Sith Warrior as the best storyline in swtor????😂😂😂😂😂😂 great joke - wait what you were actually serious about that? *here the real ranking - worst to best* *8. Jedi Consualer* : Boring story, forgettable companions, annoying voices and just forgettable. Played 3-4 times still can't remember what happens or just don't care. *7. Smuggler* : Good oneliners a few good compainons, but overall forgettable story, and the voice acting is just meh *6. Sith Warrior* : Some cool companions and some good voice acting, but overall not really exciting story, chapter 1 is sooo boring. *5. Jedi Knight* : One of the best companions (Kira), Good voice acting (especially female), chapter 2 is just one dead run with pointless story. *4 Sith Inqus* : Interesting story, some good dialouge, voice acting is meh, some good companions, the story is strong in all chapters which makes it better than Jedi Knight. *3 Trooper* : Best female voice acting (Jennifer Hale), some fun fight, some awesome companions, and a great story overall, only downside some fights are just too easy. *2 Bounty Hunter* : 100% the best and most awesome companion in the game (Meko), Amazing story where you actually have an impact in what happens and how it turns out. Love it *1 Imp Agent* : What can i say, best story in a Star Wars game since KOTOR. Awesome and fun companions, great voice acting (doing different accents), Amazing amazing amazing. There's the correct list. All of these i have played 3-4 times (and some more) and this ranking never changes.
@@Generalbas1972I think you fail to understand the concept of opinions... I've also played through all of the surprises more than once and I wouldn't agree with your ranking.... It's your opinion and that's fine, but don't be a dick about it
So did trooper and the story was even worse. Every person in game agreed that Trooper was the worst one and these nerds said trooper is better than agent. I gotta give this video a big thumbs down. These guys know nothing about the game. It’s like they just made this video to create an argument.
I loved the Sith Inquistor storyline and Khem Val was such a great companion. Who wouldn't want to have a giant dark side monster as your companion that threatenes to eat people and says he will defeat you one day.
Khem was ok if every single talk with him wasn't complaining about Tulak hord and how awesome it was back in his day. He is a loyal to a fault monster by the end atleast.
Sith inquisitor is the best storyline IMO. It was the first time that I felt that I was a sith but not overpowered. SPOILER : you start as nothing, you progress, you get a master, you fight for him, he betrays you (who could have seen that coming?), you get a new rival, you find a way to oppose him through ghosts of the force and even with that it's hard ! Such good memories !
All that along with the fantasy of the class. Searching, decoding the force mysteries of the galaxy. Unleashing the power of ancient force techniques. Legacy of the sith in your veins and reclaiming your birthright. Mastermind, manipulator, diplomat, assassin and cult leader. Similar to the consular you are a book nerd that talks trash and can back it up by serving you a knuckle sandwich with a side of [shock]. SI is the only class along with BH I have played all the way through thrice and so far the *only* class I have completed all the storylines (all the way through to current) with. Also Sith Inquisitor is probably the only class that fits perfectly with anything that has to do with the KotfE storylines. Two (Three is you count Valkorion's daughter) incredibly powerful and knowledgeable, on the force, individuals duking it out all over the galaxy.
Sith Inquisitor is given everything on a silver platter. Zash helps you early on, your ancestor spirit helps you, Khem is bound to help you, your cult helps you, Zash's former apprentices help you, random moffs appear and help you, even the Rakata Mother and the Voss ritual is there to help you. There is no build-up for any of these, thus they don't feel deserved. They just appear because the character needs to reach council level.
@@bindair_dundat But you beat a council member with your own power , everything else is destiny , it was her destiny to rise from slave pits to the dark council and currently she deserves to be the empress since she is possibly the strongest sith now.
Just by having branching choices alone doesn't make the story a good story, because in the end, you still do the same quests with the same results. Sure, you become Hand of Jadus and get an extra mission on Hoth, but that's really the difference. Compare to SW story, where your choices actually matter in the long run, since you get a completely different companion who has different voice lines, attitude, storyline, even appearance customization.
Imperial Agent was so good. I think the James Bond tropes really were a blessing rather than a hinderance for that story. I also really liked that there was an option to play the story as if you were just another cog in the Imperial wheel. You could really just lean into the idea that you were raised in the Empire and you're loyal to a fault. But you arent necessarily good OR evil, you're just doing your job and protecting your people.
There is NO WAY you ranked the Trooper that high. Trooper was the very first class I tried and it was the last class I finished 6 years later, their class story was THAT boring.
Act 1 was decent with hunting traitors but was never carried over to Act 2 and 3, it basically fell off after Act 1. Alot of potential, but nothing came of it.
Putting Agent bellow trooper is just wanking. They said councular had a boring voice actor well So did trooper and the story was even worse. Every person in game agreed that Trooper was the worst one and these nerds said trooper is better than agent. I gotta give this video a big thumbs down. These guys know nothing about the game. It’s like they just made this video to create an argument.
I found Light Side Sith Warrior to be interesting. DS choices were just pure kill kill kill, LS choices were manipulation, schemes etc. much more interesting.
Just played through as mostly light side recently. There are actually quite a few options where you are simply being merciful. It is fun how every time you go light side people are in utter shock that you aren't like what they imagine from a Sith. There are also quite a few references to you being light side and how it will be your undoing in the end that also add a layer to the story.
Sith Inquisitor should definitely be higher up imo. You feel the most powerful out of any class in the game by the end of Chapter 3. Plus it also helps that the female Inqui has one the most wicked, sadistic, and hottest voices I have ever heard.
Right? It's my #1 choice (but honestly I don't play Jedi/good guys at all, and I've only done Sith Marauder and Sorcerer so far... but *shrug* I stand by my choice
Pfff ,come on Bounty hunter is able to counter sith abilities ,Yes Sith and Jedi are the Strongest in melee but at range ? The Bounty Hunter just wipe them out
@@nightlord8756 a poweful forceuser can feel that youre aiming at them, its not that easy. Anyways whitch trooper would be able to kill nihilus or yoda ?
@@fynnjon3024 The reality is, unless you are god gifted in the force you are just going to die to some random ass orbital bombardment or your ship gets blown up
A big problem with the Trooper story imo, is that you get way too many opportunities to disobey direct orders without any real consequences. "How dare you disobey my order! Anyway," ect ect. I know that is just the way the game is structured, but it always took me out of the experience. In fact, I would go as far as to say that the Trooper story is the only one that feels well and truly immersion breaking.
I find myself disagreeing very strongly with that ranking. Imperial Agent is so good I replayed it fully over twenty times. This is the ONLY story for which choices truly do matter. Your ending is affected by choices you make as early as Act 1. For an RPG, that seems mandatory. Every. Single. Other class just fails on that, delivering only cosmetic differences between light and dark for the most part - often decided in the final stretch of the game. Trooper at rank 3 is just criminal. It should be at or below Consular - Consular was boring as fuck but at least the very late story got a little more interesting. Trooper is boredom from start to finish, only saved by Femshep. To me the proper ranking is this. S-Tier: Agent A-Tier: Warrior, Inquisitor, Knight B Tier: Bounty Hunter, Smuggler F Tier: Consular, Trooper Note that while I enjoy rerolling, I never manage to get far with either Consular or Trooper.
Great list. Would move trooper up one and smuggler down one but otherwise gaoted ranking mister Tywin. Lets be real, dealing with characters like the consular is what made Anakin leave the jedi order and go full child butcher.
@@mikel9138 I'll grant you that while it is a mirror to the Jedi Knight story - in that it is expected and you are an actual Sith (and not a slave forced to become one), it was completely new for us to experience in the Star Wars Universe. We played the hero, many times. We played the hero *falling* many times as well. But never did we really start Dark. Sith Warrior is an absolute novelty on that. So yes, an argument could be made to rank it a little higher. I remember when I started playing the game, I wanted to play Light Side Consular. It was in 2016. I had just finished both Kotors. I managed to play Consular up to level ... 20? Reached Coruscant, that I remember. I was hunting the Noetikons... and then I realised I was bored out of my ass being a good guy consular. So I rerolled Inquisitor, and I never looked back. I fell in love with the Imperial side so badly, I waited for the game to offer the option to actually betray your faction to start playing republic characters. And indeed. Every single Pub I have, is a saboteur XD.
I feel like Bounty Hunter's story is written so well. Dialogue is great, story missions are interesting and characters all feel genuinely alive and the world feels lived in. Plus, the dynamics between each crew member are amazing to watch. It feels like they actually exist and make their own choices. Mako and Torian's interactions with each other and you and also how they develop overtime make them some of my favourite companions out of any storyline. The whole crew just feels like one big found family that actually coexist in the same space and I love it.
I think BH story is not the most epic or intricate by far, but the BH has some hilarious dialogues and great companions, you can really have a fun time
@@MarineCARMINE mine hold to the rules stated . He says he's taking it on story and ruwweg at imperial agent he says it's prob the best story ,but he takes it at 4. My opinions at least keep to their own set rules and aren't invalidated by what I say . This guy invalidates his own opinions . But I like how you thought you had something on me ,while completely missing the obvious XD . You're not the smartest cookie, are ya ? ;) (try to think for 10 seconds before replying next time you "think " you have something witty to say ) Xxx ;)
Haven't played in years. But I do remember beating all of them. Sith Warrior was my personal favorite. I think Counselor story was most boring. But like I said, it's been a while.
If you don't like diplomacy and stuff like that, valid. But personally it's my top favorite besides the sith warrior, but hey I love myself some politics and diplomacy lol
I would say Sith Warrior first, Imp Agent second for me. I just can't get over Jadus. For me Jadus>Baras and it is a crime Jadus was not utilized more.
It's been how many years and Lana is still blueballing us about Jadus' return I wouldn't be surprised if the threat Malgus is alluding too is Jadus leading the True^2 Sith
The Sith Inquisitor Storyline is the absolute best in my opinion! I actually prefer playing as a Jedi Knight, but the Inquisitor's story is so replayable and engaging. You start as a slave, facing all odds, and eventually become a Dark Councilor, overseeing a whole Sphere of Influence in the Sith Empire. It's the only story I've played multiple times and even watched all the cutscenes. I don't get why people hype up the Agent Story so much. I've only played it once, and I've been playing this game for a long time. The Sith Warrior comes close as a great story too. So, my top three stories are Inquisitor, Warrior, and Knight. Bioware really missed the mark with the Consular story; it's just too dull.
I may not be the biggest SWTOR fan, but hell, I'll never forget, nor lose appreciation for the ballsy ambition and incredible touches of world-building details SWTOR went for and had. It was truly something else and I'll always remember the goosebumps I had all the way back in 2011 right before launch.
Same. Imo Knight also has the most interesting companions on the whole. Not the individually most interesting, but none of them beyond Rusk are forgettable, and a 4/5 is really solid here.
From personal experience playing them all. The level of fun I had with each story were as follows: 1: Smuggler (Going darkside smuggler just is so fun and makes you a pirate king by the end) 2: Sith Warrior (A true classic) 3: Jedi Consular (Oddly enough enjoyed it despite its rather boring premise on paper) 4: Sith Inquisitor (Awesome set up and rise to power) 5: Imperial Agent (Enjoyed it and can see why it gets the hype it does but not my personal favorite) 6: Jedi Knight (By the book paint by numbers. Still had fun for the all the core lore elements) 7: Trooper (Can't remember anything from this besides the opening) 8: Bounty Hunter (Was the last class I played all the way through the story of, it hits all the elements you would want from it but just feels so cliche at the same time that it bored me to death)
Yo the inquisitor is my jam starting out as a literal slave only to become one of the most powerful sith in the empire it doesn't getvany better for me
Exactly the story progression from sith to dark council member is one of the best arcs in the entirety of Star Wars. Definitely number one class story.
I believe each ranking of classes depends on how you play them. I always add a light roleplay to my characters so that they are more consistent in how they answer in conversation and their choices. For example, I play my Sith Warrior as a grey Sith. I'm still a Sith but don't go around murdering and maiming just for the sake of it. I try to stay calm and avoid bloodshed when possible, which makes good fun as you confuse the Jedi you encounter at times. But betray my Sith warrior, and you will be in a world of pain, as I value loyalty highly (which a certain someone in the story learned the hard way).
I have not played this in years and only completed the Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter one. You guys make me want to reinstall the game to atleast try out and complete the other class Story line.
The first time I played BH I hated the story and my character because I went full dark. When I recently replayed it I went neutral and found some of the best lines in the game. Same goes for smuggler and most others... actually the only story that I've found to best be played as full light/dark is full light consular. (Which I hated when I initially went full dark) Such a good game and it's relieving to see someone rank the stories without agent and inq being 1 and 2
***SPOILER*** although I agree it's more on the boring side in chapter one, I love the consular storyline. If you like KOTOR and KOTOR 2, it has a lot of lore details relating to those games, and it's the only story where the very first person you meet is the same one you must face at the end of chapter three. No other story does that.
What I love about the class stories in SWTOR is that everyone can find something different in them. Some will like the trooper storyline, some will like the Jedi Knight storyline, some will like the Smuggler storyline. In other words, each player can find his favorite storyline here. I love the Smuggler storyline from the Republic Classes and the Sith Inquisitor storyline from the Imperial Classes. Ty for video) P. S. I've been watching you since WOW, my DK 48 LVL)
Ok while I agree that the Warrior feels so fun to play through (it was my first story to complete) I still think the Inquisitor kinda beats it sometimes. I guess it depends on how you like to experience the Sith story perhaps. For me I'd say Inquisitor and Agent are my top picks. Warrior, Hunter, Knight and Smuggler are all great in their own ways. At the Bottom I would put Consular and Trooper and while they do have their moments as well it's simply not enough for me.
It’s actually insane that you get like 8 30 hour fully voice acted story campaigns for free. I’m usually not an mmo player but this is one of those mmos that you can basically play like it’s an rpg. I’m playing KOTOR 1 for the first time cause I’m getting way too impatient waiting for the remake and this game is basically KOTOR 3 since you get a story mode that’s about as long as another Kotor game would’ve been.
can't believe you put sith inquisitor so low, it's my favorite storyline, love that you start from a literal slave and slowly build up your power, gain allies, even make your own cult and end up as one of the most powerful siths in the empire and a member of the dark council.
IMP AGENT AT NR 4 WTF. Did we play the same game. That shit is goated and im a vanilla jedi knight🤓 player primarily so this really should not be as enjoyable for me as it is but fuck me its good. This story could be its own game.
So I'm gonna go against the grain and be surprised the Smuggler ranked so low. Great companions IMHO, and the most a game has ever made me laugh. Its a great action-comedy genre I feel, and I love that you rise up to basically own your own Tortuga. The privateer storyline of act 2 was also great.... jeez this is making me want to play it a third time. Only class I've beaten twice so far.
The best part about the origin stories in SWTOR, all of them, is that you can simulate character development/progession through certain events and dialog options. For example, the way I play my main Jedi Knight is that she's your standard good guy Jedi at first, just a little too eager to engage her enemies in battle. Over time she develops an ego through her accomplishments and victories, so she's become over confident and pretty self-righteous by the time she (spoiler alert) gets captured and possessed by the emporer. Whatever it's Vitiates evil rubbing off and staying with her, or an insatiable thirst for victory over her foes, it's the point in which she goes full dark side; mind controlling people left and right and becoming obsessed with accumulating power to bring down the emporer/destroy the Sith Empire for good. On the flip side, my main Sith Warrior starts out as short tempered, violent thug, who couldn't care less about who he hurts, so long as he succeeds in his assigned tasks and not get on Barras' bad side. But after being confronted by (again, spoiler alert) his light side reflection on Tatooine, he becomes more easy going and actually starts to think before he acts. Leading him to spare people if there is no point in killing them, even enemies, or actively helping out people in need. He's still unwaveringly loyal to the empire, but begins to see its cracks for what they are. And when Ziost happens, and it turns out everything he was raised to believe was just a means to an end for the emporer to become more powerful, he's pretty much "screw this, I'm out." There's more of course, but these two have really grown on me. Not just as a role play, but as fully fleshed out OC's.
I don’t get the hype people feel for Imperial Agent. It had some plot twists and turns but story overall was not that impressive. I have 2 big concerns; 1) I wish we could’ve joined Hunter. The Empire and the Sith betrayed us. It just doesn’t make any sense to stay loyal the Empire even though we erased all of our data from existence. And if you’re playing as Chiss; it’s even worse. 2) Hand of Jadus storyline feels like they gave up the idea in the 2nd chapter. Jadus literally vanishes from the existence and all the hype from 1st chapter feels like a disappointment. I didn’t play Trooper and Smuggler yet but Warrior was the 1st storyline I’ve played and it is still the best so far. I’d put Consular as 2nd. It has the most logical and consistent storyline. Knight and Inquisitor shares 3rd place. They were both great but not interesting enough for me. I’m not sure about 4th and 5th place tho; Bounty Hunter was enjoyable but I can’t even remember the storyline & it was really insignificant.
I played a Bounty Hunter all the way through the first expansion and loved every moment of it! life got busy and haven't been able to check it out in quite a while but want to get back into it and from what i've experienced in the past, your list is fairly accurate. Looking forward to starting the Sith Warrior playthrough soon!! thanks for the content, keep up the great work!! Also, Happy Holidays to you and yours!
I really wish SWTOR had 3 factions. Republic side, Empire side and Independent side. Let anyone be the independent side, sort of how they do their spies system in the main class and dlc stories, but with the twist that in later dlc's you go full independence and can go to anywhere in the system. Imagine SWTOR where the bounty hunter works with and against the empire through a bounty system where if you help out say the empire too much and take jobs from them would make the republic fear you more and hire bounties on your head that act as sort of impromptu dalies. A jail system so that if you lose a battle against bounty hunters you go to jail and either talk your way out, break out or serve a sentence.
My personal take on this (I played this game since it came out): 1) The best of the best: Imperial Agent. There is just nothing close to this. Agents have the most interesting and well written story of all classes. Its just marvelous, and unlike many other class stories, this one keeps getting better and better and better, it is just a blast from the start to the end. Plus, you got the funniest relationship and the only one that isn't like "oh, you are so powerful and beautiful, do you really love me? lets get married!". No, Kaliyo will make your life way harder than that. Another plus, you have the best starship of all classes hands down. PLUS two of your companions play a very big role in later expansions, and while you don't really fit the role of commander, you have fought sith and jedi before, you know what your are doing and you know how to be a responsible leader. The voice acting is pure perfection, and the animations and aesthetics are quite amazing aswell. 2) The sith inquisitor. As was said in the video, this is pure dark star wars magic fantasy, with plenty of chances to be good and fight the evil within the empire or sink yourself in the dark side. It is allways interesting, and you get a monster companion that eats force user souls. That's allways nice. Their romance options are (in my opinion) very poor and not that satisfying, but hey, there is allways Lana Beniko. 3) The bounty hunter. Their story is quite good, to be honest, but the best part is chapter one. It's so fking good. It doesn't really get boring at any point, and the voice acting is just something else, specially on male hunters. Your companions are... Not that good, to be honest. The only good one is the jawa one, but you get him very late in the story. It doesnt feel good to be a commander with this character. I mean, one day you are killing whoever for money, next day you are a noble soul who saves the galaxy? Also, the fact that you are an imperial class doesn't really fit that well with the bounty hunter thing, if you ask me. But still, their story is amazing, the animations and aesthetics are amazing, and the starship is really cool too. Overall, a magnificent class choice. 4) The jedi knight. The story is good on its own, but the best part is that the game is designed for you. No other class fullfills the commander role as well as the jedi knight in the later expansions, and no other class has that kind of deep influence in every other class stories. You are the main character and it shows. Their romance is good enough, but most of their companions are... boring. Their class story is good along all three chapters and you will never get bored. 5) Sith warrior. The companions are cool, the story is just sith regular fantasy. Fight the enemies of the empire (with usually means imperial people), blah blah. Treason, blah, blah. Unlike with the sith inquisitor, there is not much going below the surface here, but it feels quite good playing the expansions, and it makes you feel POWERFUL. The aesthetics and animations are on point and you feel like you could smash the shit away from the emperor himself if he dares to stand in your way. 6) The smuggler. This class is only here because of chapter 1. That first part of their class story? Pure gold, my friends. Amazing. Ashtonishing. It almost makes it worthwhile to be a thievery peasant with no force powers in a world dominated by sith and jedi. Almost. Then you finish chapter one and you gotta play through chapters 2 and 3... And they are a pretty big dissapointment. While it feels good to play through their class story, it feels stupid pretending to be the Alliance commander. I mean, your clever lines and a petty blaster are not gonna be enough to save the galaxy, im sorry. The only reason Im not putting this in the bottom of the list is because trooper and sage exists. Also, your starship is A PAIN IN THE ARSE to navigate. If companions could freely move around it instead of having a fixated position, you would never be able to talk to them. 7) The jedi sage. Boring. It is just boring through chapters 1, 2 and 3. Imagine playing a healer class all through all the story and thats the feeling you get from this class. Your companions suck aswell, it feels like just being a regular jedi and not the main character of the game. It will forever stand in the shadow of the real main character here, the jedi knight. Mediocrity at it's peak. 8) The trooper. Chapter one is like 4/10. chapter 2 is a sound 1/10 and chapter 3 is the same as chapter 2 because they are the exact same story but in different planets. Your companions suck, all of them, and the feeling you get is "oh, the empire builded a big bad weapon, lets destroy it" over and over and over again. The first chapter is a little bit more exciting, but not by much. Your starship is somewhat cool, and the story is so bad that you will spent a lot of time just iddling inside it, doing nothing because you are bored to death. At least it feels good as a commander in the expansions, because even if you are not force sensitive you are a trained warrior and a leader. You are also a big republic diehard, but that's something that adds a little spice when you are forced to work with imperials. The aesthetics and animations are just mediocre aswell. I mean, the bounty hunter gets to fly to their objective using a badass jetpack but you just run (sometimes throuth the air, like an armored magic unicorn) and then do a pitiful charge to your victim. They use the jetpack to perform a FKING FIRE PUNCH while you hit your enemy with your riffle electric butt. Most of your armors have a stupid square box backpack, but you can have an autocannon. That whould've been cool, I guess, if commando wasn't the worse dps class in the entire game. And that's that, sorry for all that text.
Actually, I would rather put the sith inquisitor on 1st place. Every other class has "something" to begin with. But as the Sith Inquisitor you have to go from nothing to everything. Also, SPOILER ALERT: After Onslaught expansion, the sith Inquisitor ends up in the best place comparing with other classes. So, if you also want to do SWTOR expansions with a character, Inquisitor class would be the best choice.
Yes. Like in the overall story from vanilla to where we are now. The Inquisitor is the BEST choice for story and how things would realistically unfold. Being the Empire's Wrath again is just stupid, they should have placed the Warrior on the Dark Council - killed off Krovos and Lana handles the whole War and Military (whatever the title of Krovos is).
Love the Consular, I don't care what others say. But yes, the darkside options seem...odd, but a few classes have that problem. As for the voice acting, I love them both. To me, they are pure Jedi, emotionally detached, focused on the here and now and if becoming one with the force is their fate, so be it. But make so mistake, I love the other voice actors too. My personal favourite is between the Sith Warrior male and Imperial Agent male, both of them are so good. But they all do a great job though.
I loved becomimg Darth Impreius and battling Darth Malak on his station as the fleet battles around you. And i loved weirding everyone out while choosing every light side option.
Don’t agree with anything except Sith Warrior & Bounty Hunter being on top. While all stories have something unique about them, I feel like the imperial ones are just way better, because playing pure dark or pure light on those actually feels impacting & vastly different from one another. Trooper & Smuggler are the best republic ones, because they sometimes follow the same principles, which also makes sense lore wise & just logically, while Knight & Consular are only fun played light, with maybe the occasional dark side choice. Dark side choices with imperial characters (smuggler & trooper as well) are actually evil, with the knight & consular, it feels more like an angsty teen throwing a fit, for having other people telling them what to do. Dialogue choices as well. The main & neutral ones feel fine, like how a jedi would respond or ask about stuff, while the “evil“ option is always some cringey snippy little remark or something, which just doesn’t feel evil, when you’ve got dialogue options as the Inquisitor & Warrior where you literally shock someone, or force them to address you properly with respect and to bow for being a lesser being.
My personal opinions... 1. Jedi Knight (The story that feels like the MAIN story of the game) 2. Impereal Agent (My favorite story with a lot of diffrent choices and outcomes, Star Cabbal thing is awesome only thing missing was genoharadan...) 3. Sith Inquisitor (His or her's power progression is cool you kinda feel it unlike others below acept mb for SW) 4. Sith Warrior (It start's kinda slow but interesting not falling of but never peaking till the end at the Dark Council chambers) 5. Bounty Hunter (Shoot it in the goddamn face the story... p.s. there are abundance of cool one liners.) 6. Smuggler (A lot of filler between interesting stuff) 7. Trooper (Arc 1 is not bad but after that it's meh...) 8. Jedi Consular (It's kinda what you expect for the normal not chosen one Jedi not sitting on his ass.)
Consular = That feeling you get when you just woke up and look like the dead walking, the worst. Trooper = That feeling when you've had nothing but bread for 2 weeks, you want anything else, anything else. BH = When you order pizza from Little Caesars but they give you the nastiest boxes instead of the freshest. Inquisitor = The power of maaaaaannyyy... Smuggler = Thor Ragnarok, but not the badass mythos just the meme movie. Agent = The Law Abiding Citizen. Knight = I can do this all day. Warrior = The Chad.
I have asked around, and read many posts about this. It seems the Sith Warrior, Imperial Agent, and Jedi Knight stories are the cream of the crop. With most lists placing Smuggler, Trooper and Jedi Consular, the worst 3. Bounty Hunter and Sith Inquisitor usually 4/5. Although, it seems most people either love or hate the BH class story, and some put BH 8th. Good news is, you can play all of them, at your own speed, for free! SWTOR is pretty much a single player mmo. I rarely even talk to another player when I play. I usually only play when none of my friends are online, or if I am trying to chill before bed. I am working on the Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight story now, and so far, I am havin a gas.
Sith Inquisitor > Sith Warrior > Jedi Knight > Trooper > Agent > Counselor > Smuggler > BH This is mostly my list for story and followers. I would put BH higher by 2-3 places just for it's lines, if only the story wasn't so meh.
These guys had to be high when reviewing these campaigns, the imperial spy is the absolute best campaign in this game by a mile and a half it’s not even close. The level of choice and variety. You have the way you can actually play as a double agent and also the way it fits the best into the very very late game and the newer story stuff without any problems due to the foundation of it as well as the way many of the companions come back and how they fit into the story. Not to mention your ship looks amazing. Your class is highly versatile. I put the trooper (and according to the common section so do most people) all the way down at the bottom 4 somewhere. Next, I would say it would probably be the Sith juggernaut then after that, the bounty hunter, then after that the Jedi knight after that, the Sith inquisitors after that the trooper, then the smuggler than the Conselor. Like let’s be honest aside from the Jedi knight, the light side gets majorly shafted in terms of its story quality
Consular's dark side option at the end of chapter 1 is probably the one dark side option i actually chose not to do despite doing a dark side playthrough, i'd say that is testament to the consular having some powerful moments in its writing.
Trooper story of betrayal just hit different for me when it came to writing in this game, most other "betrayals" are quick, simple and just annoying, but the Trooper storyline just went BALLS DEEP with it and it had me by the balls.
You’re out of your fucking mind for putting the trooper above the agent. The fact the the agent isn’t in the top 3 and the trooper is, is a complete travesty
Wild to see trooper so high up the list. In my opinion even consular blows it away. The vast majority of people who've played the trooper story have forgotten it all by the end. Agent is by far the best, not only the most well written but also Jadus is probably still the most intriguing villain in the game even all these years later.
Aight here is my personal list. Also Spoilers. 1. Sith Warrior. What can I say. I agree with everything that was said. Best story by far. 2. Imperial Agent. Great story. Very engaging. Well done. Best ship. However I had a bug that prevented me from moving forward in the story for a long time. 3. Trooper. The trooper has the second best ship. Or the third after the sith classes. Cool companions. Good story. Playing it light side is kinda boring. Your dialogue option boil down to "yes sir" 4. Sith Inquisitor Sith mommy already is putting it on this spot. I liked the story and how it develops. 5. Smuggler I get invited to a game of Pazzak. Never got to play Pazzak. Nuf said? Also, yeah the guy who steals your ship at the start, I want to play that guy. They wrote a great story but put you in the wrong character. 6. Jedi Knight My problem with this class story is that it boils down to "the emperor has made a doomday weapon to destroy this planet, stop him. and then go to the next planet with the next doomsday weapon" The phrase "if everyone is super, no one is" fits here as in "if on every planet the universe is at stake, it becomes boring to save the universe" But the part where you attack the emperor and he just turns you and your bretheren was very cool, I give them props for that. 7. Bounty Hunter This whole great hunt thing was just a giant fanfic. And not a good one. Yes the dialog options and one liners are good, which keeps the BH from last place. But overall I was never engaged with the story. It is just "go there, hunt that guy, come back" Which does fit the Bounty hunter, So I got what I paid for you could say. But just nothing was interesting. And the ship ist just a pile of trash. 8. Jedi trashcompactor I agree with everything. It was just plain boring to play. I always had the feeling of "well anyone else could have done the same stuff". It doesn't feel special or interesting.
My top 3 class stories are the sith warrior, sith inquisitor and the imperial agent. Depending upon my mood any one can be my favourite. I agree that the smuggler story should have been Skavik, the idea of stealing a ship and then going onto have intergalactic adventures sounds fun.
No matter how we rank these class stories....i think we should all agree that they are well written/entertaining stories with well written and entertaining characters.
The smuggler campaign to me worked best in the MMO setting honestly. My first initial reaction was similar in that the limitation in place felt restrictive towards the scoundrel character. But when I really thought about the moment to moment experience, it delivered the best experience. Fun companions, a colorful rogues gallery to face on each plant, witty lines, a twist that genuinely caught me off guard. I have loads of memories of the campaign that makes it stick. Unlike the IA that honestly kinda forgettable. None of the villains were interesting, nor was the companions a joy to be around. The only things i even recall from it was that i called every single plot twist way in advance...outside the last one that was just...without spoilers...you know, you know, about the last villains just out of no where plot twist that added nothing to the story. Just overall IA is kinda a boring forgettable mess that was only carried by it's concept more than presentation. But that's me
1. Jedi knight The main story and has great characters and companions, for the most part. Also really great if you play either light or darkside. 2. Sith warrior So fun. The best stiry to just go full darkside and has a good set of companions, one that you can decide to be lightside or darkside. Plus shocking vette. 3. Sith inquisitor Exploring the darkside is fun. 4. Smuggler It's a fun laugh as long as you don't take it to seriously. 5. Bounty hunter The first and third chapter is some of my favourite story to play, the second part is a big drop though. 6. Agent There's a lot going on, it's great and has some awesome twists and more decisions than other classes. But it's so long and you have to be in the right mindset to sit through the story sometimes. 7. Consular Sometimes interesting and sometimes so boring. 8. Trooper Sooo boring and dull.
@kav0860 yeah, really any class story is good for first playthrough as you can pick any combat style now. I'd say that classic bounty hunter mercenary is good and simple to play, it has good range and a good rotation of abilities. I personally prefer range and pick mercenary or sniper or their mirrors commando and gunslinger but if you like close up combat operative is good for stealth and powertech is fun for punching and flamethrowers. Story wise bounty hunter is fairly simple, hunt targets, either honourably or ruthlessly. It's good fun.
i was suprised to see consular at the bottom since i enjoyed the story alot more than most of the other classes. althought im mostly imperial sided, id rank consular at rank 3 right behind agent and sithwarrior.
All classes were well scripted but people forget that your actions can have heavy and I mean gigantic influence in how your story ends up and this includes not only your story missions but also expansions
i'm relieved that every time i begin to hear the siren's call of SWTOR i am reminded that pureblood sith isnt playable or unlockable without a paid subscription
My personal listing: 1. Imperial Agent: It takes a story that would be great even outside of SW, then makes it fit in the universe. And of the companions, probably Kaliyo is the least interesting - and she's far from boring. And yes, you do get the best ship by far. 2. Sith Warrior: it's so much fun. It's everything you could want from a dark side story & more. I played mine as an absolute monster & wow. 3. Smuggler: Even though you get recruited to the Republic in Act 3, it's still a lot of fun. 4. Jedi Knight: It's the classic SW hero story. Though not the most interesting, it's comfortable & familiar. 5. Republic Trooper: This one is surprisingly fun. I actually took a break from this one, not because of the story, but because of the gameplay. When I finally came back and finished it, I actually enjoyed it, despite it being a soldier story! 6. Sith Inquisitor: While this is one of my favourites gameplay-wise, the story lacks luster. Really the only interesting part is having a huge meat machine follow you about. 7. Bounty Hunter: For being one of the most interesting character archetypes in the franchise, I would've expected more. There's actually little about going after targets, with the core of the story being a simple pissing contest. 8. Jedi Consular: It's just so boring! While I get that the purpose is to explore the lore a bit, it's all just bland. Only Tharan Cedrax makes up for it - he found a way to study the strange and mysterious Out There… in a Star Wars game.
I’d say my top 5 are : Jedi knight , Jedi consular (for a certain companion) , sith inquisitor (Ashara is wife) , bounty hunter (vode an mondo’ade) , sith warrior (I am the emperors wrath)
ok im going to give you both a 100% non bias answer to the question of ' was your choices fair " = As a long time player ( over 20 maxed characters reaching accross every class ) i can honestly call your choices fair to a point - while i wouldnt change any ranked above 5 the lower ones seemed mismatched in the reasons ( some of the upper negetives had far better reasons then the lower ones ) i would only really change sith inquisitor and jedi councelor to be lower because 1 key fact that grates on the play ( you are basicaly a yoda or palpatine type - both are accomplished lightsaber fighters in the lore and expanded universe - lucas himself said that they are far more gifted in the force but are good enough to hold their own in a saber fight . yet you dont get to use your lightsaber dispite having one and it being a main focus ad aqusition the whole story ) they religated the lighsaber to a wand.
I'm on my second playthrough as a Female LS Sith Warrior and it's my absolute fav. I know loads of people prefer the Inquisitor over the Warrior, but I like the companions better, and the story with Baras is just so good. Plus, I think LS SW makes the most sense in the Zakuul storylines
Lol, I love that the lowest rated storyline is the first one I happened to pick (for both Jedi and Sith), I guess that means things will only get better from here. Still enjoying both regardless
My Worst to Best: 8: Agent (Boring Story with dislikeable companions); 7: Jedi Consular (same as agent); 6: Smuggler (would've preferred stealing the ship rather than going after the thief); 5: Trooper (Would've preferred to be given the option to go AWOL with my team in the beginning); 4: Sith Inquisitor (Khem Val is the only decent companion and that's only after he has to share his body); 3: Bounty Hunter (Enjoyable Story, but the only companion I like is Mako); 2/1: Jedi Knight/Sith Warrior (Don't really have any complaints about either story; Both class companions are excellent; and the stories even intertwine)
The audacity to put trooper in the top 3 hurts me deeply. Ive played this game for years and years and still havent finished every story but the trooper was easily the most painful to me. Imo this is the true ranking (but obviously thats just me) 1. Jedi knight. Really gives a kotor 3 vibe, very interesting if ur into that lore but also just a really cool fun storyline on its own. 2. Imperial agent. Genuinely a masterpiece, the way you can play as an actual evil agent, or just a cog in the machine of the empire genuinely believing you're doing good. Probably also one of the only classes where choices actually matter and have an impact that really makes you think. 3. Jedi consular. Anyone who complains its boring does not give a shit about the keepers of the peace part of jedi. Personally I love it and now wanna replay. 4. Inquisitior. From a slave to a master of the sith council. I still haven't finished bc I hate being a bad guy but it's just so good man. Really let's you go wild too with dark side shit 5. Smuggler. Such a fun storyline. It's very star wars yes, and the storyline isn't outstanding but it's just FUN and the dialogue options are so FUN and one of the few that feel realistic to how I'd react in these situations. 6. Sith warrior, honestly just an interesting storyline but I haven't completed it so I can say a lot but really interesting to try and play light sided. 7. Bounty hunter. Never got very far on it but I love the found family trope and you get that with this crew still lots of fun I just need to play it more. 8. Trooper. BORING AS FUCK. IT STARTS OUT SO PROMISING GOING AFTER UR OLD TRAITOR SQUAD BUT THEN UR LITERALLY JUST A SOLDIER GOING ON WAR MISSIONS AND THERES BARELY ANY MEAT TO THE STORY ITS JUST. I GO HERE I DO MY JOB. THEN I GO HERE AND DO MY JOB. SO DISAPPOINTING
Well it’s certainly a list…. but imo it should go something like this: Worst to best: smuggler Trooper Jedi Consular Hunter Top 4 Knight Warrior Agent or Inquisitor (depending on if your evil mastermind preference : palpatine or thrawn)
I disagree on this list, i think Inquisitor has the best story especially if you go full on dark side, followed by Imp Agent and then Jedi Sentinel for the third. Bounty Hunter would probably be after that for me and then Sith Warrior. The rest are pretty meh. Strange choices for me considering Jedi Sage is my main but there you have it
I totally agree that the Sith Inquisitor Story is the best among all the Star Wars stories. It doesn't really matter if you choose to play as Nox (although I'm not a fan of some of Nox's dark side lines, like "murder and mayhem awaits," which seem really silly), Imperious, or Occlus. I think Occlus is the most realistic choice for the Inquisitor, and you can use the best lines from the story because it doesn't matter if the option is light or dark.
@@truthmediatv1212 Lines like "murder and mayhem await" implies she is insane , she is Darth Nox , being dark side fits her best cus of her personality. She is like a crazed beast.

Sith Warrior as the best storyline in swtor????😂😂😂😂😂😂 great joke - wait what you were actually serious about that? *here the real ranking - worst to best*
*8. Jedi Consualer* : Boring story, forgettable companions, annoying voices and just forgettable. Played 3-4 times still can't remember what happens or just don't care.
*7. Smuggler* : Good oneliners a few good compainons, but overall forgettable story, and the voice acting is just meh
Love it
*1 Imp Agent* : What can i say, best story in a Star Wars game since KOTOR.
And uses to actually heal, by a pretty noticeable amount, from killing enemies, as if he was eating them.
i didnt liked khem val
@@Lyxh khem will eat you
Love when he calls me "little sith" 😂
I completely agree
@@bindair_dundat the Warrior is the one that’s literally given everything
The amount of branching choices that was around dealing with Darth Jaddus made the Imperial Agent my number 1 story
I just hated Kaliyo. It really required a lot of self discipline to wait until Alderaan to get a better companion.
Im sorry WHAT- you put the Trooper above the imperial agent?? Just....no!
Does the Imperial agent get a Walking tank voiced by Tom Kane?
Why? Because Commander Shepard is Fem Trooper. 😅
3ver heard of opinion?
I mean it’s an imperial agent like who ever loaded the game up and went oh I want to be a imperial agent
Cry about it.Then get over it.
There is NO WAY you ranked the Trooper that high. Trooper was the very first class I tried and it was the last class I finished 6 years later, their class story was THAT boring.
I agree. Sith Inquisitor, Imperial Agent and even Jedi Knight should have been higher than trooper in my opinion
Act 1 was decent with hunting traitors but was never carried over to Act 2 and 3, it basically fell off after Act 1. Alot of potential, but nothing came of it.
Trooper and Consular, two of the worst stories hands down.
DS Trooper is somewhat fun but Loyalist trooper is very robotic, as are the companions.
Putting Agent bellow trooper is just wanking. They said councular had a boring voice actor well
So did trooper and the story was even worse. Every person in game agreed that Trooper was the worst one and these nerds said trooper is better than agent. I gotta give this video a big thumbs down. These guys know nothing about the game. It’s like they just made this video to create an argument.
I found Light Side Sith Warrior to be interesting. DS choices were just pure kill kill kill, LS choices were manipulation, schemes etc. much more interesting.
Also the ending is just 👌
Horak Mul saying "Freedom" as he goes into the sky is just too great
I found mixing the two up to stay neutral super fun
If they ever do a LS Sith Warrior Movie and stay consistent to the SWTOR storyline and writing; it would be the best SW content.
LS SW Really is the best for sure
Didn't even mention the light side option for Sith Warrior. THAT is the best class story in the game hands down.
S-Tier: Agent
A-Tier: Warrior, Inquisitor, Knight
B Tier: Bounty Hunter, Smuggler
F Tier: Consular, Trooper
Note that while I enjoy rerolling, I never manage to get far with either Consular or Trooper.
Respectable opinion, but i'd put Warrior on S tier too since the story is amazing and rather meaningful
@@mikel9138 The Warrior's playstyle is what makes it A-Tier at best for me. It's missing something.
Spot on. Agreed 100%
Blizz is my boy
I think BH story is not the most epic or intricate by far, but the BH has some hilarious dialogues and great companions, you can really have a fun time
One big family shadowed by the glaring Tumor that is Skadge.

For me Jadus>Baras and it is a crime Jadus was not utilized more.
agreed !
Jadus truly was one of the great siths of his era, shame he had to end like that
It's been how many years and Lana is still blueballing us about Jadus' return
I wouldn't be surprised if the threat Malgus is alluding too is Jadus leading the True^2 Sith
I always said that the Jedi Knight story feels the most like KOTOR 3. Saying that it’s my second favourite, first was the Inquisitor!
Inquisitor all the WAY!
Same. Imo Knight also has the most interesting companions on the whole. Not the individually most interesting, but none of them beyond Rusk are forgettable, and a 4/5 is really solid here.
From personal experience playing them all. The level of fun I had with each story were as follows:
1: Smuggler (Going darkside smuggler just is so fun and makes you a pirate king by the end)
2: Sith Warrior (A true classic)
3: Jedi Consular (Oddly enough enjoyed it despite its rather boring premise on paper)
4: Sith Inquisitor (Awesome set up and rise to power)
5: Imperial Agent (Enjoyed it and can see why it gets the hype it does but not my personal favorite)
6: Jedi Knight (By the book paint by numbers. Still had fun for the all the core lore elements)
7: Trooper (Can't remember anything from this besides the opening)
8: Bounty Hunter (Was the last class I played all the way through the story of, it hits all the elements you would want from it but just feels so cliche at the same time that it bored me to death)
I like that with bh you can at least at the end go "nah screw you dark lord, time to throw hands"
Yo the inquisitor is my jam starting out as a literal slave only to become one of the most powerful sith in the empire it doesn't getvany better for me
Exactly the story progression from sith to dark council member is one of the best arcs in the entirety of Star Wars. Definitely number one class story.
Better yet, playing as a sith inquisitor main through the eternal empire storyline. From a meager slave to Emperor
Are you just Lana Beniko's brother in game or what ?🤣
I have not played this in years and only completed the Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter one. You guys make me want to reinstall the game to atleast try out and complete the other class Story line.
Sith Warrior will always be my favorite, love it.
But objectively, Imperial Agent is the most complex and best written one.
Yeah, it is the treat vader fans always wanted.
The first time I played BH I hated the story and my character because I went full dark. When I recently replayed it I went neutral and found some of the best lines in the game. Same goes for smuggler and most others... actually the only story that I've found to best be played as full light/dark is full light consular. (Which I hated when I initially went full dark)
Such a good game and it's relieving to see someone rank the stories without agent and inq being 1 and 2
1. Imperial Agent
2. Sith Warrior
3. Jedi Knight
4. Sith Inquisitor
5. Bounty Hunter
6. Trooper
7. Smuggler
8. Jedi Consular
My #1 favorite is Imperial Agent. It's easily one of the most deep and complex storylines.
Ty for video)
The imperial agent and the sith warrior are personally my favorite class stories in this game and are really awesome and badass in my opinion.
Smuggler story is my favourite.. Its kinda out of the conflict.. No politics, no force, no war.. Just being a freedom guy
1- Sith Warrior
2- Bounty Hunter
3- Jedi Knight
4- Sith Inquisitor
5- Smuggler
6- Rep Trooper
7- Jedi Consular
8- Imp agent
Ah a clown in human clothes.
And when Ziost happens, and it turns out everything he was raised to believe was just a means to an end for the emporer to become more powerful, he's pretty much "screw this, I'm out."
There's more of course, but these two have really grown on me. Not just as a role play, but as fully fleshed out OC's.
I don’t know how I got here, but you reminded me of my first bounty hunter playthrough, so thank you. Great time.
I would return to SWTOR if they would get off their ass and finally do something with Darth Jadus
I don’t get the hype people feel for Imperial Agent. It had some plot twists and turns but story overall was not that impressive. I have 2 big concerns;
1) I wish we could’ve joined Hunter.
The Sith warrior has the unique companion can be light side or dark with completly different personalities
“Number one: the Sith warrior.”
You’re god damn right
My ranking (100% factual; cannot dispute) is as follows:
1: Imperial Agent (Absolute Best)
2: Sith Warrior
3: Smuggler
4: Sith Inquisitor
5: Jedi Knight
6: Bounty Hunter
7: Trooper
8: Jedi Consular (Absolute Worst)
Good rating, fully agree.
That is almost identical to my list although I would put Inquisitor in 2, Warrior in 3 and Smuggler in 4.
This rating is ASS
That was the original idea, but they couldn't make it work
My personal take on this (I played this game since it came out):
1) The best of the best: Imperial Agent.
Also, SPOILER ALERT:
After Onslaught expansion, the sith Inquisitor ends up in the best place comparing with other classes.
Fight me, but I actually think the Sith Warrior is highly overrated. It’s good, but not better than Imperial agent or Jedi Knight.
Great tag team video. I haven't played the game, but all the reasoning sounded pretty solid.
I actually run a guild on the Satele Shan server called Clan Odekk. The Bounty Hunter and Smuggler story are some of my favorite stories!
Just finished the podcast between you too and this, and I can tell you that you 2 work well together and these vids are super entertaining!
1. Jedi Knight (The story that feels like the MAIN story of the game)
2. Impereal Agent (My favorite story with a lot of diffrent choices and outcomes, Star Cabbal thing is awesome only thing missing was genoharadan...)
3. Sith Inquisitor (His or her's power progression is cool you kinda feel it unlike others below acept mb for SW)
4. Sith Warrior (It start's kinda slow but interesting not falling of but never peaking till the end at the Dark Council chambers)
5. Bounty Hunter (Shoot it in the goddamn face the story... p.s. there are abundance of cool one liners.)
6. Smuggler (A lot of filler between interesting stuff)
7. Trooper (Arc 1 is not bad but after that it's meh...)
Warrior = The Chad.
Sith Inquisitor > Sith Warrior > Jedi Knight > Trooper > Agent > Counselor > Smuggler > BH
This is mostly my list for story and followers. I would put BH higher by 2-3 places just for it's lines, if only the story wasn't so meh.
100% loved the imperial agent story. Its my favorite.
Like let’s be honest aside from the Jedi knight, the light side gets majorly shafted in terms of its story quality
when i saw imperial at 4 i know 1 and 2 are BG and Warior
Consular's dark side option at the end of chapter 1 is probably the one dark side option i actually chose not to do despite doing a dark side playthrough, i'd say that is testament to the consular having some powerful moments in its writing.
Disagree with the sith Inquisitor. It's one of the best tbh
Trooper story of betrayal just hit different for me when it came to writing in this game, most other "betrayals" are quick, simple and just annoying, but the Trooper storyline just went BALLS DEEP with it and it had me by the balls.
Pretty fair takes on each story. I like trooper, bounty hunter and sith warrior the most out of all 8 but I like them all.
You’re out of your fucking mind for putting the trooper above the agent. The fact the the agent isn’t in the top 3 and the trooper is, is a complete travesty
Sith warrior has definitely the best story
Your dialogue option boil down to "yes sir"
4. Sith Inquisitor
Sith mommy already is putting it on this spot. I liked the story and how it develops.
5. Smuggler
I get invited to a game of Pazzak. Never got to play Pazzak. Nuf said?
Also, yeah the guy who steals your ship at the start, I want to play that guy. They wrote a great story but put you in the wrong character.
6. Jedi Knight
My problem with this class story is that it boils down to "the emperor has made a doomday weapon to destroy this planet, stop him. and then go to the next planet with the next doomsday weapon"
The phrase "if everyone is super, no one is" fits here as in "if on every planet the universe is at stake, it becomes boring to save the universe"
But the part where you attack the emperor and he just turns you and your bretheren was very cool, I give them props for that.
7. Bounty Hunter
This whole great hunt thing was just a giant fanfic.
8. Jedi trashcompactor
I agree with everything. It was just plain boring to play. I always had the feeling of "well anyone else could have done the same stuff". It doesn't feel special or interesting.
Imperial agent at 4 was a clear indicator that “.you don’t know what you are doing..”, said the chant from the crowd.
I'd say
8. Consular
7. Knight
6. Inquisitor
5. Smuggler
4. Warrior
3. Trooper
2. Agent
1. Bounty Hunter
but you made some great points!
But that's me
Sith inquisitor easy 1st
My personal favourite is the inquisitor and agent, for the worst I would pick soldier...by faaaaaar
1. Jedi knight
The main story and has great characters and companions, for the most part. Also really great if you play either light or darkside.
2. Sith warrior
So fun. The best stiry to just go full darkside and has a good set of companions, one that you can decide to be lightside or darkside. Plus shocking vette.
3. Sith inquisitor
Exploring the darkside is fun.
4. Smuggler
It's a fun laugh as long as you don't take it to seriously.
5. Bounty hunter
The first and third chapter is some of my favourite story to play, the second part is a big drop though.
6. Agent
There's a lot going on, it's great and has some awesome twists and more decisions than other classes. But it's so long and you have to be in the right mindset to sit through the story sometimes.
7. Consular
Sometimes interesting and sometimes so boring.
8. Trooper
Sooo boring and dull.
is the bounty hunter good for first playtrough
@kav0860 yeah, really any class story is good for first playthrough as you can pick any combat style now. I'd say that classic bounty hunter mercenary is good and simple to play, it has good range and a good rotation of abilities. I personally prefer range and pick mercenary or sniper or their mirrors commando and gunslinger but if you like close up combat operative is good for stealth and powertech is fun for punching and flamethrowers.
Story wise bounty hunter is fairly simple, hunt targets, either honourably or ruthlessly. It's good fun.
@@charlestownsend9280 Damn 5 hours in i've picked the dual pistols one and ... this game is amazing its 6 am in my place and im sleepy af
i was suprised to see consular at the bottom since i enjoyed the story alot more than most of the other classes. althought im mostly imperial sided, id rank consular at rank 3 right behind agent and sithwarrior.
No way inquisitor is this low and trooper is thos high…
All classes were well scripted but people forget that your actions can have heavy and I mean gigantic influence in how your story ends up and this includes not only your story missions but also expansions
i'm relieved that every time i begin to hear the siren's call of SWTOR i am reminded that pureblood sith isnt playable or unlockable without a paid subscription
You put the Trooper...above the Agent.
Not me wanting to play an MMO at midnight when I have work at 6am
Trooper feel alive lol, 75% dialogue like 3 choises and all of them yes sir😂
I like how the Sith inquisitor is about building a power base and taking power while sitting warrior is just kill anything that moves 😂
Counselor
My personal listing:
Jedi Consular DS choices are like Qui-gon Jinn breaking rules and disobeying the council
I literally wanted a video like this the other day, nixxiom, one of us is psychic
I’d say my top 5 are : Jedi knight , Jedi consular (for a certain companion) , sith inquisitor (Ashara is wife) , bounty hunter (vode an mondo’ade) , sith warrior (I am the emperors wrath)
ok im going to give you both a 100% non bias answer to the question of ' was your choices fair "
= As a long time player ( over 20 maxed characters reaching accross every class ) i can honestly call your choices fair to a point - while i wouldnt change any ranked above 5 the lower ones seemed mismatched in the reasons ( some of the upper negetives had far better reasons then the lower ones ) i would only really change sith inquisitor and jedi councelor to be lower because 1 key fact that grates on the play ( you are basicaly a yoda or palpatine type - both are accomplished lightsaber fighters in the lore and expanded universe - lucas himself said that they are far more gifted in the force but are good enough to hold their own in a saber fight . yet you dont get to use your lightsaber dispite having one and it being a main focus ad aqusition the whole story ) they religated the lighsaber to a wand.
Bounty Hunter and Sith Warrior are my two favorite class stories, they both have great opportunities for totally evil, or honorable playthroughs.
Inquisitor and warrior, are the best 2 in my opinion
Lol, I love that the lowest rated storyline is the first one I happened to pick (for both Jedi and Sith), I guess that means things will only get better from here. Still enjoying both regardless
My Worst to Best:
8: Agent (Boring Story with dislikeable companions);
7: Jedi Consular (same as agent);
6: Smuggler (would've preferred stealing the ship rather than going after the thief);
5: Trooper (Would've preferred to be given the option to go AWOL with my team in the beginning);
4: Sith Inquisitor (Khem Val is the only decent companion and that's only after he has to share his body);
3: Bounty Hunter (Enjoyable Story, but the only companion I like is Mako);
2/1: Jedi Knight/Sith Warrior (Don't really have any complaints about either story; Both class companions are excellent; and the stories even intertwine)
The audacity to put trooper in the top 3 hurts me deeply. Ive played this game for years and years and still havent finished every story but the trooper was easily the most painful to me. Imo this is the true ranking (but obviously thats just me)
Really let's you go wild too with dark side shit
To be fair to the consular voice acting, it's very true to the jedi code as 3/5 lines of it are about no emotion and inner piece.
"A guy who has done literally everything in this game, because I have no life" that is way too relatable.
Well it’s certainly a list…. but imo it should go something like this:
Worst to best:
smuggler
Trooper
Jedi Consular
Hunter
Top 4
Knight
Warrior
Agent or Inquisitor (depending on if your evil mastermind preference : palpatine or thrawn)
@@fenroel6148 not when it's the same line for a significant number of DS choices
@@truthmediatv1212 She says those only few times ? Every ds char has a signiture line like that . Its just nox have more mental illness showing lines.
