Laura, I love watching your videos and getting so many wonderful ideas for my stitching. Have a great week stitching and creating. Cheeky, it is a pretty color.
Love the cheeky colour . Your black vintage sampler is beautiful . I’m doing the same one and not quite as far as you, but the end is in sight😂. Have a great day
Thanks so much for recording twice! Love the stitching. I’m so glad you showed the idea of only stitching parts of a hawk run hollow. I may actually start one and adjust to the parts I like the best. Enjoy your stitching see ya next week.
My friend Judith and I are going to be starting that Valentine's Day Venus HAED dragon as well! It's beautiful... just like those cheeky and inappropriate red flosses from Roxy! :)
Hi Laura Love all of your Projects. You are making great progress on them. I am the type of stitcher that will take out the wrong stitches and make the correction. I have always been that way. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
I'm afraid if I was stitching "Black Vintage Sampler" by Owl Forest Embroidery, I would have to fill in the submarine with yellow stitches; however, some might consider that cheeky .....
Thank you Laura for doing the video twice! I so look forward to one every Friday. I would move your top line to match the other one above it. Won’t make much difference on the rest. Cheeky is a beautiful red. Your blue dragon is awesome. I picked up Mini Rainbow Dragon when it was a freebie. Will have to start along.
Cheeky. I agree with those who suggested moving the post on the top row. If that’s too much I still think you should take steps to make it straight up and down. I think it will drive you crazy otherwise. Thanks so much for redoing the video. It was very kind and we would not have wanted to miss it. I love all of your nautical and beachy pieces. You do have lots of plans for March but no one will get hurt if you don’t reach those goals so why not have grand plans?! 😊 have a great week.
Thank you for recording again. I love catching your videos each weekend. Love the hawk run hallow idea. I always admire those patterns when I am in the stitching store but always get intimidated by their size. What a great idea to break them up. I can't wait to see your progress on yours and I'm adding it to my never ending mental list of I should do that one day. haha :)
For the summer sign piece, if the mis-allignment would bother you every time you look at the piece, I would move it over. If not, it looks fine to me when you showed it on screen. Thanks for another great video; I always enjoy seeing how many pieces you touch in a week's time. 🪡👠
Cheeky 😊 I’m just finding your flosstube- I’m a scrapbooker as well so will be binge watching your previous videos for inspiration on how you handle your stitches as it relates to that!
Laura you are so fun to watch. I don't often comment but I enjoy seeing all your stitching. I've never used Roxy floss so would love to receive cheeky. I have 2 Luca kits in my stash. When stitching a kit if the original chart is easy for me to follow without enlarging it I just mark the original chart. I am sure I won't be stitching it twice and the kits are not very expensive and easy to find. I would probably line up the post on your tiered summer tray. Instead of trying to adapt the other tiers maybe it would be easier to frog a little of the top tier and love the post over. Good luck!
Oh I’m going to check out the I Spy challenge for sure. Sounds like fun. On the Signs Series Summer? If I were stitching it I would move it over and line the pole up with the top. Just you showing it on camera I could tell that it wasn’t even. That would drive me nuts!! Happy Stitching!!!
I love the Shores of Hawk Run Hollow....am very intimidated by it, though. I like the idea of only doing a part or parts of it...Never thought of that. Thanks for another wonderful 'tube.
Thank you for the shout-out Laura. I am so glad you are on board (pun intended) with our Hawk Run Hollow sal. I cannot wait to see what you do with your Shores blocks. One of these days I hope to have the opportunity meet and stitch with you. Cheeky humor is the best!
I really appreciate how you help us think outside the box. Finishes with scrapbooking, ATC cards and adjusting a pattern to stitch just what you want, as you will be doing with your new Hawk Run Hallow. Thank you. What great names dyers come up with for their products. Love cheeky and inappropriate. They need a special pattern.
I am so sorry that you had to do this twice but so glad to have your video to watch. With the tier tray, your eye keeps going to this so I would change it. I think whichever you do, it is now going to be on your mind until you are done. Cheeky red is a beautiful colour.
So Sorry you had so much trouble with loading the video. But I am so glad you recorded it again!!! I look forward to seeing your videos each week! And I love the "All you need is LOVE" and I am in and immediately went to buy it and download it. Can't wait to see what you pick for fabric color and floss!!! Have a great weekend! TO FIX YOUR TIER TRAY - I would restitch the top red to move it over one - remove vertical row on right side and then just add a row to the roof on the left!! Then you are not have to re do - fudge - etc. the lower tiers. Thats what I would do.
My thought on the tiered tray. Again, my thought. Over thinking it. I think if you move it over by a stitch it will throw off the other tiers. My other thought is if it stresses you out that much, restitch the top, middle section. I am reluctant to post this but I am giving an honest opinion. Everybody stitches different. Some rhings that might bother other stitchers wont bother me and vice versa. Its just an opinion. THANK YOU for recording twice and posting it. You are so patient! Your WIPs are beautiful and the variation between them is awesome. Hope you have an awesome weekend❤
Yes, we are hosting the #fabfourfansal with Julie from Julie in Stitches 16. Most people are stitching Blackbirds but ALL Beatles patterns are welcome. That pattern is very cute! Happy stitching!
Hi Laura, on the Sea Sand Sun design I would take out the top part of the pole and restitched it. We all hate tearing out threads, but in the long run it will be easier than trying to make the rest work. Thank you for another great video! Cheeky. Jacque
Hi Laura, thank you for another great video! I did a lot of stitching while watching you :). I love the seagull. The modeling on him is soooooo pretty! As for the sign - I vote for shifting it. You won’t be able to unsee it (and nor would I now :D ). I would either shift everything one X do the right and than add a row of the shelf on the left, so it would be centered and at the same time you won’t have to replan everything. Or shift just the central pole and leave it be…at the end of each shelf is an arrow so I believe you won’t notice, that it is one stitch off. Also thank you for putting it in my head that there is a leap year SAL. Now I really think about starting something. And in 4 years horizont it can be something bigger so I may finally try my very first HEAD? :D still have some time to think but you really got me interested in here :D also cheeky! Happy stitching and looking forward to your next video :)
Hi Laura! I do love your videos; a rarely comment, but I had to weigh in on the sign series. You'll likely scrapbook it, no one will ever notice, and it adds to the charm. As Pam and Steph say, "Just keep stitchin'!" It'll be lovely.
For the Luca S kit - it's a full coverage that came to you kitted, I don't think there any "wise words" for this one as it's really no different than the full coverages you're already doing. I have had Shores of Hawk Run forever as well, would love to stitch it - but I am finding that this year I want to concentrate more on trying to finish, starting as little as possible. So, I'm keeping my pieces each month to a "focus" piece, my 2 WIPGO projects for the month and a sampler for "sampler Sunday" and decided to try "full coverage Friday" and see how I like that process. I also love the idea of seeing if there are squares I love and don't love and "trimming" it down a bit - great idea to whoever you saw do that.
I would count down to the first object on the second shelf. Do the entire middle of the shelf. Then fill in the pole in the correct space afterwards. That way everything would be correct without a lot of figuring it out. I hope that makes sense. I look forward to seeing your wips every week. Sorry your phone was being a bugger.
There is no window! Plans only for the sake of enjoying planning, then getting to plan again. Is this video 205.5 😅😊 I love NCIS. RIP Ducky New Orleans is my favorite. I need to get the winter blessings and March daffodil charts on my wishlist. March 1st I am starting the Jacob sleeper SAL. Modern Folk Embroidery. I am thinking a moody blue for the fabric on April showers. I was thinking of a cheeky title for my birthday sal for this year but don't think I will do one
Being a northern neighbor, I do so enjoy your videos. I am an Aida stitcher so love how you always include the cloth colors and Aida providers. I did have to pause and download the “All You Need Is Love” and she also has the Hocus Pocus pattern I need next. Will check out her floss tube channel. Thank you for sharing and give us new inspiration 🪡🧵🥰
Hi Laura! First of all, thank you so much for recording the entire video again! Your video begins my weekend and I so look forward to seeing your stitches! For that library, have you thought about dividing into sections based on a goal? For example, if you are planning to finish by December 2025, you break the pattern into sections based on that goal. I know you don't usually work that way, but it might help you get to a finish. Anywho, it is a beautiful piece!
I'm not sure I would worry about the tier tray issue. When you were pointing it out it was definitely noticeable but when you pulled the pattern back it looked fine. Also, since you scrapbook your stitches it won't be like you'll be looking at it on the daily anyway. I love the idea of paring down the Hawk Run Hallow. The thought of framing that whole thing is daunting to me. The cheeky names given to floss colors rival fingernail polish names.
Hi Laura, I m so sad I missed the HAED valentine freebie. 😢I’ve been frogging while watching your video. It’s a rather large cheeky section section to correct a 1 stitch counting error.
"Signs" chart. You highlighted my biggest bet peeve with designers. Unless it is intentionally asymmetrical, I expect the design to be symmetrical. I spent an hour ripping out stitches by a well-known designer today. It had a quote and the letter "a" was in the quote three times. One of the "a's" had a different amount of stitches in the middle of one word. I thought I had made a mistake - but, not, the designer did. It would drive me crazy so I had to rip out and restitch it, including moving other letters to accommodate the change. And, if something is supposed to be centered, then I want it centered - not off a stich.
You may already have made a decision about the center pole Summer Signs Series, I would pick out the top of the pole that you have already stitched and move it over to the left and make it line up to the rest which appears to be centered. Great video!
Trying to watch you tonight with poor close up vision after cataract surgery yesterday. Distance vision is really good. Next week I'll have the other eye done. We'll see if I can see up close or not. But I will listen regardless. Is that cheeky? Lol. I know I'll see them clearly come April. So excited to see clearly again. I hope you feel better. The weather can really bring on the aches and pains. Be well.
Hi Laura, so glad you recorded this again. I think I would line up that stitch correctly. It would bug me if I didn’t. Beautiful finish on the bird and teacup stitch. Love seeing all your stitches on the beautiful fabrics you choose. Beautiful red cheeky floss. And thanks for the card, it was a very nice surprise!
Oh I have a Luca S kit that I bought and started for my birthday, in 2022...I think, I loved stitching it but I haven't pulled it out as I've gone full digital, pattern keeper goblin and am slowly working my way back to paper charts and magazines lol. Your start has me thinking maybe I need to give my kit a bit of love, I'm stitching An Intimate View- it's such a beautiful piece. Loved your video, thanks for the insporation.
I admire your Vintage Sampler from Owl Forest. Your color choice is beautiful. I did that piece in 2022 with 3799 on a blush pink 32 ct linen. I am still attracted to it every time I see it. It was my favorite stitch ever. I would stitch another version if it wasn’t identical. It was that much fun!
On the Summer pattern, I would leave it as is, because in my experience, people don't really notice if something like that is off., plus, I'm too afraid I'll mess something else up by trying to change it. You're good at changing things though. Besides, over time, I don't see or remember where the errors are anyway. I was waiting for your video today and thought maybe it would come up tomorrow (Saturday). It has to be so frustrating to redo the videos. Thanks for the perseverance in doing the video.
Always great projects and progress! Oh, the shores of Hawk Run (swoon)! I do like the modified version. Okay, you talked me into it : ) What's one more, right??? Great video, sorry it was the 2nd go round, but you didn't miss a beat. 👍
Great video. I love all your upcoming projects and can’t wait to see the progress! You mentioned asking for advice on full coverage paper charts and someone may have already suggested this (I didn’t read through all the comments 😅) but I use Goodnotes on my iPad. It’s an app that allows you to highlight and you can scan papers right in from your iPad camera. Even if they’re weird sizes. I put the cottage garden sampling greenhouse pattern (which is too big for my printer) in my app last night. I just took a pic and it saved as an image that I can now highlight the symbols as I stitch - just like I used to do with actual paper. It’s so easy. The best thing is if I have to frog then I can erase the areas I already highlighted and redo! You should try it! Hope that helps! 🙂Cheeky
Hi Laura, I'd move my red line over one stitch to line up and count everything off of it as charted. The top/bottom not matching up would drive me nuts vs the next two tiers being one x over to the right. Or, I'd redo the top and move it left. "Neverenoughdragons" SAL would be my suggestion. Cheeky.
Love your channel!!! Been watching you for ages. I agree with @Nightfeare, I would make the correction on the top tier. I think it would be very easy and quick to move the red top of the tier pole. Good luck.
For your snow day stitch, the pole not being lined up would drive me batty. I can see how liming it up will cause challenges elsewhere in the design. Good luck! Red is my favorite color and it is probably the cheeky one in the crayon box.
For the Summer Project I would keep it as is because you could throw everything off if you try & fix it. That's what I do would anyways. Love your projects. I am doing All Things Spring on 14 count Oatmeal aida in the Just CrossStitch Magazine. I also love the Hummingbird Garden by Carolyn Manning but I don't want to start it just yet because I had to subscribe to the Magazine and I have no idea on what issue they will be sending me. Then I will have to figure out on how much fabric to get & I will be doing it on 20 count aida. Happy Stitching.
Im sorry i havent given you my decision. There are sooo many gorgeous patterns on the website that I am having a hard time choosing which pattern I want. I have narrowed it down to ten and asked my sisters which one and they gave me different answers! Lol. I will make a decision by the end of the day and contact you with my choice! With the tiered tray, you have already stitched it and it is the same as the picture. You didn't notice it on the picture, it didn't look off to you there. I would leave it personally. Sorry you had to film twice, but we appreciate the effort you put in to make the videos every week. Thank you!
Thanks for another great video! I feel like I would end up frogging the very top of the pole and moving it over one to match everything else. Since it is behind the life preserver, I’m not sure you would notice much. I’d rather change that small bit than the entire rest of the other two tiers
Hi Laura! My though on the tray is line it up. I understand that picking out isn't fun, but what if you corrected the top trays vertical instead of trying to futz with the other trays. Since you already have the "items" on the tray, you should be able to work around them a lot easier when you re-stitch plus fixing 1 is so much easier than fixing 2. Thanks so much for your video!
I was wondering if you could post a pic of the ISPY monthly challenge on the community tab so those of us not on Facebook could have a quick way to see it. Cheeky 😆
The cockeyed pole would drive me crazy as well. It's unfortunate you didn't notice it before you stitched the top shelf. It would be an easy fix just to move the top pole the person and the lifesaver ring over one stitch. There is plenty of room to the left to do that. 😕 cheeky
Thanks for re-recording-I look forward to yore video every week. On the TPP piece, it would annoy me too to have to pole off-center for one line. Can you move it at the top rather than the two levels below? It might be cheeky but it looks like the top row would still be balanced.
Great video! Thank you for taking the time to re-film after the mishap. I havent finished this whole video yet... but did you get a dragon box from Be Stitch Me? I also saw that Rose Khan is being retired on Heaven and Earth Designs. Sad that so many artists are getting retired this coming Monday. 😢.
I love all the NCIS shows, it's about the only network show series I still watch. I thought the Ducky/David McCallum tribute was well done. On the Twin Peaks summer pattern I would move the top part of the pole over to the left one stitch, that's the part that doesn't look centered and is less effort than recharting other parts in my opinion.
Wonderful video! Thank you for recording twice! For your summer signs piece, would it mess up everything if you just shifted the whole tier over the 1 stitch over? Instead of shifting the pole shifting each level?
Can you frog one line one the top tier to make it look tapered? Would that help line it up better? That is odd that the designer didn’t notice but either way I think it will look good.
Hi I am interested in the project bag! I love your videos. I am from Illinois. I just resubscribed to your videos, somehow you tube had dropped me. I love your dog stories .Thank you.
I always enjoy spending time with you. You have a lot of WIPS with such a big variety of pieces. Enjoy stitching what you love and stay cheeky.
That's some cheeky red floss all right. Thanks for sharing your stitching. And for persevering through technical difficulties.
Such a cute (and cheeky) pattern you have planned for St. Patrick's Day start. Thanks for re-filming your video!
Loved all the stitching. Those cheeky reds are just lovely!
You are consistently a TERRIFIC flosstuber. Thank you for all you give to the stitching community. Your videos are excellent. 😮😊😊😊😊
Laura, I love watching your videos and getting so many wonderful ideas for my stitching. Have a great week stitching and creating. Cheeky, it is a pretty color.
With the tiered tray you could frog the top piece and move it over one so that everything else will line up. Just a thought.
Yeah that was what I wanted to suggest as well :)
Love the cheeky colour . Your black vintage sampler is beautiful . I’m doing the same one and not quite as far as you, but the end is in sight😂. Have a great day
Was going to suggest the exact same! 😃✌ 🇬🇧
Yes!!!! Agreed! I would frog and change top. 😊
You have some exciting new starts planned. Thank you for another great video, I watch every week. cheeky
Thank you so much for the mention! You are one of my favourite people to watch every week!
That's very nice of you to say - thank you! :)
Love your videos. So much color and so many different design types. You could also be called cheeky. Lol
Thanks so much for recording twice! Love the stitching. I’m so glad you showed the idea of only stitching parts of a hawk run hollow. I may actually start one and adjust to the parts I like the best. Enjoy your stitching see ya next week.
Hi Laura. Love your WIP's, can't wait to see you talk more about floche! With no cheeky - ness lol
My friend Judith and I are going to be starting that Valentine's Day Venus HAED dragon as well! It's beautiful... just like those cheeky and inappropriate red flosses from Roxy! :)
Thanks, Laura, for sharing all your wips. Cheeky
"Call it a day and go cross stitch!". 🤣🤣. I seem to say that to myself wayyyy to often these days 😂. Have a great week Laura!
LOVE the Black Vintage Sampler! Pittsburgh, PA
Hi Laura
Love all of your Projects. You are making great progress on them.

Great video as always, love your upcoming starts! I’m watching you with my cheeky border terrier on my knee…can’t do much stitching lol ❤
Cheeky , Thank you so much for all of your awesome showing of your works.
Stay dry an stitch on Miss Cheeky 😊😉.

Thanks for sharing, Laura. I always enjoy your cheeky videos. I love beach themes too.

You’ve inspired me to work on my current Hawk Run Hollow as my own Leap Year stitch. Roxy floss is beautiful and I’d love to try it…cheeky!
I love watching your video. The nautical teir tray is so nice. Cheeky
As always great flosstude Laura. Cheeky love all your projects

So sorry you’ve had technology issues again. Glad you were able to share an update. Beautiful chickadee finish! Cheeky

I enjoy spending our Friday nights together. Cheeky
Would love to try cheeky they are beautiful ❤️
I love cheeky.
🙂Cheeky
That's great advice - thank you so much for taking the time to help me out.
Hi Laura I would just frog the top part and move that one over to match the rest of the pattern. Looks great though.
Good luck.
All your WIPs are beautiful
For your snow day stitch, the pole not being lined up would drive me batty. I can see how liming it up will cause challenges elsewhere in the design. Good luck! Red is my favorite color and it is probably the cheeky one in the crayon box.
Oh that one stitch off would bug me. In fact it’s bugging me now 😂😂. I think fixing the top might be your best bet
Thank you!
My goal for next year is to try a bunch of kits I've never done before, dimension gold, bothy, riiolis, a stocking, etc. Gonna add luca-s now! cheeky
Love your cheeky videos
I was wondering if you could post a pic of the ISPY monthly challenge on the community tab so those of us not on Facebook could have a quick way to see it.
Cheeky 😆
I just pulled that out from the magazine to kit up tomorrow. Not sure on my colours yet.
While I was enjoying your video my cat got cheeky and raced around the room 😅
For the tired tray, could you just stitch all the way down verticaly that red color and keep the rest of the pattern as is?
Gutted I missed the dragon on haed
❤
Hi I am interested in the project bag! I love your videos. I am from Illinois. I just resubscribed to your videos, somehow you tube had dropped me. I love your dog stories .Thank you.
Glad you are here but I think you’ve confused me with another flosstube. I didn’t talk about a project bag.
Cheeky. 😊
