Samsung G5 34inch Ultrawide Review!

- The Samsung G5 32inch monitor videos I've done on the channel so when they announced the 34inch ultrawide I knew I needed to try this one out. As a more affordable version of the Odyssey series the G5 has a lower grade panel than the G7 or G9 but comes in at a much better price point. Samsung has ditched the extras with those panels also like RGB lighting and extra usb ports while still keeping the similar style of the mold. This ultra wide has a lot going for it outside of the big draw which is the 1000R curve but it also has some setbacks that you may want to know about before purchasing. Hopefully this video helps inform you about your purchase and if there's anything I didn't answer in the video feel free to ask me in the comment section. This video really helped I just had concerns about the stand when you said about it but I got it VESA mounted. Honestly, you did a great job and I really liked it when it arrived thanks for the review!
I was looking at this and the crg 49in Samsung ultrawide and this video confirms I don't need to be that extra lol this seems wide enough to do what I need an ultrawide to do, so this helped 👌🏼
Just bought one, i am very happy with the picture quality and curve... Good video man!
🙏🏼
@@1UpNerdcore For sure need a better stand, the original is very bad 👍
you spoke of the brightness cons but my your graphics look amazing!!
I got this some weeks ago, and ohh god. From 75Hz 1080 UW, to This panel... its a step up!
Bought my old one to use it for video editing and it's very color precise...
But after calibrating this monitor even preforms better than my "professional" one :O
Worth it for gaming?
@@kayabayunreu6092 if you are gona play CS or something competitive on like 300 FPS then no get a normal 16:9 with high refresh. But for RPGs and other openworld games this is simply... AWESOME!
How did you calibrate it and can you tell me the settings or give me the video name ?
Thanks for the heads up on the stand quality. MSI is like $1000 in my country for some reason and AOC is $50 more expensive than Samsung $500 price here. With that sweet 1000R, Samsung is a much better choice for me even though I have to spend a bit more for a proper stand.
Finally a good review. I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend very much on a ROG Monitor bc my ROG Computer already cost a lot
Just bought this monitor! Can't wait to see how premiere pro likes it!
Excellent video. Ty bro
I just got mine in the mail but my screen was constantly flickering, was looking forward to using this too lol definitely a step up from my previous setup, I know I’m not the only one that had the issue
I just cancelled my online order of this monitor. I watched a few videos on this thnks
Oh , Wow , Beauty Monitor 😎 😍
I have this monitor I love it the 165hz and 1000r curvature sold me. I know msi has a cheaper monitor but I don't care about rgb and I have a vesa stand. And I have a 4k tv for hdr gaming so this fits me perfectly. Granted it would've been nice to have but I prefer the faster panel and it's va so it's still looks good provided you get the right angle
I have bought one today, great monitor so far and it was only 350e on outlet (used and returned).
Still good?
great review
Great comment
Nice video bro, helped me out to decide... It's been a week viewing a bast variarity of models, reviews and doubts... I've just found this G5 34inch for € 307 (about $ 366) refurbished as "Very Good" condition on Amazon (amazing price thaks to special 30% off on selected refurbished products), so I looked for YT reviews about it and after viewing yours, I simply bought it 😄. Will see real condition, but looks good for that price so far. Thanks! BTW, love your Pixoo on the shelf, I'm currently building my own DIY version from a Rapsberry Pi.
Nice! Let me know what you think 👍🏻
bought it for the same price, hope it will ship. I'm afraid they might have oversold. "very good" condition as well
@@peterakaFU I've just checked an my Amazon account tells that it will be delivered tomorrow! Looks nice. BTW, I've realised that there is a newer 4K version of this monitor, just in case... maybe that's the reason of that amazing price for the 2K? Will test it, but I think it's enough resolution... unless you can compare both side by side... :)
@@sergio_san No 4K doesn't exist on ultrawide, ultrawide is 2K only, not sure when they changed on the new version but certainly not the resolution. Mine is delivering tomorrow as well
@@peterakaFU oh, ok, thanks for the clarification, I've read UWQHD and my mind thought 💭 UHDWide... Hmmm hahaha. My bad, thanks
I purchased this monitor to be mounted on a dedicated racing simulator. For this purpose, the G5 with the 1000R curve is nothing short of awesome for a single screen. The HDR10 mystery with the shortcomings have zero effect in a racing sim for the simple fact of the ever-changing lighting and shadows while racing. Most simulators are in a low light environment to enhance the experience and reduce glare from ambient sources. Shortcomings for one purpose is a benefit to a lot of us in contrast. Great review bro' ✌😎 I should also add, I paid CAD $450 for mine as opposed to the MSRP of CAD $599.
Bro this comment just saved my life. Building my pc for sim racing rn and couldn’t decide on a monitor. Sounds like I’ll go with this
May I ask why you wouldn't go for a OLED G8? I'm looking around for a new screen and would really appreciate other people's opinions!
The g8 isn’t a budget monitor like the g5 not a lot of people wanna down 1000 on a monitor when u can 250 300 and get some accessories with the rest of the money
@@georgebeanie357 no he payed 450 for it, and at discounts you can get the g8 for 750-800. Ofcourse it’s still more expensive, but I was curious if there were more reasons than the g5 being budget. Which I disagree, there’s cheaper ones that are just as good, so that’s why I wondered why he’d gone for a g5.
What are some good monitors I’m looking for a good one but don’t wanna break the bank
thx mate , good video. for me I believe would be fine. the price fits me and I will most use it for work :-)
how is the monitor doing so far ?
Got a second handed one for $200 so definitely worth it
Mind sharing your wallpapers? They are so awesome!
I have a curved monitor light is specially designed and produced by us for curved screens. We are confident that it will be quite a unique product, and this new design concept will become a new trend, so before launching it, we hope to get the support of strong promoters.
I was sooo close on getting the Xiaomi for 400$ but then the Samsung in my country had this on sale for 380$, I got the monitor first and watched the review later lol
Hey, about the 10bit range in the Nvidia Control Panel. If you lower the refresh rate from 165hz to 120hz (which also improves blackwashing) you can just select the 10bit range in the Resolutions tab! Otherwise great video and so far I'm very pleased with the G5!
when I set it but it just reset to 8bit?
Hey @eVoLuTioN can you tell me one thing.. does 60FPS video stutters on 165hz setting on this monitor?
@@starrims Never noticed any stutters on videos in general, can't really differenciate between 165hz and 120 though so I mainly use 120hz. (Which is amazing btw, after about a year I'm still impressed with the monitor)

Had mine 3 weeks so far
Made me feel queasy initially but used to it now and will probably keep it
hows the quality. worth it?
Wasnt sure. Bit too curvy for me. But used to it now. I only play Elite Dangerous though so for that ye its good enough
I got mine today but wouldn’t turn on, is there any power switch that I dont know about?
No
But press the button underneath and select source. It doesnt automatically change between hdmi and dp
what's the game starting at 7:57? Also thanks for your work on reviews! I'm looking for a new monitor now and you've helped a lot to narrow the field
Samsung needs a 34 or 38” with the specs of the g9. The G5 looks beautiful.
That’s gonna be to big for panel view no?
Love your video's, bought the monitor after your review.
Off topic question, what kind of wall panels are those behind you setup?
Keep up the good work!

Looks like this is going right back to Best Buy once UPS drops it off. Thanks for saving me time and effort.
I had mine for 4 hours before deciding to send it back. Black smearing on this monitor is horrific.
@@TheUltrawideGuy I agree, I opened mine up just out of sheer curiosity and it's just not a very good monitor.
@@drdaddy777 Yeah, I'll be honest I think this review is being kind. I found it very poor. I already own the Alienware AW3418DW IPS and bought this to compare after upgrading to a RX 6800 because I was hoping to switch for freesync support. I realise there is difference in the Alienware being a high end and this one being mid range but the Dell is 3 years old at this point. The difference is massive. My Alienware is far, far superior to the point where the screen tearing is preferable to the ghosting and black smearing I had on my Samsung unit. UFO test had about a 3/4 inch trail behind it, it was that bad. I'm just gonna save some more money while I wait for the new LG 34GP950G. This maybe OK for someone already using a VA monitor but if your moving from a TN or IPS then just don't. The better contrast can't save the poor motion handling.
Loving your tabletop, where did you get it?
Thank you for the review! So this is the one I should be getting to replace the 2x24" monitor setup, right? Can you wallmount this?
Yea this would be the better option and you can vesa mount it 👍🏻
Pensaba que era ips, gracias
Hmmm thanks for the review !
Have you noticed inverse ghosting trails (overshoot) during dark transitions ?
Because I have just gotten myself a ASUS TUF GAMING VG34VQL1B and its overdrive is pretty terrible and I'm really considering returning it for the Samsung G5 34", despite the asus' superb image quality, very high contrast, USB3 hub, better stand and in my opinion a more reasonable curve.
There is ghosting. It is one of those things where you notice it and you can’t unsee it. I have not found a way around the issue.
Hey, what VESA mount are you using @5:42? Great review, keep them coming!
It’s the autonomous single arm 👍🏻
Thanks for the awesome review!
Could you link the stand you got for it?
ua-cam.com/video/jFm8Z5NDbSI/v-deo.html
Have you thought about reviewing the Acer Nitro XV340CK?
I was considering this g5 ultrawide, but after your video I have decided against it. Color depth and proper HDR10 is important to me and my line of work. Have you perhaps covered the Samsung S65UA Curved Ultrawide Monitor? (LS34A650UBAXXA)?
Picked up the monitor a couple weeks back myself. Had the xiaomi mi 34 before this. This is a definite upgrade over that with a 150 dollar difference. I honestly don't know how the odyssey ultrawide is priced at 500 dollars here (462 dollars once amazon in my country gets it in stock), but in comparison to msi and aoc here, this is cheaper. Running with a vesa wall mount myself, since all ultrawide stands takes up too much desk estate for me 😄
what is the main difference compared with 34 xiaomi?
@@hendyhermawan3889 the curve and I find the colours more vibrant in comparison.
Slava Ukraine! Скажите пожалуйста а каким VESA пользуетесь? Спасибо!
@@venplay1283 using north bayou wall mount
So you are saying you would go rather with the Samsung then the Xiaomi?
You briefly mentioned ghosting in the video, but did it ever bother you in any games? If so, how sensitive would you say you are to ghosting/smearing?
I went with the ASUS VG32VQ1B, and so far, it's been fantastic! 32", 165Hz refresh, 2560 x 1440 rez, and I must say, for a VA panel, the colors are vibrant, and the whites are, well, WHITE, with deep rich blacks. I haven't noticed any backlight bleed anywhere on the panel, but I'm also not actively looking for it. From what I can see so far, this panel is very nice for the price, and with the curve, it looks premium without the high cost!
Have you experienced reverse ghosting with your VG32VQ1B ? Because on my 34" ASUS TUF GAMING VG34VQL1B it's pretty terrible... I have to set the OD to 20 to reduce the overshoot and it is still present with dark transition.
@@SagittariusAx how are u enjoying the VG34VQL1B after more extensive use? I’m currently looking at that as it seems to be the best value uwqhd available right now.
@@cassysamel3914 Hmm I love it despite its flaws. I have just received an other monitor for my GF, it is the MSI 301MAGRF a 30" 1080 UW monitor which is IPS and 200Hz and GSync certified. I could compare both. In spite of being blown away by the response time of the MSI and superb motion clarity, the ASUS clearly has my preference even for competitive gaming.
Anyway, I really don't regret my purchase although I had hesitated at first to send it back and I feel like I will keep it for a long time, I'll replace it with 34/37.5" a Ultrawide miniLED or OLED, so not before a couple of years.
To sum up :
+ Awesome colours, high contrast and high brightness make it feel a bit oled like and it is much more viable for HDR gaming than many other 34" monitors. It can really feel bright and it often makes a difference, some games look WAY better in HDR such as Hellsblade. Even windows 10/11 Auto HDR is cool to play with on this monitor.
+ great motion clarity despite some dark smearing.
+ Freesync is often good
+ 120 Hz and OD set to 20 make 99% of the inverse ghosting disappear, which is perfect for some solo games.
+ 165Hz is awesome most of the time.
+ The curve is well balanced, not too pronounced, I really dislike the 1000R of the odyssey for instance.
+ great menu
+ default calibration seems decent.
+ can display 10 bit up to 144hz but to be honest it makes 0 difference in games, they're all using 8bit textures, in photoshop I can see the difference though.
+ The fact that it is 165Hz, makes it visibly more smooth even with freesync of and low framerate compared to my previous 34" 100Hz monitor. FreeSync/GSync isn't that crucial when you have such a high refresh rate monitor, so turning off freesync when it doesn't play too well isn't a big deal.
+ VA gamma shift isn't very noticeable, and less bother than the IPS glow
+ It looks nice, bezel are thing, no external charger and has a neutral look.
+ 4 USB 3 hub / easy menu
- Freesync doesn't always play well, in some games at lower framerate, there can be some brightness flickering. And sometimes there can be some strong inverse ghosting on some frame (that's rare but it's very visible)
- Sometimes, the coloured inverse is visible but it's on rare enough occasion that it's not a big deal.
- BFI mode is not very useful.
- HDR makes inverse ghosting more pronounced for some reason.
- the curve fools trick your brain, once you get used to it, flat ultrawide look concave :(
- speakers are pretty mediocre
@@SagittariusAx Hey, just one question, are you using the HDMI port or the Display port on your monitor?
@@armanyedicam4908 Display Port

Can you rank the curved monitors you have tried?
Are you having the issue where your display settings act like only 1 monitor is plugged in when you turn the screen off? And when you turn it back on, does it change the position of the screen compared to your other screen? For example g5 on the left becoming your right monitor?
No I didn’t have that issue. I wasn’t running a dual monitor setup though

Kinda unrelated to the monitor, but what do you have on the wall behind the monitor? It looks really nice!
Pixoo, I did a video on it on the channel :)
Hey mate, I checked a while ago the review of the g5 and I got the 27" one, the 10 bit only works if you force the color space to 4:2:2, default win AMD and nvidia is full RGB range, the 10 bit is also 8 + frc. Might be cause the frc? Cause I tried with DP and HDMI but nothing
So should you switch to 10bit? I'm confused what that actually does
I love my aoc G2x34 in the only downfall is you can't get 1440 by 120 hertz on the Xbox One X 1080p at 120 hertz I wish they would do a firmware update AOC 8 million to 1 contrast ratio
I bought this monitor over a week ago and I have also been battling myself over it. I really like it but there are better products out there for the price. I bought this one for the 165hz because I thought it was better but the odds are that I will never hit 165fps on 2k with my rtx 2060. I may return it and shoot for a 3440x1440p 144hz ultra wide
Just get a 144hz 34-inch monitor from elsewhere like the iiyama for £100 less. Metal stand, hight adjust, 400 nits etc.

Hi, I know this video is a little older but question on the three mentioned monitors: If you had the canche to get the G5 for about 485$, would you definitely pick it over the AOC and MSI one? I do not necessarily need the additional ports on the monitor - so it's more a matter of colours etc.
If colors matter then I’d go with the MSI
@@1UpNerdcore Yeah I've got the same conundrum. The g5 and the MSI are the same price in my country right now. And while I'd like to be a full time gamer and would love that sweet immersion (🥲) I got to work as well. I'm just wondering whether the 1000R curve is going to be worse for work than the 1500R (for coding and text based work). But the better colours would be really nice. I'm not sure what I want to know, but if you had to consider my condition which would you choose? Would really appreciate your two cents worth.
I've just ordered this monitor but was desk mount (whatever they're called lol) will fit the g5 35 ultra wide so I can buy it. obviously everyone's said the stand is awful, makes the monitor wobble etc.
Would you go for this over a Huawei Mateview GT 34 soundbar if price was no issue?
I know I'm a bit late to this video, but I've just bought this monitor and I loved your review of the features! I just have a question for you if that's okay, when I activate the 165hz refresh mode on the monitor all of the colours and blacks become quite washed out, is that normal? The colours are all fine on the other refresh rates. I'm new to PC gaming lol.
Check the other settings and see if the overdrive is turned on causing it or the panel settings have changed when switching over
Switch it down from 165Hz to 120Hz in nVidia Control Panel and also change this in Windows display settings. You'll see the option to change from 8bit to 10bit colour depth which is a big difference. Here you can also adjust your picture brightness and contrast settings so suit. I find fantastic performance with deep blacks, bright white and rich colours in my dark environment.
Thx for the vid, but i went for the gigabyte g34wqc looks better and way cheaper !

@@1UpNerdcore You've review the MSI Optix MAG342CQR? The 144hz ultrawide that got released about 1.5 months ago? Can't find that video but would be very interested in it. Thanks for your input.
I’ve reviewed the 100hz version which is identical outside of the 144hz. I’ll be getting that version in hopefully next week though for my comparison to my 800 dollar msi 144hz ultrawide
Hey great video! I have been looking to upgrade to an ultrawide for some time, but I ultimately feel like my decision is between the g5 ultrawide and gigabyte g34wqc. Which do you think you would recommend?
gigabyte has alot of backlightbleed, it is slower than this panel, i test the g5 32'' and the 34'' g5 and let me tell you, this panel from samsung is really fast, colors are ok, not the best but ok. Alo of people giving bad reviews of the gigabyte because of the lightbleed, its not a bad monitor but its slower. I have the samsung and its perfect, no backlightbleed at all incredible for the price.
@@Remmaster not every monitor comes with back light bleed. You can't really know what it'll look like before buying it.
In my opinion, this samsung isn't worth. It's overpriced, because it has Odysee but it's nothing like Odysee G7 or G9.
1. Contrary to what is said in this video, it is not a wide gamut monitor at all. The only available specs that tell anything about colors is NTSC 72%, which is equal to 99% sRGB. Also CNET Korea measured it to 97% sRGB ua-cam.com/video/aTI5VAOn6Lo/v-deo.html that is pretty disappointing and average, only 73% of the DCI-P3, not 95%.
2. Some people reported ugly inverse ghosting : ua-cam.com/video/47-wdSN2-7o/v-deo.html
The gigabyte has better colors, better contrast, better brightness (so better HDR experience), better stand. But you'll lose 21Hz.
There is also the Cooler Master GM34-CW which can be considered : www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/coolermaster_gm34-cw.htm it's has even wider gamut but just slightly.
There's also the ASUS TUF GAMING VG34VQL1B which I happen to own and has a similar price.
3440x1440 - 1500R - 165Hz + 1ms + FreeSync Premium - ELMB (but not at the same time as FreeSync) - 4000:1 contrast and brightness up to 550cd/m² + HDR10 and HDR400 support + RGB 10bit support up to 144Hz - 4xUSB3 - ergonomic stand
But warning, contrary to Gigabyte & Cooler master's panel, this one suffers from inverse ghosting in the dark transitions... while the two others have inverse ghosting too but in the bright transistions which is less noticeable. So the Asus can be annoying at times and require to lower the overdrive to 20 on some game. You can check my channel I posted an example of the Asus's inverse ghosting. Though it's only on some specific dark transitions I can play Apex Legend for instance and never notice any inverse ghosting even with higher OD settings.
And for me GSync works flawlessly without any screen flickering even at lower framerate.
In the end I think the Gigabyte and the Cooler Master are the best ultrawide monitors in the price range.
But if the ASUS fixes dark transitions overshoot, definitely the VG34VQL1B would be the best.
@@SagittariusAx First thing first , do you happen to own any G odyssey model? I have the G7 32" model and the G5 34" model. I bought the G7 first , and I was really impress by the image quality and colors. I did spend some time to set the colors and HDR to be what I preferred. Backlight bleed is barely noticeable, 10bits colors is really nice and the monitor is really bright from what I had before. You talking about inverse ghosting with the G5 , but actually, mine doesn't have any , if I compare it to the G7, impression is the same. I did bought the two monitors on sale. For me it's a really good price in my view. Yeah it not cheap as gigabyte 34" monitor but it's a better monitor because it has no backlight bleed where the gigabyte is horrible at this point, it's fastest, and if you watch hardware unboxed video they said that the gigabyte is not a real 144hz monitor. So to Compare it to the G7, yes the G7 is faster, I play warzone and I try both. I see a little difference but barely noticeable in my mind. Like I said I had the G7 before and REALLY like it. But after playing with the G5 34" , I figure I preferred gaming on this monitor. The panel is unbelievably black compare to the G7 , no backlight bleed at all, it's super fast compared to the standard G5 32" display, that I also try. Color has to be set in Nvidia control panels, and when this monitor is correctly set, is it as beautiful as the G7. So your comments is not based on true gaming experience like mine. I was a little bit bump out when I realized that is was not a 10bits panel , but like I said once in calibrated, it's perfect! Its less expensive then the new 165 MSI 34" and it has the same Panel. Hdr could be better and once calibrated its still really good, I try immortal Fenix rising and work great. The only monitor that , I think might be better is the new Asus tuf , but it's not available every where right now, and it's more expensive! So after a month of used , I really recommend this monitor!
@@Remmaster You see I said, in my opinion, so it's just an opinion. You have a different opinion, that's fine, but there is no need to act like I can't give my opinion because I don't own the monitor. Do you happen to own a Gigabyte G34WQC ? My opinion was based on some early feedback and specifications so it's not final especially when we didn't have ANY review out there.
Also I've linked one of the rare user's video where someone shows bad inverse ghosting on the samsung. I don't think overdrive is just as random as back light bleed.
Rtings' review is finally out today. overall it's a great gaming monitor, it's better than I was suspecting. But its responses time at 165hz are a little worse than the gigabyte at 144.
Though like I said, it has less saturated colors, because it doesn't have a wide gamut coverage unlike the gigabyte but out of the box it's much better calibrated for sRGB space.
Also something that couldn't be expected is the amazing contrast ratio 4500:1.
All in all, I'd say the samsung is a better choice indeed than the gigabyte. Both are strong ultrawide options.
The price is about the same or a little more expensive compared to other Ultrawides in that price range in Germany and you can get a 400 nits 34 ultrawide from Iiyama that is 1440p and 144hz for about 40 euro less.
but its not curved right?
@@hhjobbo There is a curved and none curved version, the one I'm referring to is curved.
gsync works? damn!
what game were you playing here?? amazing graphics!!
where did you get that beautiful mountain view wallpaper
Just a google search, I don’t know the specific site
Looks amazing bro
As far as for the new consoles, does it support it now and how is the HDR settings?
Hi. Thanks for the video. I play 98% of the time on my PS5 and Switch. This monitor really isn't good for consoles ?
No because consoles don’t support native 21:9 aspect ratio
Anyone can help? I noticed in min 2:00 that the arm doesnt "fit" in the weird circular shape of the monitor. How did you adjust the arm no fit in the mount?
Hey, mine doesnt turn on automaticly when i start my pc, any idea how to fix it? kinda annoying to click the power button every time on the monitor itself
Hello and thanks for the video. Could you please share the model of the arm you use to hold the monitor?
www.autonomous.ai/office-accessories/monitor-arm
Thanks mate!!!
Do you have to turn off the monitor on the power button? Or is it enough to turn off the computer and not touch the monitor? The power button is pretty soft on this monitor
My name is soel i have a question. What was the last game you were playing, a fast moving shooting amazing game. Please let me know thanks man.
Btw, i want to but the monitor but i dont have money.
hello , I am actually planning to buy the Odyssey G5 but some people say it has too much ghosting issues and also blurry effect or something ( saw it in your comment section ) So are those true ? or is the monitor really worth it ?
I own this monitor. I haven't noticed ghosting.
Well this monitor has less ghosting and most of the time, you won't see it
I have this monitor ,once colors calibrated the monitor is hot and I don't see any ghosting on fast setting preset...
I has a totally different experience to others here. I found the ghosting visible but black smearing was the worse issue, its horrible IMO. I was moving from an IPS display which zero ghosting/smearing so your mileage may vary. I returned mine.
i have the 32 inch g5 and i have absolutely no issues with it at all. people on the internet are so ridiculous lol.
The Odyssey G5 is 430€ in my country, whereas the AOC, MSi and Gigabyte ones with 1500r curvature are at around 450€ :D
I think the MSI AOC or Gogabyte are worth the little bit extra
@@1UpNerdcore you think? I thought the G5 was just a little overpriced but overall better because of the 1000R curve?
What kind of foam are you using on yout wall bro? I want it!
Time to Upgrade My Setup! 3D Wall Panel! ua-cam.com/video/7-acglM_v4Y/v-deo.html
hy first thx for the revieuw i think im going to take the monitor i whanne know what stand are using i have extra budget the monitor kost 500 dollars here so yeah
(sorry for the bad english im from belgium)
It’s the autonomous single monitor arm. I did a video on my channel about it 👍🏻
Do u know if that monitor can run with just a laptop connected to it? Like I'm not planning to play heavy games just for work and some fall guys ane Minecraft would be the max heavy game that I would play with the monitor connected to the laptop
Depends on the ports and gpu of the laptop. My laptop has usb type c so I had to do an adapter to DP and run it that way and it worked. My laptop has a 2070 gpu in it also.
@@1UpNerdcore what is the minimum that this monitor can run with ?
HEY, i am thinking of getting this monitor. How is the Ghosting? Is it bad? I am pretty sensitive to that.
If you’re sensitive to it then you’ll notice it with this monitor for sure
Do you recommend for a beginner? For video Ai creator ?
Could we get a list of the games you were playing??
I'm stuck between this and the Gigabyte ultrawide, it has a much better stand but i believe the same VA panel but it's brighter.
This has one of the lowest brightness compared to others in the same price range. The MSI and TUF are good options also.
@@1UpNerdcore alright good to know ty, ill stick with the gb for now, needs feesync thats why im going gb so far
All of those have freesync. I’ve reviewed the MSI and just did a video on the TUF on the channel.
@@1UpNerdcore awesome ill check it out, im in europe though so prices are different, for us in france the gb is the cheapest and the msi the most i think
