Grunge Era hit the scene in the early 90's. I saw them in 1986 and they were so energetic.
I love your video, brother. I can do with about 423 less "niggas" in a ten minute span but your video was entertaining. Thank You!!
love your reaction I had the joy of growing up to this music and still love it
Loved the reaction. Best concert ever went too!!!!!
Hehe I'm 63, grew up on 70's music. So cool to see you young folks as blown away as we were. Much peace and love your way from this old hippie 🙃 ✌
Brother I'm'a hook you up. One word: _Ren_ . React to his _Hi Ren_ and I guarantee two things: this channel will explode, and you will - like the rest of us - fall in love with this guy. We are RENegades, we are legion, and if you even dip your toe into the Ren rabbit hole, you will be one as well - we're all family. Trust me.
Thanks for your respect to this Band, greetings from an old rockn roller, and from Germany
Nice reaction men, you are a positive human being and open for new things, it was nice to watch.
You are fun! Great song. You took me waaaay back with that one. Love from california.
Brian would sing like that for 2hrs straight every live concert they did and usually to crowds between 65-80,000 and most places would be 3 nights in a row when on tour then on to the next place and their album tours would usually go for 8-12 months.
You need to watch ‘whole lotta Rosie’ live at River Plate. Great reaction ❤️
Oh, yeah. You've gotta check THAT out. Great kick-ass performance. And that Argentinian crowd - they know how to party.
They were at it since the 70's...
AC DC are still rocking the same way today, the lead guitarist Angus young wrote this song thunderstruck when their plane was struck by lightning ⚡ when they were flying from Holland to Germany touring
Love your reaction! You're a head banger and didn't know it!!!!! Welcome to the club!!!
LOVE this reaction! Love how much you love Angus too LOL!
I subscribed, REALLY😊LIKED YOUR expressions, Wow factor, amazed, disbelief, especially when COOL, AWESOME ANGUS playing and duck walking his guitar on his knees in one part there and main singer with unique voice, LOVED THE WHOLE THRILL!! The drummer beating the hell outta those skins..flatout, Wuhuu your generation excite me with your reactions, I have a few favourites, you're one of my best, ever!!Thankyou and have an awesome Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!!! I'm gonna get my grandsons to watch your reaction to THEIR BELOVED IDOLS, ACDC 4EVER!!! It will be PRICELESS watching them watching you😂!!! From New Zealand.
I tell you what, you are an ace bloke with a fantastic genuine attitude. I watch way too much youtube vids, and definitely too many reaction vids, but you are so funny. Keep going, you really make me smile. This from an old 71 yr old geezer in the England. You have made my evening. Thank you.
Heeeey DrayBoe, I've watched about 10 reactions of this video. Yours is by far the best. I saw ACDC live in 1980. Lincoln, Nebraska. you would have loved it. Lead singer carrying the lead guitarist on his shoulders the perimeter of the auditorium floor during a solo.
The Duck Walk 💯👌
One thing about AC/DC even if you are really old you will get up & rock.
7:58 - 8:30 "This n***a right here" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Best reaction ever!!!!
Great reaction hombre!!!!! You are a headbanger and just don’t know it yet!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Just rewatch your video and you will see!!!! If got the chops go find anything from their 3 nights in a row concerts at River Plate in Argentina in Dec of 2009. You won’t be disappointed!!!!! After all the lads are best tasted live in my humble opinion!!!!!!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 😍😍😍🎸🎸🎸🤩😎🍸
You have no choice but to be a headbanger when the music is this good haha
@@DrayBoeTV Exactly!!!!! 🎸🎸🎸😍🥳😎🍸
@@DrayBoeTV Check out For Those About to Rock live. They shoot off real cannons at their shows!
@@DrayBoeTV AC/DC is known to be the LOUDEST band ever live. Ask any rocker. They will confirm it.
@@ajruther67 They are the loudest live, I was lucky to see them live for their Stiff Upper Lip tour in 2001 in my tiny little state Tasmania in Australia and they could only squash 20,000 into the ground they played at and my ears were ringing for 3 days after it but the best night of my life and they put the whole show on for us like the Hells Bell, the cannons and of course the big blow up of Rosie because that song was written about a woman from Tasmania that had rocked Bon's world when they were in Tassie in the 70's and he wrote that song about her.
I love knowing young people understanding this story.
It's a fantastic story!!
One of those songs that'll get any party going.
I am Australian, same age as the band and an AC/DC fan & love to see young people being turned on by great musicians. Angas is one of the best lead guitar players in history. Watch them live in Argentina South America. The whole stadium shakes & audience is moving.

These guys must be pretty popular... Understatement of the decade.
I knew you'd love it!!!!❤
AC/DC are an Australian rock band. Their song "Back in Black" is featured in Iron Man and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Their song "Shoot to Thrill" is featured in The Avengers. Nearly the entire soundtrack of Iron Man 2 consists of AC/DC songs.
You gotta love them... they put it all out there
😭🤣 I swear I had the same exact reaction to Angus when I was first introduced to AC/DC
Just found your channel. Love that you appreciate good music when you hear it. You got me. Sub.
This song has converted so many people who "hated" rock music
Angus Young is a legend. The man did things to a guitar no one thought possible. He died from the effects of dementia on 18 November 2017. The world is a lesser place because of his absence from it.
This is NOT rap - this stuff actually takes talent!
Hello from Cody Wyoming! You're awesome keep it up😁
The band is from New South Wales, Australia and the lead singer, Brian Johnson, is from England.
Great video, honest reactions to a historic group; Bravo! Cheers!
I have subscribed to your channel with the Hope's of you doing more AC/DC anything live ALL thier music is FIRE!
Great reaction. I especially enjoyed the self-own with the headphones. I LOL'd.
This is one of the most American songs ever and it’s from an Australian band 😂 every football game I attended as a child had this or Crazy Train 😂
Awesome reaction.... going to see this incredible band THIS JULY at WEMBLEY STADIUM!!❤❤ Missed out in 1975..😂😂
Coming late to this. Enjoyed the reaction. You have a rock ‘n roll soul.😆😉
the 1 you like so much a few years back got dementia totally forgot the songs and the guitar n died just a few years ago i saw them live in 1989 great concert
Like your energy bro, subscribed
ACDC is Australia's greatest rock band.😊
It's freaky... the lead singer (Brian Johnson) has a speaking voice that is actually a growling baritone.
AC⚡DC brings the heat every. Damn. Time.
You say you particularly like guitar work? Check out an instrumental by these guys called 'Chase The Ace'. It's on the soundtrack to the movie 'Maximum Overdrive'. '86, '87, something like that. Angus Young just goes absolutely bugshit on that track. His brother Malcolm, the long haired dude in the blue T-shirt, backs him up with his trademark crunchy rhythm line & the drums boom like artillery. It frickin' rocks.
Saw them in my local pub in the 70s - brilliant then brilliant now
Dat nigga Angus Young! Wears a schoolboy uniform cus after school as a 13 year old he was going to AC/DC band rehearsals! Stuck with the uniform as thought it was funny n memorable. Now one of the best most legendary rock guitarists on the planet!!!😎🙏👍
The comedian Jim Bruier does a tribute skit to AC/DC. He says they can play anything and rock it out. The hokey pokey, or row your boat! It’s legendary
Love your reaction!
Love your energy brother
The guitarist loved chuck berry and this was a chuck berry move !
The venue was Brixton academy London 😊
The moment he realizes he accidentally steped into a holy grail of rock'n'roll
Please please react to AC/DC highway to hell live at riverplate. Heck react to the whole concert you won’t regret it.
Angus Young 😁 one of the best guitarists in the world
There still rocking today since the 70s.
