Stephanie, you are delightful and I love your enthusiasm for stitching and our community. Beautiful stitching and the quilt is stunning. I think it is wonderful that you are sharing the art of cross stitch with your students. Take care, my friend.
I just found your videos and would love to meet you at Stitch New England in October! I was there last year but don’t recall meeting you! Your quilt is stunning! I look forward to seeing it finished! I just love that you are teaching your students to stitch! You are passing on this legacy to the next generation of stitchers! I started my 8 yr, old granddaughter to stitch last summer and she loved it! She stayed with us a couple of days and my heart just did a leap when she said to me that she was going to wake up the next morning and “stitch, stitch, stitch!”
That’s so great to hear in the morning. She is lucky to be learning so early. Think of all the years she gets to stitch. 😊 I look forward to meeting you in the fall, if not sooner.
Your quilt is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your Float like a Butterfly/Sting like a Bee. I have those 2 patterns and no idea you could put them together. Have a great week.
I love the beeswax tip! I made it three months without buying charts, but today I bought 8 small charts, including Robin Pickens’ seasonal bird courier charts.
I am a fan of Robin Pickens’ fabric and cross stitch designs, too! I’ve been eyeing that ornament chart for a while, but had no idea about the matching fabric. Thank you! Love your channel!
Whoa Nelly! Your drum is stunning 🤩 and thank you for the great video. I love the bird patterns in the four seasons. That’s one I’ve not seen before. Have a great back to school week! Allison (met you at Stitch New England this past Friday) 😃
Thank you and thank you for watching. I think I am a drum addict now. Everything I look at, I think about whether I can finish it as a drum. 😆 It was lovely to meet you at Stitch NE. Hope to see you again soon. 😊
Ok, you made my day. I’m going to the Library Stitchers Retreat too! I so hope we get to visit a bit, although you have some pretty heavy stitching you are planning to do😆I’m working on my smalls exchange project tonight. Thanks for your fun videos. I love that you are supporting young stitchers❣️
I enjoyed seeing your cross stitch progress and upcoming projects. I love the quilt you are working on. I just finished the 2023 Mystery quilt from the Fat Quarter Shop using the Nantucket Summer fabric. Just today I was trying to decide whether or not to use the backing fabric I have to make it larger and to get the 108 fabric coming out in March….yah, you helped me decide what to do…I want to be able to put it on my queen size bed as well. Now, with that decided, I can move on to the next quilt😀
I have been stitching for years and I am shocked at how much difficulty I have had on the Christmas Quaker. So glad to gear you had difficulty with the Valentine Quaker.
Did you know that Kimberly Jolly from the Fat Quarter Shop had Robin Pickens on her youtube very recently. She shares her cross stitch and fabrics so you would probably love seeing the show. So nice of you to share your love of cross stitch with the students!!
I enjoyed your video. I have looked at the Robin Pickens Birds and love them. Your sharing them reminded me to look into purchasing them. You enabler. The quilt is beautiful. My best friend is an amazing quilter who has a long arm and quilts for other people who can’t do it themselves. She taught me how to make quilts of which I made two back in the day. She quilted them for me. I was lucky enough to get two that she made this fall. I absolutely love everything she does. She’s pretty amazing. As an aside, she and I learned to cross stitch together back in the day and I became the cross stitcher while she does the quilting. I love seeing your quilts and hope you continue to share them.
Thank you so much for watching. Sorry to be an enabler. 😉 Your friend is very nice to do all that long arming and generous to gift you quilts. I love that you have a friend to stitch with, stitchy friends are the best. ❤️
Gosh I could listen to you talk all day. You are so inspiring (and enabling( So I'm laying in bed watching you and the next thing I knew there I was grabbing my phone at 11 pm to order the Summer Bluejay. I'm going to start it for the #leapday2024sal with Chris the @campingstitcher. The Market release I am planning to start first is 324. There is another sal for it as well. I would love to pick your brain sometime about Rhode Island. ♥ Michelle
Oh! Let me know when you are going to start the Autumn is Joyful, would love to stitch along with you and I can bring it up in October. Anytime you want to zoom, let me know. Would love to join you!
We were just chatting about dates to start. Right now it’s looking June/July, but I will definitely let you know. I would love to zoom with you anytime. ❤️
I am so happy I found your channel. I bought 2 patterns from Market - Patriotic Quaker and Cottontail by Liz Mathew’s. I am trying to stitch the many patterns I have and now that I am retired I have been able to slowly make a dent. Where you in the New England Stitching table at the Jingle Ball? I popped in late and most were signing off. One day I will make it to a retreat. I am in Western MA. Your quilts are beautiful, I am getting the urge to start sewing again. I think it is wonderful that you are teaching your students this fun and satisfying craft. The drum was gorgeous.
Oh My Gosh! Great flosstube! I love your finish of float like a butterfly sting like a bee. I bought those two charts with the intention of stitching them together - my father was a boxer and this reminded me of him. I am stitching this in memory of him . Thank you for sharing how I can find the chart on putting them together! I went to their website and downloaded it! I can’t wait to stitch it now!
I love your beeswax tip to keep the needle threaded! Genius! I just started Symphony of Friendship as a “grandchild” piece. As one is born, I will stitch a bird for him/her. My first one was born a month ago and he will get the Cardinal!! This piece is spectacular!!
I’m a fellow Rhode Islander & I’m so glad I found your floss tube, your enthusiasm is very infectious. Thanks for the tip of the bees wax, I always have an issue with silk threads sliding off the needle so I will give your tip a try.
Your quilt is beautiful! I love the fabric lines you used! I too just finished a king size quilt top and dropped it off on Saturday at my local quilt shop to be long arm quilted. I used Midnight Garden by Gerri Robinson - it’s my biggest quilt so far as I also wanted mine to drape over the sides of my bed. One of these days I need to get myself to Blackstone Quilting Company which I originally saw featured in Quiltfolk magazine. I really enjoyed your video! Happy stitching!❤
Hi Linda, thanks for watching. there is no pattern for this style WIP keeper, but Elizabeth Ann Can Stitch has a tutorial which is excellent and Tiger Lily has two patterns on her website.

Thank you and great market pics. I like those too, but they will probably have to wait until next year.

You are so welcome! Thank you for watching. 😊
I love that your pillows don’t have a hole in the back. They are well done. It’s simple to stitch up the edge. Patty

Hi Linda, thanks for watching. there is no pattern for this style WIP keeper, but Elizabeth Ann Can Stitch has a tutorial which is excellent and Tiger Lily has two patterns on her website.
⭐️✂️🧵🪡💕
I love “Symphony of friends” but isn’t it very large?
Yes, it’s a big one. 229 x 379 I figure if I give myself 4 years, it will get done. 😊
Do you know of anyone who sells wipper(🤣) keepers similar to the ones you make?
I just saw people post on instagram and Facebook some for sale. Sorry I don’t remember their names.
