Love your plans! I'm celebrating my 60th birthday next year with a year of starts. I have 48 of them scheduled out so far but have room to add more. I'd start any of the following with you: You've Got This from the Artsy Housewife, Pirate Snowman, or Blue Jay Summer. I have those patterns and would just have to kit it up. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year. Im in New Zealand and no flosstube channel. I am planning on finishing the HAED sal this year. Stitch on my apothecary/ curo cabinet blanket throw - finish my owl forest moon deer - finish a nora corbet mermaid letter D - add to my alice in wonderland thread chart book and work on my Unconventional Cross stitch Hugin Munin full coverage and get around half way done by the end of the year

I work full time and don't need the extra stress of too many plans, however I do enjoy your eye spy challenge and also the acrostic challenges but don't do the pictures, etc. I've been stitching for decades and have many older patterns that keep getting passed over for new releases so I'm doing the 12x12 today with patterns that have been in my stash way too long😁,

My New Year New Start is going to be Cup of Cheer from Shannon Christine Desgins and I am going to do it on 14-count Blue Blizzard Opalescent aida 2 over 1. It will be the first time working on Sparkly Fabric. I also would like to start my Cottage Garden Samplings like The Fox, The Raccoon, The Swan and the Squirrel. So those are my plans so far. You really got my attention when you talked about stitching in hand but also that you are a left-handed stitcher! That is me. My happy place is the feel of linen. My preferred count is 36. With my sight I don't want to get fabric any smaller. I like using one thread on this count and the look of the combination.

I know what you mean about the eyes and glasses. I used to tell people that once my arms weren't long enough I would need a new pair of glasses.

For Black Roses, maybe consider using the Blue Sky Fabric using the Black Rose floss for everything but the roses and use Ruby Whisper for the Roses.

Actually watched this the day after it posted! I haven't stayed up till the New Year comes in for probably 40 years! I go to bed at my usual time and, miraculously, the New Year is here when I get up the next morning, without any help from me! Have a safe and happy new year to you and your family.

I listened to the audiobook of How to Solve Your Own Murder and enjoyed it. I enjoyed hearing it in the English accent.

Laura, I am behind on your videos (thanks a lot migraines) but am stating to catch up. I also didn’t feel comfortable in the stitching rooms. I think next year, if there is a class I want to do I will sign up again. If I got to know a couple of new people from the class I would feel more comfortable. I spent a good amount of money in the market and also bought the Christmas Clock! I bought Bless this House, the Fall Secret SAL, From Sea to Shining sea, and 3/4 seasonal Cottages. I wanted to suggest that you check out the Monochrome Mosaic by Modern Cross Stitch. Obviously designed as a monochrome piece, I just liked the design also. I hope things are getting better for you and your family.

I enjoy your tv recommendations, so here are mine. I had watched Based on a True Story (wholly fictional dramady serial killer story with Kaley Cuoco) a year or so ago, but I just discovered there was a season 2 and enjoyed that. It ends in such a way that I'm sure there will be a season 3. Comcast had a free week of MGM+ and I watched the few episodes available so far for the post-apocalypse show, Earth Abides. I bet the book it is based upon is good, too. (One note: He survives whatever wipes out almost all of humanity by being sick in his isolated cabin from a rattlesnake bite. Don't take his first aid measures seriously. Cutting the skin and sucking out the venom ala the old westerns doesn't work, and if you can't get to antivenom, you are probably going to die, regardless of an apocalypse.) I also enjoyed Conclave. I don't remember if you were the person who recommended that one.

Santa's House looks fantastic on the blue! I finally started mine a couple days before Christmas. It's a fun stitch!

I adore the ornament finish of Meg’s cat!! You did a fantastic job recharting it to look just the same. I know Meg will love it. Keep an eye on the USPS website, I looked yesterday & they’re still not accepting Canada post to allow the country to deal with the backlog. It may be a couple weeks yet.
