OMG, LIVE at RIVER PLATE! It's the most epic AC/DC concert film ever! The footage was shot with 32 HD cameras, so you feel like you're right in the front row of the concert at the Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Did you know that this was the last live album to feature rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young before his retirement from touring? It's so special to see him shredding it on stage and giving it his all. It's bittersweet knowing what happened later, but it's a testament to his talent and passion.
This concert film is a must-see for any AC/DC fan, and even if you're not, it'll definitely convert you into a fan. Get ready to rock out and have the time of your life!

So imagine you’re an AC/DC fan in Argentina. It’s been 13 yrs since they played a show in your country. The news comes that they are coming back. 3 shows immediately sell out in their 83k seat soccer (football 🙂) stadium. The day comes. You and 200k of your friends over 3 nights finally get there to see your favorite band. This is what it’s like. 🔥
Wow! 😃 -- Corey Roy
@@thisisitreactions 👏👏👏
This is why Argentinians and Australians get along so well. We share a rock & roll heartbeat
@@riiidiculoso8697 ❤️👏👏👏
@@riiidiculoso8697 and Rugby 😊
And most of the people in the audience hadn't even been born when AC/DC first took the world by storm in the late 1970s.
Malcolm's last live performance. Thank you Argentina from an 🇦🇺
Gracias Australia !!!!
the thing about the drummer, Phil Rudd, he is so steady that they send metronomes to him to calibrate
and an drum with a ciggie
I'm from Staten Island and I saw them in 82' and Highway to Hell's album cover was painted on the back of my denim jacket...😅
Imagine these guys been doing this since the '70s. They're all Grandpa age they are in their '60s now and still playing
The first time this was released was in 1975. And they were still going strong back in 2009... lovin this now in 2024 ❤
Que linda sos
Those 'young folks' grew up having their parents blasting out AC/DC in their homes. Can't help but wonder what Bon would have made of this crowd size. Proudly Australian, RIP Bon
It is weird how much you can miss someone you've never met, but I do miss Malcolm.
That crowd set of seismographs over 100 miles away. You know you ROCK when your crowd sets of machines used to messure earthquakes.
The whole River Plate concert is amazing.
AD/DC is one of those bands, that once you have fallen for them, you can pick out their songs in the first couple seconds after Angus has started playing. When they came to Grand Rapids Mi I was only able to get 1 ticket, I sent my 16 year old daughter because her education into rock and roll was my responsibility and I took it seriously.
That's what Dad's do!
@@thefeloniousscot3955 except I'm a mom lol.
That time when the whole country came to see AC/DC!!!
Real singing
Real musicians
Real crowd energy
Seen them 7 times between 1982 and 2009. All in the US. I have to give it to the Argentinians, their passion, and their energy level is out of this world. Great reaction. More AC DC please.
7 times! Wow that's awesome. 😃 Thanks for watching. We'll definitely be doing more AC/DC. We are loving this journey. -- Corey Roy
I saw them 6 times in the same time frame in Maine, such great shows. I also remember barely being able to hear the following day, lol.
@@mikeachenbach5519 actually they were my first concert on Feb 4th 1982 amd I vividly remember not being able to hear a damn thing lol
This not latinoamerica this is Argentina!!! The Best crowd ever!!!!
@@christianayala5009Who called Argentina Latin america? I'm well aware it is South America.
Gracias , por ver al publico argentino, el mejor del mundo , saludos hermanos
Bloody jealous, admire your passion, it's like watching you lot playing England with Maradonna and Messi up front! Hate and also at the same time love you lot, god bless!
At the same concert your man Angus shows what he can do in the song let there be rock.
Almost 20 minutes solo with the crowd eating out of his hand .
Phil Rudd on Drums is a Human metronome ... Awesome
200;000 people at that concert in a 83,000 capacity stadium amazing
66 yo granny here- me and my 10 yo grandson have so much fun together rocking out to this! He thought he was introducing it to me. LOL
One thing that doesn't get talked about a lot, is that Malcolm Young (the rhythm guitarist and Angus's brother), was in the first stages of dementia, and was LITERALLY having to relearn the songs that he had played for years, every few days. Once this tour concluded, he retired. I have seen them 10 times, starting in 1983. Best live band EVER. You guys have GOT to react to Riff Raff (live 1978). It's arguably one of the best live performances of ANY band, ever caught on tape. And it's the OPENING number. Check it out.
Same but I saw them with Bon Scott, swore when he died I would never see them again, but , Back in Black happened then for those about to rock and I was hooked
agree Angus really rated Malcolm - he thought Mal was really tight and disciplined -
I saw them at Bilbao in Spain, last show he ever played. Best show I’d ever seen!
@@simoncampbell3144 When Bon Scott was interviewed and was asked which one he was, the AC or the DC, he replied: "I am the lightning."
Thats so sad .
They definitely GET DOWN. That's the way it was back then. I've been to COBO HALL IN DETROIT AND EVERY TIME I WENT BACK IN THE 70S THE PLACE WAS PACKED AND ROCKING
The stadium held 83,000 for a soccer game. One of the performances here had 129,000 counting the fan on the field. This was Malcolm Young's last concert. He retired after 5he River Plate because he was suffering from dementia and couldn't remember how to play the songs. You need to watch the "Let there be Rock" segment of this concert. Angus does a 14 minute solo and the more the audience reacted the wilder he got. He once commented that the audience reactions gave him a greater rusn than any drug he could imagine.
English lead vocalist (Brian Johnson), but Australians will try an claim he's australian. Born in UK, to British parents, and joined AC DC at age of 32. The fact remains that he's British. British music genes, that's why he's good.
These guys have been rocking like this since the early '70's!
We saw Ac/Dc in August 2017. They played like they were still 20 yo. Unbelievable
Brian retired shortly after
regardless if fan or not, a live AC/DC show, something to experience...the energy...it just nuts... a veteran of 7 live shows
I am 62 and was very fortunate to see AC/DC live 1989 ish (the Razors Edge tour), and they were just as awesome and electric as they are here....one of the best concerts I ever went to.....
This is the good kind of TRIBAL that brings us all together!
Thanks for watching
"Whole Lotta Rosie" @ River Platte is another great one!!!
Thanks for the suggestion Whipporwillsong2256. We'll definetly check it out. -- Corey Roy
Yeah that’s the one. Angus on fire.
They really are a timeless band. Different people from different backgrounds all over the world love them.
Angus Youngs teacher said he would never turn out to anything 😆 ACDC 😎👍Cool video!
One of my biggest regrets, not seeing AC/DC LIVE!
AC DC y Argentina= combinación perfecta❤💪🏼
The talent is unmatched. Very few notice that that opening riff is done one-handed.
The greatest Rock & Roll band of all time!
Yes sir
The best rock band in history, in one of its best moments. The best audience for rock in the world. Possibly the best rock concert in history. Nothing could go wrong.
Look at all of the young people in the crowd. It's awesome my favorite band that i listened to in the 80's now have the kids of 2023 jamming to what we Jamed to all those years ago Pretty awesome shit
The 'River Plate' concerts are legendary....you must do "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "For Those About To Rock" and if you have 18 minutes to spare, "Let There Be Rock" for some Angus solo highlights. Insane!
Second this !!
What is the capacity of this gig?
@@seanswinton6242 70,000 plus were at these shows.....3 nights in a row.
@@seanswinton6242 eighty thousend people is the capacity of the stadium un a soccer game
Argentinians be crazy! I would love to see a game or concert there.
We all know how we feed off the vibes of people around us be it positive or negative. When you’re around somebody that’s in good spirits it rubs off on you. I say that to say imagine the feeling you get with tens of thousands of people all there vibing with you. The high of being on stage like that must be unreal.
AC/DC forever !! They always bring it !!
This whole dvd is beyond amazing. 🤯🤯🤯
Glad you checked it out. Even after you checked out the last version.
Nothing flashy no gimmiks just good old Rock n Roll. AC/DC are the best at it period.
Saw them live 2 times. First 13 rows from stage. Ears rang for 3 days! Loud as hell!
The most exhilarating live performance I have ever seen.
This is the way we feel music in Argentina! ACDC is a legendary band, rocks fans love it. I was there I almost die cause no space! 300000 people in 3 days in the biggest soccer stadium of the country! The sound was perfect
I'm 68 and have been in crowds that big!!!!😍😍
Back in the day I went to many concerts this big. I’m 65 now. I saw these guys probably 5 times. Difference back then WORST thing that happened was a fist fight or someone passing out in the crowd. Now it seems guns and violence are part of every concert! So sad. Love your channel!
Angus goes off at Riverplate especially "Back in Black " when the crowd sings the opening guitar riff. 'Whole Lot of Rosie" "For those about to Rock" "Rock and Roll Train" to open the show is nuts.
Now that’s what you call a Rock Concert!!
This is the Alabama Crimson Tide’s song when they take the field. It’s amazing!!
Hardly a phone in sight. Magical
Saw AC/DC in concert as a teenager. Amazing show
There is no musical artist/band today that would attract this kind of crowd. This is a band from the era of when music and musicians were real. No autotune.
There is no country, race, age, status, THE ROCK GET INTO YOUR VAINS AND YOU FILL IT... THE LIBERATION, THE FEELING, THE FURY.. THE FREEDOM.. THAT'S ROCK 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
"TNT" live at River Plate next please... it'll blow your minds!!!🤯 Great reaction guys!!! Peace and light...💞
Hi Tina, Glad you enjoyed the reaction.😊 Thanks for the suggestion as well. Can't wait to check it out. -- Corey Roy
The only worldclass band with a gitarist as the frontman!🎉
As an Australian i can tell the true ACDC fan not saying you don't all enjoy them but the one that has a smile on his face the whole song..... awesome
Brian Johnson (lead singer) is from England, born bred in England, to English parents, only joined AC DC at the age of 32. He a career and a band in England before becoming lead singe of AC DC. People should know he's in fact not australian, but English
@@arsenalmanic I have never denied that fact, the band though IS Australian and became famous with the ORIGINAL singer Bon Scott. If people are unaware of Brian Johnsons heritage they can just Google it.
@@arsenalmanicWe Aussies don’t give a shit that Brian J is English. We see the band and the band is Australian.
@@JJ-xi1fq It's mainly about his vocals, and he's English. The band without him would be rubbish
@@arsenalmanic He’s definitely an asset. He brought his own style to the band and it complimented what was already established. The band however will always be an Australian product.
That's how it was with 500,000 people in Toronto Canada in 2003 Its crazy energy❤😂Much love from Canada❤🇨🇦
The one thing that sticks out in my mind is With all these young people gathered in one place and as rowdy as they may seem you don't hear of one word of violence not one person injured or hurt or Shot. They are just there for a good time. Music is the Universal Language of love and Peace. God Bless you guys I enjoy your reactions. Keep up the good work.
Any ACDC song from River plate is great
The best ever live performance, the audience were unbelievable
Malcolm and Angus young are the most passionate musicians that have graced us sooo enjoy it while you can ..rip Malc
i'm amazed at the size of the crowd. It looked lke waves on an ocean. Great band with many great songs. Thanks for your reaction.
Huge fan of them since i was kid amd im a 1970 kid PLUS rhus is the entrance song to every University of Alabama Football Team ROLL TIDE🐘🏈❤
And nobody is murdering no one! Pure acdc energy, power & metal ecstasy! You are awesome. Teach our youth.
I saw their first American appearance, July 1977. They opened for a Canadian band called Moxy. It was in a converted National Guard Armory called 'The Armadillo World Headquarters' in Austin Texas. The stage was 3' high with no barrier. I stood 2 feet from Angus while he played "Whole lotta Rosie". Bon Scott was killin' it. There was maybe 1500 people there.
Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
Lucky enough, I grew up in a time, where my older brother taught me about rock n roll, and it's importance and mastery. And u could see these bands, in their prime, at concerts where 20,000 people was a small show! When I was 12 he took me to my first concert. It was either a Houston Jam, or Texas Jam festival. The band lineup was Mountain, Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO) Judas Priest, Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult, and Black Sabbath. Now THAT'S an epic, first concert! I saw bands like that, Van Halen, Billy Squier, The Cult, Motley Crue, Metallica, KISS, ACDC, and countless others. Even caught a lot of huge bands, come do their concerts, then they used to come wind down, at Houston's premiere rock club, called, Backstage! Saw countless huge bands play this two story, 500 capacity club, and tear it up! Pantera used to always come through there!
One other thing I've read in the comments that several people have said - AC/DC is also the loudest band live. A bunch of people said you can't hear for 2 or 3 days after attending an AC/DC concert. I've had AC/DC come on in my car, cranked it to the max, and had people walk by giving me a thumbs up as soon as they heard it.
Greatest live band ever , privileged to see them twice ❤👊😎
Not to brag, but i've seen them 9 times, twice with Bon Scott. And that's something no one can ever take away from me.
I use to see them at the local pub in my town when Bon Scott was the front man . Great Aussie band. Glad everyone is enjoying acca dacca...😊
Knew the guys from Chequers - nicest guys,I miss them
Lifer here and this is the best in da biz
The River Plate Concert is a Legend!!! Best of the best EVER!!
And I love you guys reactions and comments. Best to you, friends!👍🏻
You really have to see Whole Lotta Rosie from this same concert! They rock out on a whole other level!
I’m not a big AC/DC fan but that gives me goosebumps 😮
Best Rock N Roll band ever...Period!!!
I know Angus gets the attention, and is warranted for sure, but the key to AC/DC is their rhythm section. Holding it down in the pocket, and that allows Angus to do his magic!
You guys rock!
Acdc is my mother's favourite band, I then grew up on them and all good pub band music.
So thank you so much for showing love to one of the biggest band's in Australia and worldwide.
I did alway's love the absolute rarities of losing your original frontman and finding another from Scotland that sounded the same
RIP BON SCOTT 🖤🖤
I was lucky enough see AC/DC in concert a few times . They didn’t disappoint at all.
Welcome to the world of AC/DC brother's
I remember talking to a friend at work. I said "How can ACDC keep being so popular after all these years?" The next words out of my mouth were, "Oh that's right, Angus Young."
Always amazes me no one thinks about how old these guys are. How long they been going. And how ruff my boys are! Angus in his school uniform? Complete with hat and short pants!! My gods !hit me again!
AC/DC back in black is the #1 selling album of all time in rock & roll selling as of today over 62 million albums. That is 1 album for every 5 Americans alive today. I have seen them live 3 times in the 80's. Good old days when 120,000 people go to a concert & no one gets hurt. Never happen today.
My first concert was in an arena seeing ACDC WHEN THEY PLAYED HELLS BELLS A HUGE BELL CAME DOWN FROM CEILING AND OMG WHEN IT RANG IT VIBRATED YOUR BODY ,THESE GUYS ARE LEGENDARY
SHOOT TO THRILL!!!! IRON MAN Thats whats upppppppp!!!!!!!!! ACDC
Man that was electric!! Those Argentinians went buck wild!! I could feel the energy 14 years after the fact!!! 🏈 🏀 to the 🧱!!!!
We don’t fuck around in Argentina 🇦🇷 🤟🏽
Seen them 4x in concert!!! My favorite band!!!
Arguably the greatest rock band ever -- not in nuance or melody, but tightness, instrumental ability and rock-ability!!
This band are simply incredible live. No better boys 2 party hard with !! xx
Best rock show ever. Period. I doubt they’ll ever tour again……
Love, love your reactions. I was fortunate to live in the era and watch these bands live. Rush, AC/DC, Scorpions, Ozzy, Triumph, Metallica, Def Leppard, Van Halen just to name a few. Keep up the great reactions!👍😎
Don’t matter who or what you are …this shit gets you on your feet
You HAVE to check out Whole Lotta Rosie and Let There Be Rock at the same concert! Mind blowing!
I remember when rock ruled the world🤘🏽🔥
I've seen them three times and they never disappoint. ❤
These guys were on posters on my dorm room wall…..in the early 80’s! They are still going strong. Their lead guitarist drank milk when all his contemporaries were into drugs. That’s why he is still performing & they are pushing up daisies!
What has Always made AC⚡️DC great is the rhythm section, tight, in studio and out Live! Constant Force and so much appreciated Malcomb for pushing this! It’s why they are best live show.
